Any Catholic tha twants to participate on immigration should be excommunicated on it. They have no business pushing policies that have a law breaking component to it.
I´m keeping my fingers crossed that the next Pope is ultra conservative but I´m not getting my hopes up. They say most of South Americans are Catholics but they have no problem ignoring ten commandments they don´t like,like coveting thy neighbors goods,in this case welfare benefts here.

My theory about the sex abuse by priests is that they are latent homosexuals who are too tempted by the young boys and commit those crimes against nature. No news outlet would suggest that reasoning because of the current positive PC that surrounds homosexuality. Not suggesting that all gays are child abusers, just that is one component in child abuse within the priesthood. Pity the Catholic church, once so majestic and spiritual!

Mahoney secretly removed $115 million, or 88%, of the funding from his regions´s perpetual care cemetery funds (i.e. he stole the money from parishioners who paid into it) to pay off sex abuse cases, the LA Times revealed recently. Quite a piece of work, this Mahoney.

I remember an article by either JPII or B16 that France had the right to remove their illegal immigrant gypsies as long as the process was humane & dignified. It will be another four years before Archbishop Gomez is eligible to be made a cardinal — when Cardinal Mahony turns 80 and can no longer vote in the conclave. According to church rules, a diocese cannot have two voting cardinals.

Mahoney should be stripped of the Office of "Cardinal" since he has been obstructing
the Law for the last 20 years or so.
Probably he shoud be excommunicated from the church.
He is an embarassment to Catholics Worldwide. Worst of all he did not protect the children, remember the " millstone story".

The unemployment rate, because of a terrible statistic, is down to 7.6%. The number of people in this country who are not working is shameful. Ninety million Americans are no longer in the workforce. Ninety million. People not in the labor force grew by 663,000, and now 90 million. That´s the labor force participation rate. This is 1979 levels.
