Broadcast Networks Largely Ignore
Jesse Jackson, Jr. Indictment

Breitbart´s Big Journalism, by Warner Todd Huston

A survey of the big three networks showed news coverage of the indictment of former Chicago Democrat Congressman Jesse Jackson, Jr. was sparse to non-existent for the first three days after the indictment was made public. Even when his trouble was reported, the fact that he is a Democrat went unmentioned. Jackson was indicted on Friday, February 15, but ABC, CBS, and NBC didn´t seem interested in covering the story. In fact, a survey of the coverage found that the networks gave the story scant attention that Friday and, while there were a few

The only thing that would have been shocking is that if they had covered it 24/7 like they would have had he been a Republican. Isn´t this devastating for this country that this is what we expect from the corrupt media. Surely there is some way to punish them for the abuse of their powers given under the Constitution.

For a Democrat to steal almost a million dollars is not worth reporting by the MSM - but a Republican taking a sip of water during a speech gets 24/7 continuous coverage!

Heading off a lawsuit over compliance with a federal voting rights law, California officials have agreed to help millions of state residents register to vote. Under a deal announced Monday by several voting-rights groups, the state will send voter registration cards to nearly 3.8 million Californians who have applied for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act. The move will ensure that many residents can complete or update their registration in time for the June 3 primary election, representatives of the groups said, and bring the state into compliance with the National Voter Registration Act of 1993. Professional Janitorial Service (PJS), the largest non-union janitorial company in Houston, and the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) haven’t gotten along for seven years. The company is currently suing SEIU for $9 million, alleging that the union has repeatedly slandered it. But on three recent occasions, SEIU representatives accompanied federal safety inspectors to examine PJS cleaning sites, says Evelyn Meza, the human-resources manager for PJS.
