During a “fireside hangout” on Google+ this afternoon, President Obama responded to a questioner who said she was disappointed in the gap between Obama’s campaign promises for transparency and the reality of the last four years. “It feels a lot less transparent than I think we all hoped it would be,” she said. Obama said firmly, “This is the most transparent administration in history, and I can document that is the case.” As an example, he said, White House visitor record are now public record, something he changed. About Benghazi, he says that there´s a long paper trail of information and that "Congress is running out of questions to ask." No, they are not. Problem is, they haven´t asked them. For example:

1. What, exactly were you doing during the 7 hours of live footage coming from the massacre at Benghazi?

2. Who gave the "stand down" order?

3. Why was no help sent to these people at the consulate?

4. What were these people actually doing there in Benghazi? Gun running?

5. Why, Mr. President, since it´s YOUR responsibility to give orders in military situations such as this one where we are attacked on our own soil, did you hand off all responsibility to underlings?

6. When will you EVER take responsibility and blame when things go wrong?

But I guess such questions are too partisan to be answered, given all the transparency about Benghazi that we´ve gotten from this Administration.

The Labor Department says employers added 192,000 jobs, slightly below February´s total of 197,000. Employers also added a combined 37,000 more jobs in February and January than previously estimated. The unemployment rate was unchanged at 6.7 percent. But a half-million Americans started looking for work last month, and most of them found jobs. Immigration reform advocates are fond of citing broad support for their cause. But in fact the coalition behind the Senate Gang of Eight comprehensive reform bill is fragile and loosely cobbled together. How could Big Labor and the Chamber of Commerce and the tech world and Big Agriculture all unite behind one bill? Very tentatively. It wouldn´t take much to break the coalition apart. And if that happens, the effort to enact comprehensive immigration reform could blow up, not just for the moment, but for some time to come. And there are signs that is exactly what is occurring now. Following her speech at the “Women of the World Summit” in New York City on Thursday, Hillary Clinton was asked this simple question by a moderator: “When you look at your time as Secretary of State, what are you most proud of? And what do you feel was unfinished, and maybe have another crack at one day?” Here are a few excerpts from her response: ”Look, I really see my role as Secretary, in fact leadership in general in a democracy, as a relay race. When you run the best race you can run, you hand off the baton.” “Some

Earlier this week on Boston’s WRKO-AM’s The Howie Carr Show, conservative commentator Ann Coulter shocked some conservatives when she said she is making 2012 Republican nominee Mitt Romney her favorite for the 2016 Republican contest. Last month in an interview on CBS’s Face the Nation, Romney himself ruled out the possibility of a 2016 run and said he was instead focused on who to get behind in that contest. Coulter, however, wishes otherwise. “Well, don´t tell him but I´m planning on giving Mitt Romney a little more time to rest -- flying out, kidnapping him and depriving him of sleep, food and

A 54-year-old white man has been left barely clinging to life after he was brutally beaten by a group of black men when he got out of his car to check on a young black boy he accidentally hit. Steve Utash, from suburban Roseville, was beaten into a coma Wednesday by an angry mob in a poverty-stricken Detroit neighborhood after David Harris, 10, ran in front of his truck on a busy street, but police insist the incident was not racially motivated. The gang also stole his wallet before leaving him for dead. Utash is in extremely critical

Attorney General Eric Holder disputed a Government Accountability Office report on his use of Justice Department airplanes for personal trips, saying it overstated the number of trips he took and failed to recognize that some trips were job-related. "My staff keeps telling me to take it easy, you know, well, this is one that gets me," Holder told Rep. Frank Wolf, R-Va., during a House Appropriations subcommittee hearing. "There was this notion that we´ve taken -- I think it was described as hundreds of personal trips. That was wrong. GAO counted flights, not round trips. And we looked at it

Accra, Ghana — Jimmy Thorne says that relocating to Ghana is one of the best moves he’s ever made. It doesn’t matter if he, an African-American, gets called “obroni,” the local word for white person, in the streets, or if some of his family can’t quite figure out what he’s doing in this West African nation so far from his roots in North Carolina. (Snip) Whether motivated by love, money, or the desire to rekindle a long-lost connection, black repatriation to Africa remains alive and well, even if it never quite became the high-volume, emotional return to African roots

Reclusive movie star Doris Day greeted fans with a rare smile and a wave from her balcony on Thursday as she rang in her 90th birthday. The Oscar-nominee appeared in great spirits as she made the rather regal gesture from her home in Carmel-by-the-Sea, on California´s north coast - a quiet little enclave also home to Clint Eastwood - the first time she´s been seen in public since 2008. After opening up to Closer Weekly about her milestone birthday, revealing she´s still very much in demand, with scripts pouring in all the time, the silver-haired beauty appeared as sprightly as
