Hagel should not be confirmed as secretary of defense. I cannot imagine anyone being confirmed after the disastrous hearings he had and the glowing endorsement from Iran, of all places... What stupid times we live in. Washington DC is further and further out of touch with common sense.

The offering of Kerry and now Hagel are more of Ozero´s "in your face" moves, as are the Marxists and Islamists among his "czars."

It was reported a couple of weeks ag that more military in VA voted for the "won" than Romney in November. We also have two of the most liberal Senators , Warner and Kaine. The supposedly intelligent voters of my state, Virginia, elected them; many of those votes were from members of the military.
I served in the Army and grew up with a father who served in the Air Force for over twenty years. I want to feel bad for our military families but too many of them voted for the man in the WH and liberal Senators. They have brought this curse on US.

Well folks -- at least WE the people know who he is....

He´s anti/American through and through and WE the people have no chance with mc/cain and graham stumping for him....

It is totally in character for the Indonesian in the WH to nominate this man, but if the Senate confirms him, there is no excuse in the world that they can turn to. Good luck getting recruits under this Secretary.

Hagel was chosen for one reason - To dismantle our military and destroy our ability to defend ourselves. ALIbama hates the military and one of his marxist goals is to weaken and ultimately destroy it.

Hagel has no more qualifications to be Secretary of Defense than Kerry has to be Secretary of State. ZERO !!

Any L-dotter who fails to call their Senators is complicit if Hagel gets this position. We may not have enough votes to stop him, but it´s simply wrong not to try, and that´s the message every Senator needs to hear.
