That Ted Cruz Is So Canadian
PJ Media, by Matt Vespa

As Bryan Preston and Stephen Kruiser noted last week, the liberal media has mounted a campaign to destroy Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas). He’s a high priority target because he goes against everything the media has said about the Tea Party, and conservatism in general. For all the talk about the Tea Party’s anti-intellectualism, Cruz received his B.A. at Princeton University, and his Juris Doctor at Harvard University. He also clerked for Chief Justice William Rehnquist. As George Will wrote back in June of 2011, By the time Ted Cruz was 13, he was winning speech

McCain, in Hagel´s hearing try to stiffle Cruz as well with his agreeing with Nelson´s comments to Cruz. I would imagine he would have like to use the term "hobbits" again as he did in the well of the Senate, referencing the Conservatives/Tea Party members.
McCain leaned way right 6 months prior to re-election, but immediately back to his old ways. This is exactly what Graham is trying to do right now since he is up in 2014.

We need more "Ted Cruzes" in Congress! I am proud to have cast my vote for him in the primary as well as in the general election!

When it comes down to brass tacks, the SCOTUS will rule that if your mother was/is a US citizen then you are ‘Natural Born’ regardless of your place of birth.

Cruz is not inelligible for president. His mother is a US citizen who had lived in the US within the required number of years which makes him a natural born citizen unlike the current occupant to the White Hose.

Remember what Van Jones said recently, "he´s dangerous" for Democrats.

Yes, they see opponents in those terms.

What we need to do is illustrate how those extreme left-wing Democrats (the leadership of the party) are dangerous to average Americans.

It’s a big weekend for the Bush family, which is enjoying a renaissance of sorts after several years in the political wilderness. Throngs of former administration officials, members of Congress and others descended Friday on College Station, Tex., to fete former president George H.W. Bush on the 25th anniversary of his arrival in office. One of the highlights of the weekend will be a live interview with his son, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, who has quietly been exploring a 2016 presidential campaign. About 180 miles to the north, former president George W. Bush is hosting an event of a

Oregon State University, disdaining responsibility for trashing distribution boxes that were intended for a politically conservative student newspaper, has still paid $1,000 plus $100,000 in legal fees after a former student, William Rogers, filed suit against them. The lawsuit, filed in 2009 by supporters of the newspaper The Liberty, contended that the university president and other school officials permitted the official campus newspaper access to distribution bins, but school officials removed the bins for The Liberty. The suit alleged that school officials confiscated distribution bins for The Liberty and tossed them onto a trash heap. The bins, which contained copies

House Republicans have scheduled a vote next week to hold Lois G. Rep. Darrell E. When has a secretary of state been involved in so many disastrous, self-initiated negotiations? First, John Kerry convenes — against all advice and holding no cards — Geneva negotiations to resolve the Syria conflict and supposedly remove Bashar al-Assad from power. The talks collapse in acrimony and confusion. Kerry’s response? A second Geneva conference that — surprise! — breaks up in acrimony and confusion. Then, even as Russian special forces are taking over Crimea, Kerry goes chasing after Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov — first to Paris, then Rome, then London — offering a diplomatic “offramp.” Lavrov shrugs him off.

When his aides get discouraged about the prospects for Middle East peace, Secretary of State John F. The American left is outraged that the Supreme Court has voted 5 to 4 that limits to the aggregate amount of donations to federal campaigns have been found unconstitutional. Prior to the ruling, there was a 123,200 limit ($48,600 for candidates and $74,600 in contributions to PACs) on the total amount a single donor could contribute in a two year federal campaign cycle. The ruling did not affect the existing $2,600 limit on the maximum donation to any Congressional campaign. ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Trying to put Obamacare’s problems behind him, President Obama renewed his election-year push for an increase in the minimum wage Wednesday and the White House urged fellow Democrats to latch on to the issue for their own political gain. Speaking at the University of Michigan, the president again fiercely advocated for a rise in the nation’s minimum wage, trying to keep the issue front and center as the November midterm elections creep closer. “In America, we don’t believe in opportunity for a few — we believe that everybody should have a chance at success,” Mr. Obama

President Obama campaigned in Michigan with Dem Senate candidate Gary Peters, making the case for a hike in the federal minimum wage to $10.10. Unfortunately, the wrangling in the Senate today suggests the idea is going to die. Senator Susan Collins has said she’s trying to craft a bipartisan compromise on the minimum wage that could win Republican support — a compromise that would require hiking the minimum wage to an unspecified point below the $10.10 per hour that Obama and Democrats want. Today Harry Reid ruled out the idea, insisting that Dems won’t agree to anything below $10.10. In

THE SUPREME Court on Wednesday overturned yet another federal law meant to check corruption and influence-peddling in national politics. The ruling shows two things: The Roberts Court’s destructive view on these matters wasn’t changed by the backlash to its Citizens United holding, and Congress must respond by designing new rules that can pass the court’s overly skeptical review. If lawmakers tackle the issue forthrightly, they have some workable options. The court eliminated an overall limit on how much donors could give to candidates, parties and various other committees over the course of an election cycle. The idea had been to
