| WASHINGTON — Hollywood actor and political activist Danny Glover, star of the “Lethal Weapon” films with Mel Gibson, told The Daily Caller that Congress should “abolish guns” in the U.S. “I don’t own a gun and definitely not only Gun Control, we should abolish guns, the personal guns. That’s how far I’m willing to go,” Glover told TheDC at a TransAfrica Forum benefit event on Wednesday night. “There are many people in this country who do not have guns, who don’t own guns and are still under the same, are still susceptible to being burglarized or anything,

Hey Danny Boy, tell your idiot friends in Hoolywood to no longer have guns in the movies except for War Movies!!!
You can tell your friends to end all video games with guns.
But don´t tell us to disarm. If that happens, we all lose our freedom and rights. You never thought about that now did you Danny Boy!!!

Being honest and morally-consistent, Glover always tells the 9-1-1 operator to send cops armed only with Mace when he needs help.
#14: Actually, RKBA is not the "law of the land." A close reading and clear understanding of the Declaration and Constitution, with recognition of the true meaning of "inalienable," makes that clear.
"Inalienable rights" pre-exist, and have primacy above, any gov´t the citizens might form. Therefore, no law such a gov´t [inferior by definition to "inalienable rights"] passes can reach those rights [that is, affect them in any way]. The right to armed self-defense is absolute. The only way that right can be limited, impaired, or lost is via criminal acts by a citizen. And no, possession of weapon X or magazine Y by a lawful citizen cannot be criminal.

Several snippets of the audio from the February strategy sessions were published Tuesday by Mother Jones magazine, along with a lengthy article. The recording, obtained from an unnamed source, included McConnell aides discussing ways to politically damage actress Ashley Judd, who at the time was talked about as a possible McConnell challenger.

And we can reduce our deficit, stabilize our debt, and do so without sacrificing the kinds of investments that are going to be required to grow. During his remarks, the president spoke of the

One of the first political issues negotiators must tackle in crafting an immigration reform bill is among the most important: what to name it. It’s a decision that will bruise egos, create legacies and deeply affect subsequent messaging battles. “Every time the bill is mentioned in the press, you either have a brand that´s positive or a brand that doesn´t mean anything or even hurts you,” said Frank Sharry, the executive director of the pro-immigration reform group America’s Voice. The wrong name, he warned, could doom a good bill. “If there´s not a

Don’t hide behind a procedural action to prevent a vote. That’s the wrong thing to do, and that’s how the president clearly feels.”

However, any deal could be derailed by the looming threat of a Republican filibuster involving Texas Sen. Ted Cruz. With Cruz standing proudly in the way of any gun legislation, Democrats are trying to make him pay a political price — and even a couple of high-profile Republicans are questioning his tactics.

Margaret Thatcher had more impact on the world than any woman ruler since Catherine the Great of Russia. Not only did she turn around—decisively—the British economy in the 1980s, she also saw her methods copied in more than 50 countries. "Thatcherism" was the most popular and successful way of running a country in the last quarter of the 20th century and into the 21st. Her origins were humble. Born Oct. 13, 1925, she was the daughter of a grocer in the Lincolnshire town of Grantham. Alfred Roberts was no ordinary shopkeeper.
