I disagree, the Republican party is stronger at the local level then the national party, so why should I think national intervention would help?

Akin was Claire McCaskill´s candidate. O´Donnell and Angle were just nuttier than can be. I´ve always felt the problem is turnout. Primary turnout is usually so low a fringe candidate can rally a small group of supporters and win.

We need fewer Karl Roves, IMHO.

How many tea party candidates won and how many lost. The focus is always on Angle, Aikin and O´Donnell. Karl Rove is a tub of lard desperate to stay in the lime light.

Instead of always blaming the right, how about pointing fingers to the real enemies on the left. We all know the left is dirty and the media knows how to destroy. Angle lost when Reid imported the union vote to Nevada. O´Donnell did herself a disfavor by acting naive. Once that happened the media took over her campaign. Akin should have never been on the ticket. Some blame goes to the GOP but more to McCaskill who did what she had to do to keep her seat. Let´s face it, the Dems do a better job of finding ways to win.
It´s time to toughen up and turn the page.

Excuse me Karl, but Todd Akin did win general elections since he was in the U.S. House of Representatives for 12 years. I´m not saying Akin was the Senate candidate I wanted but Karl Rove speculating on Akin´s murder is beyond the pale. I simply won´t support Rove people.

One question for Mr. Rove, was W a conservative? The answer is all I need to know about his agenda.

Don´t consultants like Karl Rove make their money on how much they get others to contribute PLUS all the media buys? Surely he has made enough money by now from the wealthy donors he has shaken down. My big question is these wealthy donors aren´t stupid men...pretty soon they are going to want some action for their money...not just Karl´s dud candidates who don´t win.

No argument with Karl on the need to vet candidates. The argument is about who should do the vetting.

I did not like the way that increasingly obnoxious little Chris Wallace purposely set Rove up this morning to let him answer and frame his critics. When he bragged about supporting Rubio? Well duh with the other alternative being Charlie Crist, wow, hard decision!!! Karl is one desperate-looking, bing, walking talking point. Stick a fork in him. He is done.

Rove, you helped destroy O´Donnell prior to the election with your loud mouth on national TV because she beat your $$$$$$$$$ man. Now, instead of always talking about Murdock and Akin, Rove should mention the 10 to 12 he endorsed who LOST in the general. The only 3 new Senators inducted as a result of the 2012 election were endorsed by Gov. Palin and the T.E.A. movement participants with the establishment/elites/Rove endorsing their peer in the primary, i.e., Dewherst.

Someone here referenced Angle. Let´s remember: the establishment candidate in Nevada suggested bartering chickens to pay for medical care. There was no good candidate in that primary.
