| Tracy Schmaler, Attorney General Eric Holder’s top press defender, will resign her position on March 8. This reporter recently caught Schmaler colluding with far leftwing advocacy organization Media Matters for America to attack the reputations of whistleblowers, members of Congress, and people in the new media. People who were targets of the collusion between Department of Justice press aide Schmaler and far leftwing advocacy organizations called for her resignation in September 2012, when evidence of her activity emerged. Now, they are getting their wish. Emails uncovered last year show Schmaler worked with Media Matters to smear people

Using a top government office to collude with radical outside groups should qualify as a crime, not a simple dismissal. Media Matters should lose it´s tax exempt status.I guess even then Soros would just set up another front group.
the whole government is permeated with radicals and crooks now.so when one goes down it´s not even a blip on the screen. She´ll wind up with another job in a different branch.
The wash Post is laying people off right after they hired another Obama flack,Hillary Rosen. It´s no wonder the left believes in recycling.

Collusion (at the very least) with far Left "advocacy" and media is the norm within the Obama administration - the question is: why is no elected GOP representative doing anything about it?

The story goes beyond this despicable women to Obama, who is responsible for this smear campaign of people on his "enemies list". Sadly, the media will not ask Obama a single question about his enemies list. I even doubt that Bill O´Reilly, one of Obama´s many smear targets, reports on this story.
While Schmaler is gone, she surely left her dossiers on hundreds if not thousands of people with another Holder aide. In just a few months, the medical records of Obama´s enemies will be viewed by her replacement via ObamaCare.

I´m waiting for Issa to discover the DOJ atty that is producing racist, race baiting programs that air on the ID Channel. Since the Treyvon Martin case is getting ready for trial soon, they just produced a program that slams all cop shootings of blacks as racial profiling... claiming the Treyvon case is a done deal example of racial profiling.

House Republican leaders on Wednesday criticized President Obama for conditioning the entitlement reforms in his budget on GOP support for higher taxes. While they said Obama “deserves some credit” for including entitlement reforms in his spending blueprint, they said the president shouldn’t hold the plan “hostage” in the debate over tax revenues. “While the president has backtracked on some of his entitlement reforms that were in conversations that we had a year and a half ago, he does deserve some credit for come incremental entitlement reforms that he has outlined in his budget,” Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) told reporters Wednesday

The U.S. Postal Service on Wednesday said it will delay a cost-cutting plan to end Saturday mail delivery, following congressional action that blocked the effort. Congress passed a temporary federal spending bill last month including language that prevents the agency -- which lost $15.9 billion last year -- from going to a Monday-to-Friday mail delivery schedule. The agency, which wanted to begin the new schedule Aug. 5, said the decision was made Tuesday by its board of governors. “By including restrictive language in the Continuing Resolution, Congress has prohibited implementation of a new national delivery schedule,”

President Obama´s budget plan would increase taxes by $580 billion over the next decade, but it relies on many proposals that have been repeatedly rejected by Congress. Some were rejected as recently as January, when Congress voted to make permanent a series of tax cuts first enacted under President George W. Bush. Among them, a proposal to limit itemized deductions for high-income families. One new proposal is a 94 cents-a-pack increase in the cigarette tax. The tax would raise an estimated $78 billion over the next decade to pay for early childhood education.

As we enter day 13,487 with the media obsession over guns, the media can find no room in the 24/7news cycle to give any attention to the harrowing story of Dr. Gosnell, the Philadelphia abortionist on trial for eight murders: A woman who worked at a Philadelphia abortion clinic has testified how she was handed a glass pan carrying a screaming newborn with no eyes or mouth and told to deal with it. Sherry West, who is a witness in the murder trial against her former boss Dr. Kermit Gosnell, said that when the tiny ´specimen´ screamed

PITTSBURGH – Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas said Tuesday he is heartbroken over the persistent poverty and social troubles among many black communities but has no answers on how to solve these problems. Thomas spoke to an appreciative audience at Duquesne Law School in Pittsburgh. The crowd of about 1,200 people responded with both applause and laughter as he discussed politics, the makeup of the Supreme Court, race, and his own struggles to find his path in life. Thomas said he doesn’t bear any ill-will toward other people who hold views sharply different from his.

Two prominent senators announced a proposed compromise Wednesday on the thorny issue of gun background checks, in a bid to ease opposition ahead of a showdown vote in the Senate. Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., and Sen. Pat Toomey, R-Pa., had been meeting for days on the issue and outlined their proposal late Wednesday morning. They pitched a plan to expand background checks for sales at gun shows and online but exempt some other transactions. Currently, the checks are required only for sales handled through licensed gun dealers. The proposal, by two lawmakers who are on the conservative end

PHILADELPHIA — A second Delaware woman who worked at Dr. Kermit Gosnell’s Philadelphia abortion clinic testified Tuesday that it was “standard procedure” to snip the necks of any babies that were delivered after labor-inducing drugs were administered but before the abortion began. Lynda Williams, 44, of Wilmington, said Gosnell taught her how to flip a baby over and snip its neck with a pair of scissors to ensure “fetal demise.” Williams also testified that she followed Gosnell’s orders on one occassion when Gosnell was away either running, swimming or working at a clinic in Delaware, and took a baby

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama said he’d been looking forward to a White House celebration of Memphis soul music for one reason. “Let’s face it, who does not love this music?” he asked Tuesday, opening the night’s concert in an East Room bathed in amber light and transformed by the addition of a stage and backup musicians. “These songs get us on the dance floor,” Obama said. “They get stuck in our heads. We go back over them again and again. And they’ve played an important part in our history.” Memphis, Tenn., was segregated in the 1960s,

Sparks also declined to elaborate on why Maynard was barred from owning a gun. But Maynard´s father has said his son had mental problems and had previously been in an institution.

Hundreds of lucky state employees are opting to jump into retirement before they hit age 50 thanks to loopholes in the law, a Herald review of the latest pension report shows. In the past three years, there have been 475 state workers who retired before age 50 — going into their golden years with full pensions for some and partial payouts for others, a Herald review found. New reforms went into effect for state workers hired after April 2, 2012. Those reforms included increasing the retirement age for new hires and an “anti-spiking” clause preventing future retirees

The murder trial of abortionist Kermit Gosnell largely is being ignored by the mainstream media, even in the face of grisly testimony, such as what we heard yesterday. Life News reports: ...a former employee described how she heard a baby scream during a live-birth abortion. Abortion clinic employee Sherry West described an incident which "really freaked (her) out" and related to the jury how she heard a child who was born alive following an abortion scream.

Beginning a week of high pressure on gun control, the White House on Monday accused some Republican senators of cowardice for planning to filibuster gun legislation without allowing the full Senate to vote on President Obama’s initiatives. “If they oppose this legislation, have the courage to say so on the floor and vote no,” said White House press secretary Jay Carney. “Don’t block it. Don’t hide behind a procedural action to prevent a vote. That’s the wrong thing to do, and that’s how the president clearly feels.”

The sequester may have many across the country singing the blues, but for President Obama, it was all about Memphis Soul. Even with the threat of furloughs and government cuts sparked by the sequester, Obama took the time to enjoy a star-studded concert at the White House tonight. The White House celebration of Memphis Soul music in the East Room--which included special guest appearances by Queen Latifah and Justin Timberlake--is likely to rile Obama´s Republican foes. Some conservatives have called on Obama to give up golf, especially since popular public tours of the White House have been canceled because of

There was growing buzz over the weekend that a bipartisan agreement on gun control — a deal that would expand background checks — could hit the floor as early as this week. However, any deal could be derailed by the looming threat of a Republican filibuster involving Texas Sen. Ted Cruz. With Cruz standing proudly in the way of any gun legislation, Democrats are trying to make him pay a political price — and even a couple of high-profile Republicans are questioning his tactics.

Congress and the American people need to know what happened the night of Sept. 11, 2012. Who did the killing and what was their motive? Why wasn´t help sent? And why did the administration lie about who was responsible? Members of Congress have asked hundreds of questions at hearings conducted by several investigative committees, but many of the most significant have been left unanswered. Margaret Thatcher had more impact on the world than any woman ruler since Catherine the Great of Russia. Not only did she turn around—decisively—the British economy in the 1980s, she also saw her methods copied in more than 50 countries. "Thatcherism" was the most popular and successful way of running a country in the last quarter of the 20th century and into the 21st. Her origins were humble. Born Oct. 13, 1925, she was the daughter of a grocer in the Lincolnshire town of Grantham. Alfred Roberts was no ordinary shopkeeper.

Obama’s ambitious plans to ban assault weapons and limit magazine capacities are off the table, while the NRA suggested it could support the most likely outcome -- expanded background checks -- as recently as 1999. The NRA claims that the president’s efforts have triggered a fundraising surge and boosted its membership from 4 million to nearly 5 million.

Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Kathleen Sebelius conceded Monday that implementing the Affordable Care Act has been more complicated and frustrating than the Obama administration expected, largely due to Republicans who have opposed the law´s state-based exchanges and Medicaid expansion. "The politics has been relentless and that continues," Sebelius said. "There was some hope that once the Supreme Court ruled in July, and then once an election occurred there would be a sense that, ´This is the law of the land, let´s get on board, let´s make this work.´"
