Truth be told, Dr. Ben Carson is the best one to have the conversation about the importance of education and self reliance, not Obama.
Another thought, perhaps if Rahman hadn´t taken Newark´s police director off Cory Bookers hands as a favor to Oprah´s friend, they might have someone more capable of doing the job. As usual, politics trumps real life needs.

Hadiya was innocent. The hundreds of other murders were of less import because the victims weren´t innocent?

SEOUL, South Korea – North Korea on Tuesday urged all foreign companies and tourists in South Korea to evacuate, saying the two countries are on the verge of nuclear war. The new threat appeared to be an attempt to keep the region on tenterhooks over its intentions. Yet there on the front page of the April 8th New York Times was a story about how unnamed "American officials" were planning a "proportional" response to any North Korean attack. This was spelled in an example: If the North Koreans "shell a South Korean island that had military installations" then the South Koreans would retaliate with "a barrage of artillery of similar intensity." Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church.
