GOP to Menendez:
Happy Valentine´s Day

Philadelphia Inquirer, by Jonathan Tamari

Original Article

Posted By:Calvinesq, 2/14/2013 11:10:08 PM

WASHINGTON -- How do you express your love in Washington? With a sly Valentine’s Day card that doubles as a biting partisan attack. The Republican National Committee is featuring Valentine’s Day e-cards on its Web site, including one that makes a not-so-subtle reference to the most salacious allegations involving New Jersey Sen. Robert Menendez. The card features a smiling Menendez alongside the words “Can I interest you in a romantic get-a-way?”

Comments:
"unsubstantiated allegations about Menendez visiting prostitutes"?? Gee, maybe if the press, just occasionally, would do investigative reporting of a D.

I suppose with the new found love for all things Islamic, the lamestream media will also need 4 witnesses to subtantiate any allegations when it comes to liberals doing evil things but for conservatives, the presstitudes have no qualms about originating some (c.f. Andrew Sullivan´s obsession with Palin´s son) foul rumors.

As bad as the Melendez allegations are,the real story to me is how an eye doctor became this rich, powerful and influential. If he was under investigation for Medicare fraud,Melendez had no business intervening to get the investigation drooped because the guy was a huge donor to him. That´s unethical to the highest degree.

The left is always babbling about the effects of money and politics, while being the worst offenders themselves.

Great card for Liver Lips.
Imagine the horror of those young girls to find themselves raped by this pervert.
Statutory rape is on the books because consent is not legally possible.
How much did Menendez and the Dem Party get from Melgen for a Port contract in the DR without ANY experience?
Proving once gain the dems have no interest in Security.

Mob underboss gets

Joseph "Mousie" Massimino, the slight but loquacious mobster described as the underboss of Philadelphia´s organized crime family, was sentenced to nearly 16 years in prison Thursday by a judge who said he doubted the mobster could change his ways. "I can only conclude Mr. Massimino that you don´t get it, that you never have gotten it," U.S. District Judge Eduardo Robreno told him. "You have committed yourself to a life of crime." The 188-month punishment was not nearly as bad as it could have been for the 63-year-old Massimino, the most prominent defendant convicted in February after a racketeering trial of Philadelphia's latest generation of mob leaders.

Embattled IRS official Lois Lerner will not testify before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee unless she’s given immunity from prosecution, her lawyer told POLITICO Tuesday. “They can obtain her testimony tomorrow by doing it the easy way … immunity,” William W. Taylor III said in a phone interview. “That’s the way to resolve all of this.” The comments reflect the hard-line approach Lerner, the former head of the IRS division that scrutinized conservative groups, and her legal team are taking in defending her role in the agency’s scandal.

When teenage thugs are called "troubled youth" by people on the political left, that tells us more about the mindset of the left than about these young hoodlums. Seldom is there a speck of evidence that the thugs are troubled, and often there is ample evidence that they are in fact enjoying themselves, as they create trouble and dangers for others. Why then the built-in excuse, when juvenile hoodlums are called "troubled youth" and mass murderers are just assumed to be "insane"? At least as far back as the 18th century, the left has struggled to avoid

Together, they represent the most comprehensive rebuttal of the United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change findings, which have been the basis of the climate change legislation movement across the planet.

Are Karl Rove & GOP

We know the Republican Congress is in a tizzy about the IRS looking into requests for IRS Tax exemptions for organizations named "Tea Party" and other conservative labels. They even had some hearings on them, attempting to tie the White House and President Obama to the scene. But as hard as they try, they simply cannot, since the White House had no knowledge of the incidents until told by the Inspector General. But wait. If President Obama, the White House and Democrats had nothing to do with something that seems so political, what about the Republicans?

A Common Pleas Court judge has blocked a religious group from holding loud, racially charged demonstrations in front of the entrance to One Liberty Place at 16th and Chestnut Streets. Judge Ellen Ceisler, in a ruling issued Thursday, barred gatherings by a group that the owners of One Liberty Place said spewed hatred toward whites, women, and gays. They said the demonstrations disrupted the peace, disturbed passersby, and interferred with business at nearby shops. The group, which calls itself the Israelite School of Universal Practical Knowledge, gathered weekly, bullhorns in hand, and chanted offensive rants,

Jim Beam, Jose Cuervo, and Johnny Walker are in the pokey. State investigators confiscated 1,000 open bottles from 29 bars and restaurants across the state to see whether the contents were premium brands or substituted cheap booze - or worse - and being sold as the good stuff. On Thursday, state officials released new details of a yearlong investigation, "Operation Swill," that found rubbing alcohol, dirty water, and food coloring in a few cocktails sold as premium drinks. Dying is effortless. That became clear to me as I lay on a gurney in an emergency department bay at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. It was 10 p.m., almost five hours since my primary-care physician Michael Cirigliano (better known as Dr. Mike from Fox29) diagnosed me as septic, bundled me into his car, and rushed me to the hospital. After several hours of intravenous antibiotics and four liters of fluid, my blood pressure was crashing, a hallmark of sepsis, a potentially fatal condition caused by an exaggerated immune response to injury or infection.

WASHINGTON — U.S. officials insisted Tuesday that extraordinary security measures for nearly two dozen diplomatic posts were to thwart an “immediate, specific threat,” a claim questioned by counterterrorism experts, who note that the alert covers an incongruous set of nations from the Middle East to an island off the southern coast of Africa. Analysts don’t dispute the Obama administration’s narrative that it’s gleaned intelligence on a plot involving al Qaida’s most active affiliate, the Yemen-based Arabian Peninsula branch. That would explain why most U.S. posts in the Persian Gulf are on lockdown, including the U.

The truth about Benghazi, the Associated Press/James Rosen monitoring, the IRS corruption, the NSA octopus, and Fast and Furious is still not exactly known. Critics of the president are convinced that Barack Obama will do lasting damage to the U.S. I doubt it. Obama came to power in the third year of large Democratic congressional majorities. In his first referendum, he lost the House and he may soon lose the Senate; in other words, there followed a somewhat normal reaction against a majority party. Obama’s popularity rating is well below 50%, despite an obsequious media and a brilliantly negative billion-dollar campaign that long ago turned Mitt Romney into a veritable elevator-using, equestrian-marrying, canine-hating monster. The U.S. State Department issued a global alert about the terrorist threat allegedly posed by Al-Qaeda in Yemen. However, this was only an attempt to justify the activities of the National Security Agency.Last Saturday, right after alerting of the terror threat civilians and BOLO complex ("be on the lookout") that includes law enforcement and federal officials, President Barack Obama went to play golf, and then celebrated his birthday at the presidential retreat at Camp David.

Former Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney jumped into the debate over the GOP’s future Tuesday night, warning congressional Republicans against forcing a government shutdown in their quest to stop President Barack Obama’s signature health care law. Romney addressed more than 200 donors on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee at a fundraiser for the New Hampshire Republican Party, staged just four miles from the vacation home where he has spent much of the summer with his family. The event was closed to the media, but his office released his prepared remarks.

In a rare diplomatic snub, President Obama is canceling plans to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow next month. The decision reflects both U.S. anger over Russia´s harboring of National Security Agency leaker Edward Snowden and growing frustration within the Obama administration over what it sees as Moscow´s stubbornness on other key issues, including missile defense and human rights. Obama will still attend the Group of 20 economic summit in St. Petersburg, Russia, but a top White House official said the president had no plans to hold one-on-one talks with Putin while there.

Over the last week, there has been a lot of buzz about a supposed CIA angle to the Benghazi story. Specifically, it has been alleged that a substantial number of CIA employees were on the ground in Benghazi, carrying out a mission that involved rounding up Libyan weapons and transferring them to rebels in Syria. Further, it has been reported that the CIA has leaned on its employees not to cooperate with Congressional investigations or the media, and it has been suggested that the CIA’s role in Benghazi may be related to the al Qaeda
