He is madly playing for sympathy, telling crowds, “I am equally aware that God forgives people who are imperfect.” This raises the question as to whether the people of South Carolina should forgive him, and moreover, whether forgiveness entails entrusting him with a new public office. You might think I´m crazy but it won´t surprise me if he is elected. We live in a time when "tolerance" is our first and foremost attribute. When people vote, displaying their tolerance is more important than considering a candidate´s ability or character. Obama (our first minority president) was elected to a second term after a disastrous first term and
Hillary (who would be our first female president) - a woman without ethics or integrity - is more popular than all other contenders.

Great! Is Ms Rubin going to write about Alcee Hasting, convicted on eight articles and removed from office as federal judge? Today he sits in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Marion Barry as mayor of Washington D.C. was charged with three felony counts of perjury, possession, etc.
The D.C. city council still endorsed him, but he was found guilty and sentenced to six months in the Federal pen. He later became mayor of D.C. again.
Jesse Jackson Jr. pleaded guilty and will probably serve some time. Bet on Chicago will returning him to the House of Representatives.

At least three, according to the Government Accountability Office, which on Tuesday released its 2013 report on fragmentation and duplication of federal programs. This year´s report -- there were two previous editions of the report first requested by Sen.
