| President Obama´s super-secret practice of golfing just with donors, friends and underlings is coming under fire from an unsual source: Former Newsweek Assistant Managing Editor Evan Thomas. The Daily Beast contributor who once called Obama a "sort of God" is blasting the president for being "cocky," "peevish," "crotchety," and "self-involved," when it comes to dealing with Congress and he recommends an about-face to being more like laid-back former President Dwight Eisenhower. Writing in Washingtonian, Thomas, the author of a new Ike biography, advised Obama to kiss up to lawmakers, maybe even golf with a few,

By "cocky", are we referring to the secret time that Obama spent with his lover, Reggie Love? This is what the press was barred from, and why the WH press corps wrote so much about Tiger Woods. There was a tiger in Obama´s tank this weekend, and it was due to Reggie, his former and current body man.
It´s time to start referring to Obama as either bisexual or homosexual in order to protect the country from his being blackmailed (can I say that) by an enemy of our country. If his sexual preferences are transparent, the opportunity to threaten to expose him declines.

It´s worth it to "read the whole thing" in Washingtonian. Ike was a very good president, who kept us out of war...e.g. Suez. He worked well with Congress, unlike the current WH occupant.
O´s untreated narcisism prevents him from any empathy toward Boehner, McConnell or other republicans. Over time, watch for dems to become more distant from Obama, as they fend for themselves.

If he does I hope it is at Congressional Golf Course and not on the military course at Andrews AFB where our troops pay his greens fees with their recreation and morale funds.

Hundreds of illegal immigrants with criminal records were released earlier this year as the Obama administration prepared for budget cuts, according to newly released data that challenged claims the program involved "low-risk" individuals. Immigration and Customs Enforcement released the figures to two top senators, after a three-month delay and under the threat of congressional subpoenas. Of the 2,226 detainees that were released in February, the department revealed, "622 have been identified as having some type of criminal conviction."

As I´ve written before, President Obama and his Justice Department have no problems with national security leaks so long as they make Obama look good. i.e. the Osama bin Laden raid. For the past week, outrage has been expressed from Democrats and Republicans over the DOJ secretly monitoring the personal and work phones of Associated Press reporters. The monitoring was prompted by a national security leak. Speaking about the monitoring earlier this week, Attorney General Eric Holder made it a point to stress how "serious" of a leak this was. "It´s in the top two or three most serious

The U.S. military has updated plans to "capture or kill" alleged perpetrators of the deadly terror attack on the American diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya, CNN has learned. The development comes amid growing pressure on the White House to show progress in the effort to catch those who killed Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans last September 11. Officials emphasize that military planning has been underway since the immediate aftermath of the armed assault. One part of the plan calls for potentially putting U.S. military personnel on the ground inside Libya,

WASHINGTON – DEVELOPING: The IRS official who led the tax-exempt organizations unit when Tea Party groups were targeted is now in charge of the IRS office responsible for ObamaCare, two Capitol Hill sources tell Fox News. The acknowledgement fueled criticism of the agency and led one prominent Republican senator to call for the IRS to be blocked from implementing the health care law. In a statement from Texas Sen. John Cornyn touting his plan to block the IRS from receiving money to implement part of the health care law, he said "now more than ever,

Rep. The Pentagon for the first time has officially recognized transgender service members in a significant step being hailed by the LGBT community. The acknowledgement came in the form of a letter to veteran and transgender activist Autumn Sandeen confirming that the Navy had updated its records to show she is a woman. While still a long way from open transgender service in the military, OutServe-SLDN, an organization for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender service members and their families labeled the move ´symbolic.´ The letter from the Navy official, dated May 2, read:

The Justice Department temporarily lost track of two known or suspected terrorists who were in the witness protection program -- and allowed others on the no-fly list to board commercial flights -- according to a watchdog report which fueled criticism of the administration. The allegations were made in an inspector general report released Thursday. The report found agencies in the department did not properly share the new identities of some in witness

WASHINGTON – As second top Internal Revenue Service official has announced plans to leave the agency amid the controversy over the targeting of tea party groups. An internal IRS memo says Joseph Grant, commissioner of the agency´s tax exempt and government entities division, will retire June 3. Grant joins Steven Miller, who was forced to resign as acting IRS commissioner on Wednesday. As part of his duties, Grant oversaw the IRS division that targeted tea party groups for additional scrutiny when they applied for tax-exempt status. Grant joined the IRS in 2005.

Olson represents Koch Industries and in February of 2012 wrote an opinion piece in The Wall Street Journal accusing President Obama of creating an ‘enemies list.’ Olson told Megyn Kelly his original motivation for writing the piece. “We were concerned with an orchestrated campaign starting at the very top of the White House to attack and disparage the Koch family and their enterprises.” “In this country, it’s fundamental to our Constitution,

As the nation’s top law enforcement official, Eric Holder is privy to all kinds of sensitive information. But he seems to be proud of how little he knows. Why didn’t his Justice Department inform the Associated Press, as the law requires, before pawing through reporters’ phone records? “I do not know,” the attorney general told the House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday afternoon, “why that was or was not done. I simply don’t have a factual basis to answer that question.” Why didn’t the DOJ seek the AP’s cooperation, as the law also requires, before issuing subpoenas? “I don’t know

Nice try, Mr. President. Feigning anger, firing an unknown bureaucrat and fleeing the podium won’t cut it with voters, or stop the hemorrhaging of the scandals that have spawned a Watergate-like feel around the Obama administration. There was a certain panicky look about the way the president quickly delivered a rare evening White House statement to try to quell the growing outrage over the IRS targeting of Tea Party groups. The move showed how damaging the scandal has become to Obama’s second term and maybe even his presidency. But Obama took no questions and, more importantly,

WASHINGTON – State Department officials repeatedly objected to -- and tried to water down -- references to Al Qaeda and prior security warnings in Libya in the Obama administration´s initial internal story-line on the Benghazi terror attack, according to dozens of emails and notes released by the White House late Wednesday. The documents were released under pressure after whistle-blowers testified on the Hill and some email excerpts leaked to the media last week. The 100-page file showed that State Department officials were even more heavily involved in editing the "talking points" than was previously known.

The White House on Wednesday released 94 pages of emails between top administration and intelligence officials who helped shape the talking points about the attacks in Benghazi, Libya, that the CIA would provide to policymakers in both the legislative and executive branches. The documents, first reported by THE WEEKLY STANDARD in articles here and here, directly contradict claims by White House press secretary Jay Carney and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton that the revisions of those talking points were driven by the intelligence community and show heavy input from top Obama administration officials, particularly those at the State Department.

That they see a president who´s very vulnerable politically. Is there a danger that they will overreach?" Chief White House correspondent Chuck Todd agreed with the slanted premise: "There is. STANDING BEFORE reporters Thursday, President Obama declined an invitation to compare the recent scandals weighing down his administration with those that forced President Nixon to resign in 1974. So allow us to do the work for him: There is no comparison. Nixon, in a series of crimes that collectively came to be known as Watergate, directed from the White House and Justice Department a concerted campaign against those he perceived as political enemies, in the process subverting the FBI, the IRS, other government agencies and the electoral process to his nefarious purposes. Mr. Obama has done nothing of the kind.

Washington -- The Internal Revenue Service has identified two "rogue" employees in the agency´s Cincinnati office as being principally responsible for "overly aggressive" handling of requests by conservative groups for tax-exempt status, a congressional source told CNN. In a meeting on Capitol Hill, acting IRS Commissioner Steven Miller described the employees as being "off the reservation," according to the source. It was not clear precisely what the alleged behavior involved. Miller said the staffers have already been disciplined, according to another source familiar with Miller´s discussions with congressional investigators.

CARACAS, Venezuela — First milk, butter, coffee and cornmeal ran short. Now Venezuela is running out of the most basic of necessities — toilet paper. Blaming political opponents for the shortfall, as it does for other shortages, the embattled socialist government says it will import 50 million rolls to boost supplies. That was little comfort to consumers struggling to find toilet paper on Wednesday. "This is the last straw," said Manuel Fagundes, a shopper hunting for tissue in downtown Caracas. "I´m 71 years old and this is the first time I´ve seen this." One supermarket visited by The Associated Press
