Small businesses are trying to figure out what to do. Under 50 employees - they don´t have to comply with ObamaCare. But - those that do provide coverage are facing skyrocketing premiums because of it.
This article was thoughtful and did not demonize anyone. It made me nostalgic for a time when reporters simply reported.

These aren´t health care decisions., These are employment decisions based on an unknown expense. And it is the economic impact of the la that makes healthcare insurance both unaffordable and unavailable. Thanks to the all Democrat socialized medicine bill.

Mr Henderson is in the property management business, Obamacare has put him in the healthcare business, a business he does not want to be in. Reality is a hard teacher. America will be gone in less than a generation.

Employer based health care was a result of government regulation, in the form of wage and price controls. Companies lured good employees by means of benefits, such as health care, in lieu of wages, to get around wage controls.
Now the government is again regulating business via those very same health care plans, and once again, business will do a work-around. The left is unable to learn that top down government micromanagement of business and the markets results not in efficiencies but inefficiencies and unintended consequences. The end result is layer upon layer of patches and a regulatory thicket that no one can understand or comply with.

President Obama´s health care law will push 7 million people out of their job-based insurance coverage — nearly twice the previous estimate, according to the latest estimates from the Congressional Budget Office released Tuesday. CBO said that this year´s tax cuts have changed the incentives for businesses and made it less attractive to pay for insurance, meaning fewer will decide to do so. Instead, they´ll choose to pay a penalty to the government, totaling $13 billion in higher fees over the next decade.

This week the House of Representatives made a positive move in reforming the US immigration process by passing the STEM Jobs Act sponsored by Lamar Smith (R-TX). This act does what our immigration policy should do: ensure a higher level of economic growth in the United States by encouraging the brightest and most talented students in the world to become permanent residents of the United States.
