Understanding the GOP’s
Benghazi Obsession

Time Magazine, by Michael Crowley

For the past five months, the Republican message on foreign policy message has been defined by a single word: Benghazi. Ever since the deadly September 11 attack on the U.S. compound in that Libyan city, Republicans have obsessed over the episode. Mitt Romney made Benghazi a favorite talking point in the 2012 campaign home stretch. More recently, Republicans have invoked Benghazi to shoot down one would-be cabinet nominee, Susan Rice, and delay two others, Chuck Hagel and John Brennan. They have dragged a parade of administration officials, including Hillary Clinton

Comments:
You can tell this has Barry and his media lackeys nervous. This is a whitewash piece which pretty much acknowledges the incompetence and subsequent cover-up, but then wonders why people insist on getting to the bottom of it.
America better keep up the pressure because this stinks.

GOP trying to get the truth out of the Dems about a scandal is called an Obsession.

Media covering for said Dems should be called a disgrace.

Remember the Valerie Plane affair? That was a complete pseudo-scandal made up out of whole cloth by leftists within our government - an investigation initiated without an underlying crime - a complete farce and total witch hunt, and these clowns have the nerve to ask what the GOP´s obsession is ?
We have credible evidence of the POTUS and Sec. State, both with documented histories of lying to the public, conspiring to cover-up the murder of several U.S. citizens, including an ambassador, to conceal the fact that their policies have failed and that they ignored warnings of the attacks. Bill and Hillary got away with the flight 800 cover-up, Barry and Hillary ought not skate away from this.

Can we all go back and remember the fuss, obsession of Valerie Plame? Absolutely nothing there. Nothing. Here four people died including an Ambassador. What is wrong with these people.

But nothing was described or explained as though we ALL know exactly the incident that the author refers to because it´s been explained so well so many times.

What a load of hogwash.

We must accept the fact that our president cares nothing about those Americans killed in Benghazi - one ambassador, one consulate employee, two CIA operatives that were former Seals. Obama does not care about anyone other than his daughters and Valerie Jarrett. He only cares about his own power.

The legacy media is beginning to admit to themselves they have been duped and used. It´s too late for them to do the right thing.

As for Hillary, she cares only about her political future. She has no value and will be almost 70 years old, older than Goofus Biden, when she hopes to run form president. An old white Democrat surrounded by more old white Democrats.

It is becoming more and more clear Obama does not plan to leave in 2016.

First, Obama and Clinton denied our people any security in a nation that barely had a government and had a violent revolution. That is a gross violation of common sense and worthy of a charge of homicide against those that refused to provide any security and for Clinton because of her refusal to do her job.

While our people were under attack no effort was made to rescue them despite the fact that we had jets 1 hour away in Italy. Someone told our on the scene Seals to stand down and do nothing while our people were murdered. Obama even fired an admiral and general for refusing to obey an order to provide no help. Lastly, even though Obama knew that our people were being murdered, he got good night’s sleep. Clinton was right about 3 AM phone calls.

After the attack Obama´s primary concern was preventing knowledge of his failures from affecting his reelection. He spent weeks lying about a video. He lied again in the debate when he claimed that he called it a terrorist attack. Then there was his promise to make the attackers pay for these murders. It was a lie. Obama doesn´t want to catch them. He must be afraid of what these terrorists will say? Was Obama providing weapons to Al Qaeda? Did they use the weapon Obama provided to murder our people? Judging on Obama´s past actions, such as fast and furious, you have to expect the worst from Obama.

So in light of these failures and the murders of our people why hasn’t Time and the rest of the Obama media asked any questions of Obama? Why haven’t they investigated this disaster? The answer is that they aren’t reporters anymore. They belong to the Goebbels school of journalism now.

Ahmed is not suspected of directly taking part in the attack which left four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens, dead.
