White House refuses to hand over
secret documents on drone killings
to ´ensure the confirmation of

Daily Mail [UK], by Daniel Bates

Original Article

The Obama administration is refusing to hand over full details of its targeted killing programme in order to ensure John Brennan takes up his post as head of the CIA, according to a report. The White House is said to be considering handing over details of the Benghazi scandal to Republicans rather than give up the secrets of its drone strikes. The move is infuriating Democrats who have long called for full disclosure of classified legal memos in relation to targeted killings. nstead President Obama seems content to risk their wrath to win more support for Mr Brennan.

Isn´t it wonderful living under a dictatorship. s/o 0bama is one of the most arrogant, power hungry narcissists I have ever seen.

What´s funny is Brennan was in the loop when waterboarding went on and it doesn´t bother the left one bit. Brennan claims he didn´t participate in waterboardings,it more or less happened in a room down he hall.

Perhaps the Nobel committee would like to reconsider that Peace Prize?

Or is it...

Waterboarding - bad, killing children with drone strikes - good?

A revealing reminder of the provincial, bubbled leftists that run our media can be found in an NBC News piece profiling Olympic gold medal skier David Wise. NBC informs us in its headline that what led Wise to Olympic gold was his "alternative lifestyle." NBC was apparently surprised to learn that at 23 years-old, Wise is already a husband and father. At such a young age, Wise has the lifestyle of an adult. He wears a Baby Bjorn baby carrier around the house. He also attends church regularly and says he could see himself becoming a pastor a little later down the

Most publications would be wary of letting the public know that politicians are in their corner, much less falling all over themselves to welcome them to the fight down in Texas. Translation: We have a shared purpose. GO TEAM! What a disturbing concept of journalism. News publications are not supposed to have the same purpose as politicians, nor are they supposed to be on the same team. Last I checked, they were supposed to inform, and the reporters were not to get too deeply enamored with their sources. But not Breitbart News. Bring on the BIG love no matter who it is

LINCOLN, Neb. — A judge has struck down a Nebraska law that allowed the Keystone XL oil pipeline to proceed through the state. Lancaster County Judge Stephanie Stacy issued a ruling Wednesday that invalidated Nebraska Gov. Dave Heineman’s approval of the route. Stacy says the decision should have been made by the Nebraska Public Service Commission, which regulates pipelines and other utilities. The ruling could cause more delays in finishing the pipeline, which would carry oil from Canada to Texas refineries. But it’s a win for Nebraska-based pipeline opponents. They’ve argued that Heineman exceeded his authority when he approved the route in

Attorney General Eric Holder flubbed a question from Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) that is of vital importance to the rule of law. While the Constitution allows – and sometimes requires – executive action on many matters, President Barack Obama has asserted executive authority in unprecedented ways. When Lee asked why one of Obama’s orders does not violate the Constitution, Holder – the chief legal officer of the nation – had no answer. During a Senate oversight hearing, Lee asked Holder by what legal authority Obama suspended Obamacare’s employer mandate, which covers all companies with 50 or more employees. Holder admitted that he

The abject naiveté with which President Barack Obama’s administration approached America’s relationship with Russia after coming to power was timidly underscored by its campaign-like slogan: “Reset.” In theory, this “reset” was to be an abandonment of the confrontational, “cowboy” diplomacy of the Bush years, but in practice it amounted to excess deference to Moscow and the creation of space designed to allow the Kremlin to pursue what it regards as its national interests. The abandonment of American interests in an effort to provide Moscow with reparations for the perceived offenses of the previous eight years has evolved from puerile and

In the weeks since the so-called “Hillary Papers” hit media outlets, many on the left have been complaining that discussion of Bill Clinton’s affairs is sexist. Those recently published papers included documents and personal diaries from Hillary Clinton’s late-friend Diane Blair. Tonight on The Kelly File, Megyn Kelly spoke to a former President Clinton aide who claims he sexually harassed her. Her name came up in the Hillary Papers, when a then-little known journalist, Matt Drudge, wrote a report about Kathleen Willey. Willey believes President Clinton’s misconduct is relevant to Hillary’s potential presidential run. “Hillary Clinton is the war on women, and I

The Providence College Black Studies Program e-mailed students, faculty, and administrators Tuesday to renew an award called the Trayvon Martin Award for Social Justice. The award honors those who have shown leadership and commitment to ”challenging and eliminating racism” and “empowering others to seek social justice,” said the e-mail obtained by The Daily Caller. The award was created in 2012 to honor the 17-year-old African American who was shot by George Zimmerman, a neighborhood watch volunteer, in Florida. Though Zimmerman was widely accused of racial profiling, the jury ultimately found him not guilty of murder.

The Democrats have built their entire midterm strategy on an economic populism focused around the minimum wage as a way to both cudgel Republicans and distract from ObamaCare’s woes — it’s much too late to turn back now, not even for a super official, nonpartisan report confirming many of the plan’s negative effects on the job market and those in poverty to which Republicans have been pointing. There´s a debate going on about Hillary Clinton´s past. If she runs for president in 2016, should Republicans reach back to the scandals of her years as First Lady? Or should they focus on more recent times, especially her tenure as Secretary of State, to build a case against her? The GOP doesn´t have to choose. Of course Clinton´s recent experiences are relevant to a presidential run. But so are her actions in the 90s, the 80s and even the 70s. It´s not ancient history; it reveals something about who Clinton was and still is. And re-examining her past is entirely consistent with practices in recent campaigns. In the 2012 presidential race,

The weirdest thing about John Kerry´s weekend speech on climate-change—other than the fact that this is the same guy who in 1997 voted to forbid the U.S. from signing the Kyoto Protocol—is that it begins by quoting something Maurice Strong said at the U.N.´s 1992 Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro: "Every bit of evidence I´ve seen persuades me that we are on a course leading to tragedy." Maurice who? Mr. Strong, a former oil executive from Canada (he was Pierre Trudeau´s pick to run state-owned Petro-Canada in the mid-1970s), was for many years the U.N.´s ultimate mandarin.

Who died and made John Kerry an Islamic scholar? U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry spent part of his Sunday in his stocking feet at an Indonesian mosque, at one point beating a huge drum used to call Muslims to prayer. WASHINGTON, D.C., February 17, 2014 – President Barack Obama has elevated the right to have sex with a member of the same sex to the level of universal “fundamental freedoms” in a new presidential statement criticizing Uganda. But critics say his promotion of homosexuality in a continent that overwhelmingly opposes that behavior amounts to a form of liberal “cultural imperialism.” Obama wrote on Sunday that he opposed a proposed bill in Uganda that would criminalize same-sex “marriages” and impose life imprisonment for repeated homosexual acts, among other provisions, because “as a country and a people, the United States has consistently
