Obama: Sequester is Congress´
fault, not mine

Investor´s Business Daily, by Andrew Malcolm

Original Article

Hi, everybody. Our top priority as a country right now should be doing everything we can to grow our economy and create good, middle class jobs. And yet, less than one week from now, Congress is poised to allow a series of arbitrary, automatic budget cuts that will do the exact opposite. They will slow our economy. They will eliminate good jobs. They will leave many families who are already stretched to the limit scrambling to figure out what to do.

We have had all kinds of "firsts" when it comes to presidents, but Obama has easily earned the title of "first infantile" president. He reminds me of my children when they were 5-6 years old. "It wasn´t me, daddy". "It was their fault, daddy". But then they grew up. It is a shame that Obama never did grow up and I am afraid he never will.

Wow, this man-child will say anything to escape responsibility for the mess he himself has created. he got away with owning up on Benghazi fiasco, unfortunately he may get away with the sequester blame game too. the country will survive the sequester with no problem if we have a leader who will set a path to fiscal stability rather than scare the populace with senseless theatrics. The media who has covered for this act needs to be exposed for what they are - lap dogs and talking point regurgitators.

Nothing is his fault. He could not get away with what he does if we had real unbiased journalism in this country. Press and tv news readers cover, shill and praise him and attack the other side instead of reporting the facts.

Obama´s message: It is not my fault, it is the fault of Congress and the other side. I created jobs for the middle class and increased oil production, will not raise taxes on the middle class. Get in the enemy´s face and tell them, I am a star. More taxes on the rich except my friends and those I must bribe to go along with me.

It´s a known fact that Barack Obama and his crew gave birth to the so-called sequester. That is evidenced by the fact that nobody who has been watching WDC politics for ages ever heard of the word sequester before Obama stepped out on the national scene. The sequester is no doubt a hot WDC potato and just maybe this time Obama has overplayed his hand. We will know that soon, will the wimpy Republicans cave again or not?

Calling Foul and Shullbit on this one. This was a proposal that came directly from the White Hut war room in the basement, and was too clever by half when it was made.

A bluff was laid out, and the White Hut got called on it. Making a bid while holding a weak hand, thinking the other fellow would not call and raise you is as risky in politics as it is in poker, and Bronco Bama is no poker player.

And even the ante is not all that large, in the scheme of things. The amount involved in the "sequester" would be a rounding error in the Federal budget.

If we had a Federal budget.

Late-night comedians and their writers pounce on the day´s news as their primary source to twist and distort into laughs. Russia, of course, remains a hot item following the "uncontested arrival" of its troops in Crimea. Reflecting the diminished approval of President Obama, the late-night shows have been aiming their laughs at him more. Even Jimmy Fallon, who kicked off his Jay Leno replacement tour with a Michelle Obama interview, has aimed some laughs at his presidential pal. Although he quickly returns with something barbed at Republicans.

Good morning. I’m Congresswoman Jackie Walorski. Today, I’m calling on President Obama — the Commander-in-Chief of our Armed Forces — to support H.R. 4031, the VA Management Accountability Act. I do so as a member of the House Veterans Affairs Committee. [Snip] We need this commonsense bill because it will empower the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to fire senior officials who aren’t up to the job. Without this real-world accountability, the VA has become the epitome of bureaucracy run amok.

Ladies and gentlemen, I’m Joe Biden. I’m filling in for President Obama, who is abroad. I want to talk to you today about the minimum wage and the overwhelming need to raise the minimum wage. President Obama, whose poll approval numbers hover weakly around 40% among Americans, met Thursday with Pope Francis, whose approval numbers among the same people are 76%. Now, you know why the Chicago Democrat sought the meeting. The two leaders exchanged gifts. The Vicar of Christ gave the ex-state senator a copy of his book "The Joy of the Gospel." The 44th president gave the head of the world´s Roman Catholic Church a box of fruit and veggie seeds from his wife´s garden. The first meeting of the new pope and lame-duck president was closely-watched because of the Democrat's concerted efforts to bring religious

To the surprise of absolutely no one outside the Obama Oval Office, those Crimeans who voted in Sunday´s trumped-up referendum opted overwhelmingly to rejoin Russia. This as thousands of Russian troops occupied the Ukrainian province, while an even larger Russian army happened to conduct ´war games´ on Ukraine´s border. Obama, the former community organizer, again telephoned President Vladimir Putin, the former KGB colonel. Obama reminded the Russian he´d broken international law. Obama warned the Russian the referendum "would never be recognized by the United States." Bet that stung.

Good morning. My name is Bill Johnson, and I’m proud to represent Eastern and Southeastern Ohio in the House of Representatives. We’re living through the weakest economic recovery since World War II, and a lot of folks are struggling to make ends meet. Unemployment remains stubbornly high; the number of long-term unemployed is actually at record levels. But these statistics only tell half the story. Eleven million Americans have become so discouraged that they’ve given up looking for work altogether.

Obamacare supporters are taking a bit of a victory lap today after yesterday’s administration announcement that six million people have signed up for private plans under the law, equaling the revised projection put out by the Congressional Budget Office after the botched launch of the exchanges last October. It’s a weak cause for celebration, given that success, according to Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, was originally "at least" seven million people getting covered under the law by the end of March.
