Tiger just erased any remaining reason to respect him at all. Cavorting with hot women is understandable from the alpha male perspective, cavorting with malicious liars who´ve conned their way into power they should never have, is not.

What matters?! He´s a one trick pony, a golfing savant. Digging up gpa´s is meaningless, particularly when one considers what an uninteresting, dull person he´s always been when he opens his mouth.

It´s clear you´re as unwilling to admit his faults as I am to put him on a pedestal for what he´s accomplished. You say his winning is all that matters, I say he´s a terrible person. Looking forward to disagreeing again, Woods isn´t disappearing anytime soon.

The gpa was cited in direct response to the claim that Tiger is an idiot, given he barely tolerates the simplistic questions put to him by sports writers, many of whom have never excelled in any sport. Tiger is a phenom because he is the best at his profession, and not because he´s a great orator, role model, husband, etc. I´ll be glad when he gets back into his rythm of winning 1 of every 3 tourneys he enters while setting new golfing records.

#18, I went to Penn State(no jokes, please ) with several guys from my home area whe were on the football team. A couple of names you;d know as they are now NFL players.
Trust me when I tell you that what the GPA is said to be, and what it SHOULD be are two very very different things......
But I do concede that at least we can SEE Tiger´s.

My college roomates and classmates were All-Americans in football and other sports and my brother played a couple of seasons in the NFL so I am way too familiar with GPA´s and star atheletes, and how some are even sent to junior college mills to "qualify" to enter major universities...most, however, have been placed in sociology, p.e., or criminal justice, majors to coast through...Tiger chose economics?

I can think of a lot of other billionaires and successful people who dropped out or didn´t do well in college and went on to become dominant figures their fields (IT, finance, campaign management), with many of them lacking the so-called normal people or communications skills...

Everything else aside, I think it is a wonderful statement that you, and obvious Ohio State man, and I whom openly admitted to being a PSU´er are able to have such am amicable conversation!!!!!
