Is Obama Using
Anti-Gun Spambots?

Power Line, by John Hinderaker

Original Article

Posted By:StormCnter, 2/26/2013 5:59:55 AM

Texas Congressman Steve Stockman has blown the whistle on President Obama’s anti-gun Twitter campaign. Stockman says that hardly any of Obama’s anti-gun tweets come from actual human beings, while most are computer-generated spam: “Obama’s anti-gun campaign is a fraud,” Stockman said. … Stockman said that in response to Obama’s call for people to tweet their congressman in support of gun control legislation, he received just 16 tweets. But he said all of these messages were identical, and that a closer look at them revealed that only six were from real people.

I believe I´ve seen those spambots on this site, and not just on the gun control issue. Plus there seem to be some new trolls here and there. They seemed pretty obvious to me.

The Left is all fake, all the time. They plant stories in newspapers, TV and now the internet. And they´re very, very good at it. I wish someone on the conservative side would learn to fight fire with fire. It would be so entertaining to see the left sputter with indignation like they always do when the right plays their own game back at them.

Obamahaving to use spambots and probably hiring poeple is because his astroturf rabble rousing on guns isn´t sticking to the public.Mot people believe mass shootings are a mental problem, not a gun problem.Theleft thinks they can pass mountains of laws to sanitize the public from any grave threats.

There;s 10´s of thousands of people who struggle with all varieties of drug addiction every day and there´s leftists theories these people should just be given to drugs to take the profit out of dealing and reduce theft crime. They couldn´t care less on the human toll addicts pay for their addiction.

A plane crash at Smolensk in Russia four years ago wiped out the Warsaw leadership. It used to be seen as an accident. Now, after Putin’s games in Ukraine, people aren’t so sure. Four years ago this week, Polish President Lech Kaczynski was killed in a plane crash near the Katyn Forest in Russia where he was flying to honor the 22,000 Polish officers, lawyers, priests and professors slaughtered there by the Soviets 70 years before. Ninety-five other military, political and public figures including his wife died on that plane. One of the more heartbreaking details to emerge was that First

Last week Hillary Clinton gave what appeared at first to be a rambling and unfocused answer when asked to name the proudest achievement of her four years as Secretary of State. The short version is, she doesn´t have one. But Clinton´s words make a lot more sense when seen not as a non-answer to a specific question but as an effort to lay the foundation and establish a theme for a presidential campaign. The occasion was her appearance on a panel discussion at the "Women in the World" meeting in Manhattan. It was pretty easy going; the moderator, New York Times

“I see lobbying,” Tony Podesta has said, “as getting information in the hands of people who are making decisions so they can make more informed decisions.” Last week the information Tony Podesta was giving was the divorce complaint he had filed in D.C. Court against his wife Heather. The hands receiving that information belonged to a gossip columnist for the Washington Post, who made the “informed decision” to report on it. Later in the day Heather, who is also a lobbyist, informed the Post the text of her counter-suit. It published a follow-up. The documents, which you can read below, did

Reggie Love on life after White House:

President Obama‘s former body man Reggie Love is — ahem — loving life. Specifically, life outside the White House. Thursday, The Mirror spotted him at lunch, dining al fresco at BLT Steak, a short sprint from the White House. If the 32-year-old was ever a tense, stressed out aide in a suit, you wouldn’t know it. He was relaxed, at ease, and sipping lemonade as he chatted away with what looked to be a longtime female friend, possibly a former coworker. So, of course, The Mirror listened in. Love left the Obama Administration in 2011 to earn his MBA at the University of

President Obama met privately Thursday with Texas state Sen. Wendy Davis, the Democratic nominee for governor, amid accusations by her GOP opponent that she’s afraid to be seen in public with the president. A White House aide said Mr. Obama “visited briefly” with Ms. Davis following his remarks at the LBJ Presidential Library in Austin to mark the 50th anniversary of the Civil Rights Act. The meeting took place after reporters traveling with Mr. Obama had been moved into vans, so they didn’t witness the meeting. Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott, the Republican nominee for governor, has publicly dared Ms. Davis to be

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is the sound of nails scratching on the Blackboard Jungle. The body ostensibly honored Kiss, Cat Stevens, Nirvana, and Peter Gabriel, among others, by inducting them into their club last night at a party at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs and "Be-Bop-A-Lula" and "Awopbopaloobop Alopbamboom" don’t belong cooped up behind a glass case in a museum. In his Senate Foreign Relations Committee testimony last week, Secretary of State John Kerry blamed Israel for the breakdown in peace negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians. He argued that an Israeli announcement of 700 new housing units for a neighborhood in Jerusalem were what did in the talks. “Poof, that was sort of the moment,” Kerry said. “We find ourselves where we are.” This is an amazing claim, especially when the housing units are not in a settlement—but are in Jerusalem, Israel’s capital, in a location that every Israeli and every Palestinian knows will be part of Israel in

At the Civil Rights Summit in Austin this week, there were some prominent Democrats who surveyed the landscape and admitted that things are, in fact, much different now than they were in the early 1960s. BEIJING — In 1970, when China was in the grip of the Cultural Revolution, Zhang Hongbing, a 16-year-old in Guzhen, a county in Anhui Province, made a fateful decision. During a family debate that year, his mother, Fang Zhongmou, had criticized Mao Zedong for his cult of personality. Her son and his father, believing her views to be counterrevolutionary, decided to inform on her. She was arrested that same day. Mr. Zhang still recalls how his mother’s shoulder joints gave a grating creak as her captors pulled the cord tight. Two months later, she was shot to death. In 1980, four years

Al Sharpton was thick as thieves with a notorious drug trafficker when he became an FBI informant — and even convinced then-US Sen. Alfonse D’Amato to get them $600,000 in federal funding for their “anti-drug” program. The portly preacher had just helped D’Amato win a tough 1986 re-election over Mark Green when he turned to the powerful lawmaker for the funding. Sharpton’s plan was to use a church-owned Brooklyn building for his program and give control to Robert Curington, who was labeled a Class 1 trafficker by the Drug Enforcement Administration because of his ties to major heroin dealers, according

A new review is questioning the effectiveness of two key drugs enlisted in the fight against influenza and in turn the investments by governments to stockpile the drugs in the event of a global flu outbreak. The antiviral drugs Tamiflu (oseltamivir) and Relenza (zanamivir ) are commonly used to treat influenza in healthy adults and children. In the case of Tamiflu, the drug does shorten symptoms of influenza by about half a day - as the manufacturer suggests - but there is insufficient evidence to support claims that it reduces hospital admissions or serious complications, such as confirmed pneumonia or

Solar power has won the global argument. Photovoltaic energy is already so cheap that it competes with oil, diesel and liquefied natural gas in much of Asia without subsidies. Roughly 29pc of electricity capacity added in America last year came from solar, rising to 100pc even in Massachusetts and Vermont.[Snip] The technology is improving so fast--helped by the US military--that it has achieved a virtous circle.
