| The crowd was roaring. The lone man, ramrod straight, in his impeccable brown uniform would step forward toward the lectern, then pause and let his eyes wander over the thousands of up turned faces—all staring at him, waiting for him to speak. And they waited—and they waited. (Snip) A full sixty seconds would expire before that man would take the one remaining step to the lectern, and begin speaking. (snip) Those of you reading this now, if you are near my age, know exactly of whom I speak

Mostly the roaring crowds are gone but the adoring media remains to color this man ´moderate, caring, fighting for us.
G-d help us if we allow this fascist to gain any more power than he has already taken for himself.

It´s too bad that when one makes the Hitler comparisons, they immediately marginalized. Unfortunately, in this case, the shoe fits.
I, too, fear Obama. He is evil incarnate.

The truly scary part is that our system of checks and balances has disappeared. The Congress and The Supreme Court and the Executive branches are supposed to reign in a rogue branch if they stray from the constitution. Currently we have an out of control Executive branch with a compliant and enabling Congress and Supreme Court. No, you can´t have my guns Barack!!

Psalm 46. Psalm 46 through all of this until it is over, if it is ever over in my lifetime (I´m 43, so that may be a while).
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in time of trouble. Therefore, we will not fear though the earth be removed and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea; though the mountains quake with their surging.

FTA: "He was a master at destroying nations and nearly destroyed the world."
Disabuse yourself of the notion that the silent (former) majority of actual US citizens will rise up and shake off the inexorable march to totalitarianism through some new-found civic enlightenment as measured at the ballot box.
Embracing illegal immigration to create a permanent progressive voting majority, topped off by systemic voter fraud, has moved the concept of one citizen - one vote beyond the tipping point - or will most certainly pass that point over the remainder of the current presidential term.
Onerous restrictions on firearms and ammunition, aided by the progressive media´s full court press, will dampen any latent fear of meaningful citizen resistance progressives may once have had as the trajectory of our country more closely resembles Mann´s hockey stick, only inverted as the slouch becomes a free-for-all slide to bonafide third world status.
There is but one solution remaining to preserve our constitutional republic but conservatives, by definition respectful of order and tradition, will not be spurned to act in a revolutionary manner unless or until it is too late to prevail. Too many fellow conservatives, wounded by the outrage of the day coming from the creeping flood of progressive usurpation of constitutional order and individual freedoms, still cry "impeach" as if Congress were truly a rational body acting with good faith and following the law of the land. The frogs are boiling and still we argue whether or not Rubio is eligible to be our chief executive.

And the ignorant masses in this country, continually propagandized by the left, will stupidly let it happen in this country. Those who do revolt (unless in gigantic numbers) will be silenced and marginalize if lucky, destroyed and imprisoned if not. Each day is another leap to that end. The regime now feels invincible, as it should.

Neither Mussolini or Hitler knew how to govern. Their preoccupation was in filling the void at their center with the adoration of crowds.
Obtainment was easier than its maintenance. Their brutality emerged gradually while they blindly groped to sustain position and survival.
Evil is a process formed in youth and fueled by self-preservation. Once it has you, there are no choices.
Yes, it sounds familiar.

Who´s going to stop him? The Republican congress? The supreme court? The news media? Fellow Democrats? I hear and read about the need for a new civil war. The result of which would forever destroy this country, if not place us under foreign domination. The last internal war cost us 600,000 dead (2% of the population), this would equate to 6,000,000 people dead today. I don´t know what the solution is.

The scary part of this ongoing drama is not the puppet orator that they put out front. Rather it is who programs the TOTUS? It is obvious as it was in the presidential debates that the president is an empty suit who has been trained to read and deliver an emoti0nal speech when given a teleprompter. Watch his infrequent Q&A´s. he hems and haws until the answer is put on TOTUS. Is it Bill Ayers? is it Soros? is it the muslim brotherhood? Is it Putin? This is a serious question that needs an answer.

If one of the commenters think that this is hyperbole, well I have been feeling this for years. I lived through the Hitler years so I rcognize a deep relationship between Obama´s philosophy and actions. Wake up, you idiots who are so confident that our country (with its huge number of ´ignorant´ voters) does not fall for Obama´s and the left´s propaganda

London, England - A new wealth tax is being proposed by the leftist wing (The Liberal Democrats) of our coalition government that will come with unprecedented powers to enter our homes and root through our personal possessions to value rings, necklaces, paintings and furniture, anything that might raise more taxes. If we refuse to be inspected or get our own valuations wrong, we would be facing fines, maybe even a jail sentence. This brainchild was conceived by the Lib Dems for their next election manifesto and is part of a series of measures planned to tax the better off.

As most real conservatives know, Obama, by his own admissions, appointments, associates, and actions, is a hard-core, 21st century, Marxist revolutionary. This means that while he has no real plan for what his utopian, pie-in-the-sky collectivist state would look like, or how it would survive as an economic entity, he is dedicated to destroying our existing free, constitutional, capitalist republic to start the process. It also means that like all Marxists, archaic and modern, his primary enemy is what Marx called the bourgeoisie – the Middle Class. As those who went to school while actual history

A week from now, a dramatic new federal policy is set to go into effect that threatens U.S. national security, thousands of jobs and more. In a bit of irony, President Obama stood Tuesday with first responders who could lose their jobs if the policy goes into effect. Most Americans are just hearing about this Washington creation for the first time: the sequester. What they might not realize from Mr. Obama´s statements is that it is a product of the president´s own failed leadership.

Leaving aside for the moment the likelihood that parties and party politics in America will become moot within the next few years (owing to the emergence of a single party or the country’s dissolution into civil war), conservatives and libertarians are finding themselves at an unpleasant crossroads. While some observers gave up on the leadership of the Republican Party long ago, it is now becoming apparent to rank-and-file Republicans that the GOP leadership and its prominent operatives are wholly complicit in the fundamental transformation of America.

Texas Gov. Rick Perry was scheduled to be in California the start of this week. The Associated Press reported the governor planned to meet with executives in San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Los Angeles and Orange County. Gov. Perry´s office said he would meet with leaders in the high-tech, biotech, financial, insurance and entertainment industries. The visit follows a modest radio ad campaign launched last week – which then spawned nationwide media attention – aimed at promoting the Lone Star State´s lower taxes and friendlier business climate. snip

Outgoing Defense Secretary Leon Panetta reportedly believes the military should receive a pay cut in order to respond to the budget cuts facing the Pentagon — a position that might strengthen the Republican push to reverse President Obama’s executive order raising the salary of Vice President Joe Biden and other federal officials. “Panetta will recommend to Congress that military salaries be limited to a one percent increase in 2014,” CNN reports, explaining that Panetta is “effectively decreasing troop salaries next year . . . The decision comes as the secretary is stepping up the rhetoric about dire cuts at the Pentagon if sequestration goes into effect.” Headline split and Content added by staff.

The dictionary tells us that a constitution is a law, or compilation of laws, determining the fundamental political principles of a government. The people of the United States have a constitution. Now, I know this will come as a shock to many, but we actually DO have a constitution, which was written at the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia in 1787 and subsequently ratified by the original thirteen states.

Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) plans to introduce (or has already introduced) gun-control legislation in the 113th Congress, ostensibly to protect the lives of children, and to curb mass murders, like the one that occurred in Newtown, CT. At the same time, Feinstein is very pro-choice and supports taxpayer funding for abortions. She opposes bans on partial-birth abortion. She has spoken about the constitutional right to an abortion and, in 2003, on the Senate floor, spoke in support of Roe v Wade. She, in 2005, opposed the Unborn Victims of Violence Act. snip

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”

Put out an all-points bulletin: Millions of Americans have gone missing from the workforce. Every month that those would-be workers are gone raises the odds that they might never come back, dimming the prospects for future economic growth. The vanishing trend is more than a decade old, but it accelerated during the Great Recession. Throughout 2012, economists held out hope that it had stopped. But then came Friday’s jobs report, and hopes were dashed. The Labor Department reported that the U.S. labor force — everyone who has a job or is looking for one — shrank
