Obama’s obedient lap dog
New York Post, by Michael Goodwin

Original Article

Posted By:StormCnter, 2/20/2013 5:12:15 AM

Members of the national media are never so unattractive as when they turn the spotlight on themselves, and their weekend hissy fit after President Obama ignored them proves the point. It was the equivalent of a lovers’ quarrel over leaving the cap off the toothpaste tube. It makes for juicy gossip among the neighbors, but ultimately, nobody really cares. Yet WaWaWa went the wail when the White House press corps traveled to Florida and couldn’t get a staged picture of Obama playing golf with Tiger Woods. The First Duffer wouldn’t even reveal his score. The outrage! The drama!

Now the bizarre reason for a lot of these media folks being concerned about Obama golfing with Woods is because he´s in the 1%. That never crossed my mind but the left´s watchdogs on that group of people, keeps them up at night.

The fact that Woods was a serial cheater and made an international ass out of his wife doesn´t bother them one bit.

We have agents of propaganda disguised as reporters who have done an immeasurable amount of harm to this nation. However, they will regain their vicious objectivity as soon as there is a Republican in the White House if that ever happens again.

Not about 1%. Obama plays with them all of the time. Only room for one star. Obama has a lousy golf game and didn´t want to be one upped. Tiger has his own problems; doesn´t need any more by being associated with Obama publicly and Reggie Love is there.

Here´s something of a bit more import:

WHO gave the orders to "Stand Down" during the Benghazi Massacre, and WHY?

Too difficult a subject for "American Journalists" it seems.

FTA: "By settling for the scoops he wanted them to have, they signaled that they were more lapdogs than watchdogs. They sold out for unrequited love."

By changing ´they´ to ´he´, the last line is so evident of the purpose of the ´golf trip´ that nothing need be added.

Good point, #9.

We have to stop thinking of the press corps and "journalists" as somehow different from LoFos. They are as clueless and vapid as the ignorant uneducated masses whose greatest interests lie not in hard work and real truth, but in the sensational and the shallow.

Conservatives have not only to find a way to educated or at least tolerate the ignorant masses, but to get them out of high places and to begin re-educating America.

It is clear both news-types and LoFos, of which there is almost a majority now, have no idea how the economy would prosper or how the culture would improve if allowed to. And that is why the rest of us need a strong, new, courageous leader. The others have failed us.

Good luck with getting the answers anytime soon. Dictators always conceal their private lives and true natures from the prying eyes of the masses. I wouldn´t want to be a journalist in todays world. I´ve heard of liberals just ignoring a conservative at work - making it quite miserable because they would all go out for lunch together and, because of politics, leave her out. There´s something broken. I have extremely liberal friends, we just don´t discuss politics at all. The press is all part of this - it took more than 40 years to fill the ranks of the school system with just liberals and the law schools to boot. Where are the watch dogs? Oh, wait, that only happens if there´s a Republican President.

AUSTIN — A Texas judge was expected to seat a grand jury Monday in an investigation into whether Gov. Rick Perry abused his power by vetoing funding for public corruption prosecutors last year. Special State District Judge Bert Richardson was to oversee the impaneling in Austin. The governor’s office didn’t return messages seeking comment, but The Austin-American Statesman and KVUE-TV reported that Perry took the unusual step of hiring a criminal defense attorney to represent him. The attorney, David Botsford, did not return calls from The Associated Press seeking comment. In June, the governor threatened to veto funding approved by the Texas Legislature

A Texas man was sentenced yesterday to 18 months in state prison for urinating on the Alamo. Daniel Athens, a 23-year-old El Paso resident, pleaded guilty earlier this year to a criminal mischief charge in connection with the April 2012 incident at the Texas shrine. While Athens could have faced a maximum of two years in custody, a plea deal saved him up to six months in custody. Athens was also ordered to pay $4000 in restitution by District Judge Ray Olivarri. Since Athens is not eligible for parole, he will have to serve the entirety of his 18-month sentence. As detailed

When I first started hearing people on the political left describe themselves with some frequency as progressive back in the 1990s, the term did not seem tethered to the epoch-defining, early-20th-century spasm of moral crusading and government centralization that helped give us everything from trust busting to Prohibition to the Federal Reserve. As articulated by champions like Ralph Nader and Molly Ivins, the progressive label was both a way to get out from under the generation-old baggage of liberal-a term Ronald Reagan and others had turned into an epithet-and to differentiate lefties from seemingly apologetic triangulators like Bill Clinton and

For political junkies desperate for clues to the hottest House, Senate and governors’ races around the country, April is the cruelest month. While Illinois and Texas primaries were held last month, the 48 remaining state contests don’t start up again for three weeks. Here’s the good news for those of us hoping to determine whether Democrats or Republicans will be celebrating in the fall: From early May to early September, we’ll have a steady stream of conventions, primaries and runoffs to keep us busy. Bad as Obama’s poll numbers are, they bode worse for Congressional Democrats. Obama is being buoyed by continued strong support from Democrat voters. The problem for Congressional Democrats is that November’s election outcome will not be determined in Democrat strongholds. Recent Quinnipiac polling data (released April 2, of 1,578 registered voters nationwide, with a MOE of +/-2.5%) showed the president with a deeply negative rating on his handling of the economy: 40% approval and 55% disapproval. Although the Civil Rights Act, the landmark legislation which just reached its 50th anniversary, made great strides in desegregating the economy, economic discrimination is still widespread, and anti-discrimination legislation alone can never rectify the economic damage inflicted upon blacks by slavery and our Jim Crow apartheid regime. The Civil Rights Act was a mild reform, all things considered, but one conservatives fought with vigor and one many conservatives are still bitter about to this day. When the Civil Rights Act passed in 1964, the primary purpose was to root out discrimination in public accommodations (like hotels and movie theaters)

Western Washington University sent a questionnaire to students asking them for advice on how the administration could succeed at making sure that in future years, “we are not as white as we are today.” The question notes that WWU’s racial make up does not perfectly reflect the nation at large, and asks students to consider strategies that other universities have used to focus on skin color as the paramount indicator of a student-applicant’s worth. The president of WWU has stated that his explicit goal is to reduce the white population on campus, according to Campus Reform. “I’ve said before and I’ll say it

Hank Aaron’s recent comments about the need for America to realize that racism is still very much alive and thriving — only now due to those who wear “neckties and starched shirts” rather than KKK hoods — has sparked an angry backlash and many fans are turning the tables, calling the baseball legend himself a racist. “Hank Aaron is a s*****g piece of [expletive] [racial slur],” one man said in an email to the Atlanta Braves’ front office, one of the teams Mr. Aaron used to play for, CBS News reported. “My old man instilled in my mind from a

Funny question in the headline, yes? But since President Obama worries more about the threat of terrorists´ improvised nuclear device going off in a major American city than anything Russia can throw at us, I was wondering if the government had deigned to share with us citizens any tips for, you know, surviving something their own intelligence points to as the likeliest unlikely Black Swan event. Well, no. And yes. No — very few people in Washington, D.C., who work for the government have any idea what they would do if a 10-kiloton nuclear device exploded at the intersection of 16th and K

Megyn Kelly’s "Kelly File" is a great news show. She’s incisive, informed and customarily handles the toughest guest with aplomb. But her lengthy interview of Facebook C.O.O. Sheryl Sandberg about her second book in the Lean In series Lean In: For Graduates was a head shaker. Amazing that she of all people allowed Sandberg to restring the same old, same old, shamed, and shopworn feminist myths about women and girls and then jangle it in front of her viewing audience like something new out of the box. Indeed Kelly all but genuflected in front of this woman. Kept her on thru

When President Obama needed a preacher to fulfill the closing prayer duties at the annual White House Easter Prayer Breakfast, he turned to none other than the Episcopal Church’s first openly gay bishop — who said he was as shocked as anyone at the appointment. The Right Rev. Gene Robinson said in a tweet, accompanied by a photo of Mr. Obama behind a podium at the event: “POTUS ‘preaches’ at the Easter prayer breakfast. Then, out of the blue, asks ME to close with prayer. OMG!” Newsmax said he also emphasized that the words he chose to close the breakfast

President Obama pulled a surprise move Monday at the White House’s Easter Prayer Breakfast when he selected Gene Robinson to lead the closing prayer. Robinson is famously known as the first openly gay Episcopal bishop. Talking Points Memo’s Tom Kludt spotted the following tweet from Robinson, who was in attendance: (Tweet) Robinson, 66, became diocesan bishop of New Hampshire in March 2004. He retired in January 2013 and is currently a senior fellow at the progressive

A Russian fighter jet made multiple, close-range passes near an American warship in the Black Sea for more than 90 minutes Saturday amid escalating tensions in the region, a U.S. military official said Monday. In the first public account of the incident, the official said the Russian Fencer flew within 1,000 yards of the USS Donald Cook, a Navy destroyer, at about 500 feet above sea level. Ship commanders considered the actions provocative and inconsistent with international agreements, prompting the ship to issue several radio queries and warnings. The fighter appeared to be unarmed and never was in danger of
