NYT Goes Birther: Attacks

Breitbart´s Big Journalism, by Tony Lee and Stephen K. Bannon

Liberals, the mainstream media, and establishment Republicans often reveal which conservatives they fear by their level of disdain and vitriol. This week, they put their crosshairs on freshman Texas Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), a Tea Party conservative of Hispanic descent who undermines the mainstream media´s ability to advance their false notion that being a minority and Tea Partier are mutually exclusive. He is a conservative who showed no desire to defer to the Senate´s "courtly" ways, the preferences of the institution´s old bulls. The sinking ship that is the New York Times,

Does the NY Times NOT know that the Muslim Brotherhood is on our TERRORIST list here? And, they hate Jews & Westerners to the point of wanting to kill anyone who won´t go their Sharia Law way? Jackasses.

For this alone, and all of the other reasons they listed, I am so glad I voted for Cruz here in Texas.

We, the People must not let them have their way!

I can´t wait for a good constitutional issue to arise. They are going to attack him for his silly notions that are contrary to what Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi have defined as the law. Then Ted will explain it to them very slowly like you do with grade school students. it is going to be such fun to watch.

I LOVE this guy!! Go Cruz!

I wish I could run for office. I´d fight like Cruz and would never back down either. But I have some baggage that would make it too messy for the GOP or conservatives. I could run as a Democrat (then again my record is too clean for that!), but they wouldn´t like my policies. Besides, I could never sully my name with a dirty "D". Yuck!!

If President Obama’s 2012 campaign was known for anything, it was its voter mobilization operation, said to be the most sophisticated ever assembled in a presidential campaign. Which makes David Plouffe’s comments over the weekend all the more telling for Democrats as they look nervously toward the November midterm elections. When Republican David Jolly defeated Democrat Alex Sink in Florida’s 13th Congressional District a week ago, Democratic leaders explained away the outcome by arguing that the district tilted heavily in favor of the GOP in midterm and especially special elections. Brushing aside President Obama’s threat of more sanctions, Russian President Vladimir Putin annexed the Crimean region of Ukraine on Tuesday with the stroke of a pen, while NATO members criticized Washington for getting caught off guard by Russia’s military buildup. As the Russian national anthem played and cheering lawmakers wept, Mr. Putin and Crimean leaders signed a treaty in Moscow to make Crimea part of the Russian Federation, only two days after the region held a disputed referendum enforced by Russian troops. “In the hearts and minds of people, Crimea has always been and remains an inseparable part of Russia,”

President Obama on Monday slapped Russia with the kinds of economic sanctions not seen since the Cold War, but the administration’s supposed hard line was met with mockery and a “collective shrug” in Moscow, Kiev and Washington. One day after Crimeans voted overwhelmingly to secede from Ukraine and join Russia, the White House and its partners in the European Union responded by targeting high-ranking officials in Moscow along with pro-Russian figures responsible for the unrest in Ukraine. The move adds even more tension to a dramatic standoff between Russia and the West, but early signs suggest the latest round of

Hillary Clinton may well be the most "known" politician in the world. She and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, have been on the national stage for more than two decades -- traveling from Arkansas to the White House to the Senate to the 2008 campaign trail and finally to the State Department. During that time, every look and utterance from Hillary has been examined, then examined again, then analyzed, then overanalyzed. That´s why this series of photos -- shot by LIFE magazine in 1969 as part of a feature on outstanding college students -- is so fascinating. It captures

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia — The search for Malaysia’s missing airliner pushed on Monday across a vast spread of the Indian Ocean into the waters off western Australia as officials here contradicted earlier information that pointed to a planned takeover in the cockpit. The government had previously said that a key satellite communications system had been disabled sometime before the cockpit made final radio contact with air-traffic control — and before Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 disappeared from civilian radar contact on March 8 with 239 passengers and crew members on board. That sequence of events suggested that something suspicious was underway

Listlessness is bad politics. Defensiveness is poor strategy. And resignation is never inspiring. You can feel elements of all three descending around President Obama as he fends off attack after attack from his conservative foes, who vary the subject depending on the day, the circumstance and the opportunity. This sense of drift inspired an explosion over the weekend of disparaging commentary (some of it coming, usually anonymously, from Democrats) about the president’s political infirmities. Obama and his party are in danger of allowing the Republicans to set the terms of the 2014 elections, just as they did four years ago.

Perhaps there is some true justice in the revelation today that Barack Obama, apologist to the world for American greatness, has just given a huge part of that scientific and engineering eminence to a world body that has no legal claim to all that which has come from America’s technological genius. There is growing panic among Democrats in Congress about the 2014 elections, and it is based on numerous factors that give them serious anxiety. In the Senate, Democrat Jeanne Shaheen of New Hampshire just found out that she will be challenged by former Senator Scott Brown of Massachusetts, who has received $600,000 from the Super-Pac American Crossroads, and Democrat Senator Mark Udall of Colorado is now being challenged by Rep. Cory Gardner, a serious threat. In the House, the GOP just won a significant victory in a special election in Florida’s 13th district, which Barack Obama won decisively in 2012.

Someone who is determined to disbelieve something can manage to disregard an Everest of evidence for it. So Barack Obama will not temper his enthusiasm for increased equality with lucidity about the government’s role in exacerbating inequality. In the movie “Animal House,” Otter, incensed by the expulsion of his fraternity, says: “I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture.” Such thinking gives us minimum-wage increases that do very little for very few. Meanwhile, there are farm bills, like the one Obama signed last month at Michigan State University. MSU was one of the models for

A week into the fruitless search for a missing Malaysian airliner, the focus returned to the possibility that a rogue pilot or hijackers took command of the plane as it flew north over the sea toward Beijing.
