Brennan to become CIA director if the Obama administration keeps dodging questions about its policy on lethal drone strikes against terrorism suspects, including Americans. In a letter to Mr. Brennan on Thursday, Mr. Paul, Kentucky Republican, said that Mr. Brennan evaded answering a key question about the administration’s drone policy during a confirmation hearing this month before the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence

While the Brennan and Hagel nominations are by no means unimportant issues, I believe they are being used as distractions from the larger issues of incroaching government tyranny. What other fresh hell is being hatched behind our (and the media´s) backs is something I´d rather know about so I can prepare to leave the country or go out into the wilderness where they can´t find me. Those seem to be the only two choices other than a revolution.
I´m too old to be a survivalist but I see their point. I´m too old to leave the country but I´d like to -- until this monster is out of the White House and America gets freedom back on track.
The Leftist model is to constantly keep the people off balance with volatile issues while the sleight of hand takes place behind Agency doors and White House meetings with Valerie Jarrett et al.
Don´t get suckered into being distracted from the real problems -- dictatorship on the rise, a 22nd amendment repeal, gun confiscation, prohibition of land-ownership and private property, death panels, religious persecution, wealth confiscation and creeping communism.

Americans deserve to have a clear definition of where drone attacks on Americans can occur. There should be an outright ban of drone attacks within the boundaries of the United Sates.

Perhaps if someone explained that the drone strikes on Americans could be a drug dealer near them or perhaps someone who is mistaken for a terrorist but is in fact an innocent citizen like themselves they might care. Not going to happen but it would be interesting if they knew what this means.

As if we needed any more evidence of Obama´s plans for America. Many of us on the right had hoped he would be merely another Alinsky Democrat like Hillary Clinton (although that would have been bad enough). It turns out he is a hardcore Alinskyite with hardcore Marxist beliefs. Even more troubling, as the Hagel and Brennan picks point out, is his view of the Middle East. It´s baffling, but these are his picks and they were chosen for a reason. His purposes will become clear as time rolls on.

Those conducting these hearings should display information on how many innocent people die as "collateral damage" in each of zippy´s drone strikes. Especially the number of children. Then we can compare those numbers to the number of children killed in Newtown and it might wake up some of the zombies.
