Its hard now to get very excited at these (really) meaningless hearings. Now that we realize Brennan lying (or not) will be confirmed anyway, what does it matter?

So what? He lies. The Democrats have the majority. He gets confirmed.

Brennan is filth. Enemy of the U.S. I´ve observed him on news shows. He does not speak as a friend of U.S. citizens, especially Christians and Jews.

These hearings of Obama´s latest proposed appointees are such Capitol Kabuki. Every single one of them, lying through their teeth. And everyone knows it. Methinks you’re right, #16. Such an oversight would certainly take away the onus of doing their duty, allow them to be more flexible, as the president would say.

Wouldn´t you wish America had conservative mainstream media, where flyover unwashed could have a glimpse of what is happening in politics. Like they do today when they are watching/reading about sports or weather or food and wine and catch a glimpse of fascist/commie lies in local newspapers or TV stations? (Btw, have you noticed how much praise obozo gets on local TV? It never happened before, even in clinton era.)
And the other thought my conspiracy ridden mind returns to all these 3 months after elections: we haven´t heard any explanation that makes sense why repubics lost? I don´t buy that conservatives stayed at home! Not in 2012! Most likely the establishment repubics were threatened that if obozo is not "nominated" there will be riots in the streets. I don´t see another explanation to obozo´s cool, his body language during debates... It´s like he knew the final outcome. And, btw, romney´s refusal to actually debate obozo!

Yes, the media is utterly over the top with their Obama protective mode. They piled on during the Clinton-Monica scandal even, but now they never have any criticism or hard questions for Obie. It is a very different atmosphere for this Prez, and I don´t really get it at all.

As for these hearings, why bother with them? They always are along party lines, not what´s best for the country. Brennan is rough stuff, he will be confirmed, and Obie will run him too. He´ll be glad to do whatever nefarious things he has to in order to kowtow to Obama the Great.

Look -- if they do not abide by the Constitution (which they swore to uphold) why should we expect them to abide by the Ten Commandments?
