There was a article online about a year ago that Jenny Beth Martin had raised the most money of all the national Tea Party movements, but that she had been accused of not being a good steward of those donations. I haven´t given to the Patriots since. I get multiple mailings each month asking for money and at least one email a week from the TPPatriots. It would help if she sent out a report of how donations would be budgeted and a record showing how past donations have been spent. We are talking about a large amount of money that has been raised since the inception of the organization. I consider this just her latest gimmick.

Michael Pfleger, the controversial Catholic priest who made racial remarks about Hillary Clinton and defended Louis Farrakhan, has been removed as a keynote speaker at a diversity day event sponsored by a federal government agency. Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”

Newtown killer Adam Lanza may have launched his murder spree at Sandy Hook Elementary School as an “act of revenge,” the Daily News has learned.
