| WASHINGTON -- Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood warned Friday of massive delays in flights and the closing of 100 smaller air-traffic control towers, as part of automatic spending cuts scheduled March 1. Because of furloughs for air-traffic controllers, LaHood said flights from New York to San Francisco could be delayed 90 minutes. He says once airlines understand how flights are delayed, they will begin canceling flights. He said the control towers at the 100 smallest airports will be closed, from a list including those in Boca Raton, Fla., Joplin, Mo., and Hilton Head, S.C. So in outside of Beltway terms, Federal spending this year - after the Sequester ´cuts´ kicks in - going t/b a few hundred billion $ HIGHER than last´s years spending (would say budget, but there hasn´t been one in 4 years). So by giving TSA/FAA more money this year, they´re going to have to take all these actions.
Everyone knows only rich people fly, so good that they´re wasting more of their time.

Hope the president is listening. Maybe he can do something to prevent the nightmare we are being warned is about to befall us.
You have to admire the dude, though. He is so dedicated to fairness, i.e. a tax increase on the wealthy, that he is prepared to let to whole country go to ruin and to inflict vast economic hardship on millions of people if Republicans don´t agree to raise taxes.
He really sticks by his principles, even if it means compromising military readiness and national security. What a guy. What principles!

Now who do you suppose that will agitate.. not me, I´m not flying anymore.
I´m thinking that in California a Proposition needs to be generated and put on the ballot. First up, a heavy jail sentence for non citizens who vote in any election. Same for citizens who vote multiple times, with voting privileges taken away forever. Say maybe 5 years or so might get their attention. A retroactive clause that fines and jails non citizens who vote in the Proposition election setting these restrictions.
I can hear the crying now. Allowing illegal´s to vote steals your vote. Then send them south and all points of the compass. Another action that needs to start now is the recall of McCain and others that support amnesty. The legit public is against amnesty in any form. How hard is that to understand.

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. Gluten-free diets are all the rage, but they can be dangerous if not done right. What is gluten? It´s the spongy complex of proteins, found naturally in wheat, rye, and barley, that gives elasticity to dough and allows it to rise. When flour is moistened and either kneaded or mixed into dough, gluten molecules form an elastic, microscopic latticework that traps the carbon dioxide produced when yeast ferments, causing dough to inflate like a hot air balloon. Baking hardens the gluten, which helps the finished product keep its shape. Wheat — and gluten — is ubiquitous in the American diet.
