Fox News signs Scott Brown
Washington Post, by Rachel Weiner

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 2/13/2013 8:35:34 PM

Former Massachusetts senator Scott Brown will debut on Fox News Wednesday night, with an appearance on “Hannity.” “Senator Brown’s dedication to out-of-the box thinking on key issues makes him an important voice in the country and we are looking forward to his contributions across all Fox News platforms,” Bill Shine, the network’s executive vice president of programming, said in a statement. “I am looking forward to commenting on the issues of the day and challenging our elected officials to put our country’s needs first instead of their own partisan interests,” Brown added.

Comments:
He´s a far cry better than the insufferable Mark Sanford. Thankfully his run for office took him off Fox. Sadly, it looks like they are phasing out any true conseravatives.

Agreed #1. It´s become unwatchable.

And BTW, now you know why Brown didn´t keep his hat in the Senate run in MA.

Smiles suddenly appear on some of the posters here. Eye candy has its appeal. At least he is far better than Beckel, Perhaps he will mellow after a time of diversity. Being stuck in a state of lying libs makes for a certain type of individual Fox could do a lot worse. Thanks Fox for the Valentine´s gift.

#1 The only must see FOX is on right now - a rare substantive interview on Hannity. Notice he doesn´t talk to the audience as if they are in 4th grade.

I don´t mind Beckel. He at least can stay on topic and you know his political affiliation. With Brown you really don´t get the impression he is a conservative. Maybe time will tell , but I think Fox could do better.

Stand for something, or stand for nothing. It´s apparent that the former senator has trouble deciding his position at any given time. Pandering to the base is one thing, but pandering to both bases?
His politicizing the Newtown tragedy within hours of its occurrence, is but another example of his betrayal to those on the right who supported him at one time. Won´t get fooled again.

Dude, it could happen. Three easy steps to Romney 3.0: He comes out strong for amnesty to mend fences with Latino voters; he finally decides to ix-nay the “makers and takers” etoric-rhay, and of course he chooses Mike Huckabee to be his VP. The United States has agreed to send new arms to Iraq to thwart Al Qaeda-linked militants currently controlling Fallujah following a request by Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, senior defense officials told Fox News. Army Col. Steve Warren, a Pentagon spokesman, declined to detail the immediate status of those trainers, but did confirm Maliki’s request, adding that the United States will send “several thousand” M-16 and M-4 rifles, as well as ammunition. The new weapons have been “sourced,” Warren said, and should arrive in Iraq in weeks. The United States is also in discussions with the Iraqis to send officials to

The myth of the poor, oppressed jihadist never dies. U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry is the latest Obama administration official to peddle this odious narrative. Cue John Lennon’s cloying “Imagine,” don your plaid pajamas, and curl up with a warm cup of deadly naivete. While meeting with Catholic Church officials at the Vatican in Rome on Monday, Kerry expounded on their “huge common interest in dealing with this issue of poverty, which in many cases is the root cause of terrorism or even the root cause of the disenfranchisement of millions of people on this planet.” In other words: If

The Environmental Protection Agency has told farmers and ranchers it is sorry for handing private information about them over to environmental groups, but agriculture advocates who fear attacks from eco-terrorists say it´s like closing the barn door after the horses escaped. In response to Freedom of Information Requests, the federal agency released information on up to 100,000 agriculture industry workers, including their home address and phone numbers, GPS coordinates and even personal medical histories. The agency later acknowledged much of the information should never have been provided, and even asked the recipients to give it back. “If someone is setting

The April 2012 visit came before the Muslim Brotherhood´s candidate was elected Egypt´s president, although the Brotherhood´s Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) had won a plurality of seats in parliamentary elections. There are no words to describe what happened Friday during a live event held by Covered California designed to increase interest among young people in the Affordable Care Act. Actually… there are words: insane, perplexing, inexplicable, and psychologically scarring come to mind. What was billed as a “live celebration of the 35 million Americans who now gain access to affordable health insurance under the Affordable Care Act,” the six and a half hour event rapidly — almost immediately — devolved into a celebration of the offbeat and eccentric. And it was fitness guru Richard Simmons who took us there. Millennials,

Rep. Steve Cohen (D-Tenn.) this week re-introduced two bills aimed at reducing and preventing racially based outcomes in the criminal justice system. "From the biased use of ´stop and frisk´ policies to the impact of unfair mandatory minimum sentences on minority communities, there is widespread evidence that racial disparities pervade our criminal justice system," Cohen said. "These disparities undermine confidence in the system, threaten the cause of justice, and cannot continue in a society that holds fairness and equality in high regard." Reps. Bill Foster (D-Ill.) and Ted Deutch (D-Fla.) have proposed a bill that would require U.S. officials to ensure that immigrants who are detained are made fully aware of their legal rights. The Immigrant Detainee Legal Rights Act, H.R. 3914, establishes an Office of Legal Access Programs, which would educate illegal immigrants about their rights. The program would also help detained immigrants make "informed and timely decisions regarding their removal and eligibility for relief from removal." The bill and its sponsors say this would increase efficiency and reduce the costs associated with immigration proceedings. "Far too often immigrants are taken

Obama believes Republicans will feel politically vulnerable, if they fail to advance the issue, a high priority among Hispanic voters, according to Democratic senators who met with the president this week. Obama sees immigration reform as a source for optimism in what has otherwise shaped up as a tough year for Democrats. “He predicted the House would pass something this year,” said Sen. Former Virginia Gov. Robert F. The two were charged in connection with their relationship with dietary supplement executive Jonnie R. In exchange, they alleged the McDonnells worked in concert to lend the prestige of the governorship to Williams’s struggling company, a

The bare-bones Wendy Davis story — the one without embellishment — is sufficiently inspiring as a matrix for defying expectations. The daughter of a teenage mother and a teenage mother herself, Davis managed to beat the odds by getting a college education and Ivy League law degree, then launching a political career that’s brought her national adulation. But since Davis’ Democratic gubernatorial ambitions caught fire last year, “facts have been blurred” in the retelling of her life’s story, as reported Sunday by this newspaper’s senior political writer, Wayne Slater.

Time Magazine’s current cover depicts a tiny man hanging onto the heel of a shoe that’s emerging from a pant-suit wearing leg. “Can Anyone Stop Hillary?” reads the accompanying text. Maybe, if the cover also showed her tripping over the Senate Intelligence Committee’s just-released report on the attack that killed four Americans in Benghazi, Libya, while she was secretary of state. If New Jersey Governor Chris Christie must answer for four days of traffic jams on roads leading to the George Washington Bridge, surely Clinton has the same obligation to address a deadly assault that the bipartisan committee found “preventable.”
