The New York metropolitan area, in which the Jets/Giants stadium is located, is pretty efficient at moving millions of people about by mass transit every day. Heck, New York City has about one million schoolchildren, many of whom use public transportation. Then there are the millions of workers who travel every day. The transit folks in that area could give lessons to most other metro areas.
This trip was a boondoggle.

The Navy’s cancellation of Blue Angels 2013 air shows extends past the federal fiscal year ending in September means the November 1-2 Homecoming Show at Pensacola Naval Air Station has been scrapped too. “It’s not just the fiscal year,” said Navy Lt. Aaron Kakiel, spokesman for the Naval Air Forces Command in San Diego. Thus the Navy is also canceling the Blues four air shows in October.
