McConnell and Boehner should go to the movies instead. Obama´s going to have a temper tantrum. He´ll whine and cry and blame them for every bad thing that´s ever happened then storm out of the room. Let the sequester take effect. Prepare for the continuing resolution negotiations at the end of the month. The hysteria will be kicked up a couple of more notches.

This meeting should have been a weekly even months ago. I am sure congress has given the white house much more than $500,000 many times over that was spent to advance O´s agenda items. Of course it was our money. Shame on both there houses

They should send a well penned letter indicating "you´ve had three months, you chose to golf - time is up"

This meeting is purposeless. Dear Leader has no intention of cutting/reducing government spending and budgets. You cannot bargin with Dear Leader so why bother?

I´m surprised he´s coming home from his Chicken Little tour.

I´d be happy if they went in and said to Obama "We´ll see your sequester and raise it by 5 times that amount"...then just turn around and walk out. But, of course, THAT´S not going to happen. Boner will cower and cry when Bam starts verbally abusing him, and McConnell will just cover his ears and cry "UNCLE..WE GIVE UP!"

Out on a limb time: I predict!; This last second meeting will "avert" another national crisis. They will come out of the meeting all cheery, patting each other on the backck, grinning. Boehner will then look very somber and will say, "We listened to the President´s proposals and determined they were reasonable as compared to the alternative. Midnight vote, Senate along party lines, House, Dems get support from just enough Pubbies to push it over with a margin of four votes. Øbama will then quickly go back on vacation- exhausted from his trying and difficult negotiations to save the nation from the brink of another disaster. Gas prices will skyrocket, S&P will de-rate us once again.

You can´t negotiate with a Narcissist.
