Will Obama push us over the edge?

| Obama thinks he has a mandate for change. But this is the man who ran for president in 2008 promising to “cut net spending” and to shrink the federal government; a man who promised that his “stimulus” spending was only temporary. Obama hid regulations from view until after his reelection. The press maintained the fiction that Obama supports the Second Amendment and is no threat to citizens’ keeping guns for self-defense. Yet the day after his reelection, Obama called for the UN Arms Trade Treaty negotiations to be started again, and a few weeks later he promised to put the full force of the federal

Comments: Mr. Lott says he is a optimist who believes that in America facts can change minds and the facts are against 0bama. I really want to believe him. However, there are way too many who have no idea what the facts are. They are in an oblivion and are owned by 0bama.

Going after Obama is such a loser. He is impervious for the next 4 years.
What we should do is to go after Democrats in the Senate. Harry Reid #1. This is the vunerable point. And all other vicious Dems like Schumer, Durbin, etc.

Under Dear Leader the dems have perfected election fraud and stealing elections to a fine art. The republican party acts like a whipped dog, is disorganized and ineffectual. The progressives control the media, education, entertainment industry, and much of the court system. They have the presidency and the senate. It is possible that the republicans could loose the house next year. Given the dems control of power and ability to steal elections with impunity I do not forsee a conservative resurgance. Not unless conservatives are willing to play hardball, practice bare knuckle politics, and acknowledge election fraud, then fight it. I do not see the dems/progressives, Marxists allowing a peaceful revolution to occur.

We´ve already gone over the edge. There is no fixing what we have here. We have allowed the rise of the "political class" who pander to the lowest common denominator in our population, who also provide the winning votes. These are the people who get something from the government, whether it´s cheese, phones, disability, health care, unemployment compensation, or whatever. Our currency is being devalued right out of our pockets by QE1-9. Our social security trust fund (which should never have existed anyway) was stolen nearly 40 years ago. See what happens when the political class smells money??? They steal it and buy votes with it. The fourth estate has morphed into the fifth column and either doesn´t report truth or simply doesn´t report at all. Our constitutional rights have been chipped away and now, the last one is about to fall, the 2nd amendment. When it´s gone, the end is here. The 2nd allows all the other amendments to exist. We will no longer be able to defend ourselves from the creeping tyranny that is engulfing us. There is no fix. We all have a choice presented to us by our ruler. We can be enslaved or be dead. Why else would domestic federal agencies need billions of cartridges and thousands of REAL assault rifles??? Why else are military units training, in situ, for vertical insertions into domestic population centers?? Why else has the military trained for mass relocations??Folks, the grand experiment has failed, we let it get away from us, we allowed the rise of the political class, and let our government run on auto pilot far too long. Now we pay the piper.

My hope is that by splitting the country, people who believe in family, faith, freedom, private property and limited government can save themselves, and let the devil take the rest. My fear is that not enough people are willing to take the big step to freedom. The Founding Fathers risked everything. I´m not sure I can do it myself, but I am sure that if we do not, our grandchildren will be slaves. The one good thing Obama may accomplish with his worthless existence is to push people to take the big step.

The question is whether Obama would intentionally push enough Americans over the edge where violence is seen as the only viable option against oppression-by-Obama. This would confirm, for all time, the Left´s lie that rightwingteapartybitterclingers ( = those remaining Americans who refuse to go socialist) are a danger - a danger that must be dealt with by force and, sooner or later, eliminated. The Left would have multiple orgasms over this, and I bet Obama dreams at night about taking, uh, "action" against the enemies of "forward"....

At a Democratic National Committee fund raising event in Atherton, California Thursday morning, President Obama declared that the United States government still needs to get its fiscal house in order: We still waste money in all kinds of things that don´t work, and we have the capacity to shift those dollars into things that do work and that will grow our economy. And we can reduce our deficit, stabilize our debt, and do so without sacrificing the kinds of investments that are going to be required to grow. During his remarks, the president spoke of the

Religious liberty groups are mobilizing to defend the chaplain of George Washington University’s Newman Center after gay students launched an effort to have the priest fired because he preaches against homosexuality and abortion. “It’s discrimination against Catholics,” said Patrick Reilly, president of the Cardinal Newman Society. “Secular colleges are fast becoming a very unsafe place for Catholics who hold true to their faith. This is a very, very sad situation.” Two gay students at George Washington told the GW Hatchet student newspaper that they want Father Greg Shaffer removed from campus

One of the first political issues negotiators must tackle in crafting an immigration reform bill is among the most important: what to name it. It’s a decision that will bruise egos, create legacies and deeply affect subsequent messaging battles. “Every time the bill is mentioned in the press, you either have a brand that´s positive or a brand that doesn´t mean anything or even hurts you,” said Frank Sharry, the executive director of the pro-immigration reform group America’s Voice. The wrong name, he warned, could doom a good bill. “If there´s not a

President Obama is eager to build public support for his health care overhaul in the few months remaining before its implementation, but waning enthusiasm from Democrats threatens his effort right out of the gate. Two-thirds of Democrats now believe Obama´s health care reforms will either hurt them personally or have no effect on their daily lives, a Quinnipiac University poll released Thursday shows. In comparison, just 27 percent of Democratic respondents said the reforms would help them. The president has long struggled to convince independent and Republican-leaning voters that his health care blueprint would lower premiums and expand insurance coverage.

President Obama´s biggest gaffe yesterday when speaking of California Attorney General Kamala Harris was not in flirtatiously complimenting her as "the best-looking attorney general," but in introducing an observation from the system of beauty into a forum that was about the system of power. What´s that, you say? Irin Carmon does a great job in Salon in laying out the bounds of propriety for when it´s appropriate to talk about a woman´s looks as a general matter. But I´ve long felt we lack a solid theoretical underpinning for easily discussing these issues, and why precisely it is that

Put out an all-points bulletin: Millions of Americans have gone missing from the workforce. Every month that those would-be workers are gone raises the odds that they might never come back, dimming the prospects for future economic growth. The vanishing trend is more than a decade old, but it accelerated during the Great Recession. Throughout 2012, economists held out hope that it had stopped. But then came Friday’s jobs report, and hopes were dashed. The Labor Department reported that the U.S. labor force — everyone who has a job or is looking for one — shrank
