The Campaigner-in-Chief´s
Dishonest Tweets

RUSH: I´ll give you another example of how Obama is never governing -- never governing, always campaigning, always fighting those powerful forces. His policies don´t have any relationship whatsoever to the problem is. He´s just trying to fix everything. Nothing that he´s doing has any relationship to what´s happening. That´s how the low-information voters see it. I´m telling you, folks, after the State of the Union, Sean Hannity put together a Frank Luntz focus group in Santa Monica, California. He found a bunch of Romney voters who are essentially saying exactly to you what I´m saying today.

Well, I guess I agree with Rush on this. But here´s the underlying problem as I see it. Politicians of all stripes and parties have arrived at Lie Central in the last few years. They all lie or dance around the truth and give such convoluted answers to questions that it is tantamount to a lie.

Some politicos, like The Big Zero, ALWAYS lie and some only most of the time. However, if you are a Pub and you squeal bloody murder about The Big Zero´s lies, the media will raise you on your own petard. So, our side doesn´t call him out on it because they are guilty of it, too, and don´t want to be excoriated for it.

That´s the biggest problem in politics today, for Republicans that is, you can´t call out a liar if you are a liar, too. Lipstick on a pig, baby.

I´ve been hearing Rush on the radio about this.

Why does Rush assume and believe that these "voters" are actually and truly
people who voted for Mitt Romney?

How does one prove that? Isn´t Rush always on guard against "seminar" callers?
Well, these voters on the audiotape sound like the "seminar" callers to me.

They were supposedly from Santa Monica. Probably just lying DimWitz like so many there. I don´t believe this stuff from Frank Luntz at all... why should I?

Frank Luntz cannot prove how they voted... it´s a secret ballot, was in there and over
all their shoulders? I bet not.

#3 no need to correct, I got it. I think they are self-identifying Romney voters, sure he cant prove it, but i get his point. I can´t stand listening to Obama, but with an approval rating somewhere around 50%, there have to be some GOPs who like the way he talks. Lucky for us, Obama does not want to govern, he just wants to rabble rouse. He´s really good at it.

Legal Racket: Wehn Laywers were shaking down the tobacco industry in the 1990´s, it was clear that it was just a matter of when they´d loot again. The only question was who would be the next mark. That picture is clearing up. The list of potential victims that acquisitive trial lawyers could separate from their money includes the oil and gas industry, the alcohol trade, drug companies and the firearms business. All would be fine trophies for the plaintiffs´ attorneys. It appears, however, that the next victim will be the food industry. Gun Control: In a massive display of civil disobedience, tens of thousands of state residents have refused to register what the left calls assault weapons, instantly making them criminals guilty of a felony. The legacy of the Connecticut residents who used their privately owned firearms to help overthrow the tyrannical colonial rule of King George III, who probably considered their muskets the military-style assault weapon of the day, apparently lives on. Connecticuters in the tens, perhaps hundreds, of thousands have refused to comply with a law, adopted after the December 2012 massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School, requiring them to register what

Radical Politics: The Obama administration isn´t satisfied with locking in votes for Democrats by giving amnesty to illegal immigrants. Now it´s also trying to unlock ex-con´s votes through felon re-enfranchisement. In a Georgetown University speech, Attorney General Eric Holder last week called state laws barring convicted felons from voting racist measures that "strip African-Americans of their most fundamental rights." "Throughout America, 2.2 million black citizens — or nearly one in 13 African-American adults — are banned from voting because of these laws," he asserted. "In three states — Florida, Kentucky and Virginia — that ratio climbs to one in five." He demanded lawmakers

For several months running, the Bill and Eva Show has been the talk of New York City politics. He is the new mayor, Bill de Blasio, an unapologetic old-school liberal Democrat, scourge of the rich and of public charter schools. She is Eva Moskowitz, fellow Democrat and educational-reform champion who runs the city´s largest charter network. How did Ms. Moskowitz, a hero to thousands of New Yorkers of modest means whose children have been able to get a better education than their local public schools offered, end up becoming public enemy No. 1? President Obama predicted at the House Democratic retreat on Friday that "10 years from now, five years from now" people will look back on the Affordable Care Act as "a monumental achievement." He´s right in the limited sense that, given the delays he has sanctioned so far, it will take years before anyone can tell if it works. Now that we´ve had more time to parse this week´s announcement of a second delay of the employer mandate, the political reason for the carve-out is becoming clearer. Far from the economic relief that the White House claimed, the rule is meant to

It makes their heads explode,” Cruz told radio host Mark Levin Thursday. Republicans in Congress are being accused of fighting a "war on the war on poverty," in part because of a tiny cut in the food stamps program last week. Democrats charge that these "cuts" will take food from the mouths of hungry children, and they claim this is an example of how Congress has shred the safety net for the poor. Never mind that this is the food aid program that has tripled in cost and doubled in participation in just the last decade. There´s a debate going on about Hillary Clinton´s past. If she runs for president in 2016, should Republicans reach back to the scandals of her years as First Lady? Or should they focus on more recent times, especially her tenure as Secretary of State, to build a case against her? The GOP doesn´t have to choose. Of course Clinton´s recent experiences are relevant to a presidential run. But so are her actions in the 90s, the 80s and even the 70s. It´s not ancient history; it reveals something about who Clinton was and still is. And re-examining her past is entirely consistent with practices in recent campaigns. In the 2012 presidential race,

The weirdest thing about John Kerry´s weekend speech on climate-change—other than the fact that this is the same guy who in 1997 voted to forbid the U.S. from signing the Kyoto Protocol—is that it begins by quoting something Maurice Strong said at the U.N.´s 1992 Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro: "Every bit of evidence I´ve seen persuades me that we are on a course leading to tragedy." Maurice who? Mr. Strong, a former oil executive from Canada (he was Pierre Trudeau´s pick to run state-owned Petro-Canada in the mid-1970s), was for many years the U.N.´s ultimate mandarin.
