Trayvon Martin’s mother:
‘Use this case as an example’

Washington Post, by Jonathan Capehart

Sybrina Fulton wants George Zimmerman to stand trial for killing her son Trayvon Martin a year ago tomorrow in Sanford, Fla. Before that can happen, Judge Debra Nelson must determine whether the immunity from prosecution granted under Florida’s insane “stand your ground” (SYG) law applies to Zimmerman and his actions on Feb. 26, 2012. Neither Fulton nor her attorney Benjamin Crump believe it does. This is the only area where they agree with Mark O’Mara, Zimmerman’s lawyer. But Fulton says if the former neighborhood watch volunteer avoids a jury trial, “a whole lot of people need to

Comments:
Trayvon Martin’s defense strategy: "Burn, baby burn." Ironically, there would be no need for "vigilante justice" if the young, dead punk hadn´t tried to kill Mr. Zimmerman. And, 0bama would have had a "son."

Exactly #3, stupid WaPoo.... SYG is not insane. It is also not really applicable here. It was just a plain and simple case of self-defense. He was punched out, knocked down, and Martin was on top of him beating his head into the ground. SYG is irrelevant.

Yes, by all means. Use this case as an example. If you are horrible human beings who have a child.... And then you´re horrible parents..... Who allow said child to menace society..... Ten eventually your little delinquent punk of a child will kill someone or will himself be killed.

I, for one, am glad that Zimmerman survived.

Trayvon rolled the dice by jumping a man with his back turned who carried a concealed permit. It could´ve happened in Chicago and no one would care.

It´s deep, it’s dark and it’s mysterious. It could also swallow the world’s tallest building, end-to-end, four times — and still have room for more. The Tasmania-sized area of the southern Indian Ocean where Flight MH370 is believed to have crashed is not only tempestuous and broad. It is also chillingly deep — so much so that natural light cannot penetrate the blackness and even whales cannot dive to the bottom. As the hunt for the missing Malaysia Airlines jet drags on, we look at the mysteries of the sea and examine the search challenges below the waves.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve found myself in a bunch of conversations in which the unspoken assumption was that the main goal of life is to maximize happiness. That’s normal. When people plan for the future, they often talk about all the good times and good experiences they hope to have. We live in a culture awash in talk about happiness. In one three-month period last year, more than 1,000 books were released on Amazon on that subject. But notice this phenomenon. When people remember the past, they don’t only talk about happiness. It is often the ordeals that seem most significant. People shoot for happiness but feel

LONDON - Peaches Geldof, the wild-child second daughter of concert organizer Bob Geldof who worked as a model, a television presenter and a fashion writer and filled the pages of British tabloids with her late-night antics, has died at age 25. There was no immediate word on the cause of her death at her home in Wrotham, Kent, southeast England. Her father said in a statement Monday: "Peaches has died. We are beyond pain." "She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us," he said. "Writing 'was' destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child.
