A short note on Speaker
Boehner´s expression

American Thinker, by Peter Wilson

I had dinner guests and forgot to DVR the State of the Union, so I tuned in late. The picture of three politicians at center stage however gave me hope. On the left was just plain dumb as a box of rocks Joe Biden, so obviously aware of the camera, trying to construct a facial expression that was supportive and reverent of his boss. In the middle, the bloviating President. On the right John Boehner, who sat for minutes on end with an incredible demeanor filled with utmost disdain for Obama, barely able to contain his fury, while Democrat lackeys

It was disgusting to watch Landrieu leading the cheers as he laid out further evicence of the systematic destruction of America.

You mean my rep? The same one that had secret meetings on the budget with Our Dear Reader?

Glares and harsh looks aren´t going to cut it John. How about some actions that remind me of a Conservative for once?

Perhaps, #4, the bashing will stop when the Pubbies stop acting like big-spending democrats and follow up on their campaign promises.

Only under extreme pressure will they change, and other than the ballot box every 2 or 6 years, bashing is about the only weapon we have.

The state of our Union is the worse it’s been since 1860. And it will only get worse. For one, we are no longer a Union of sovereign states but a collection of fiefdoms administered by a Federal overlord. Freedom, independence and liberty have all vanished from this country. The cause of the first Civil War was a flawed Constitution. The cause of the coming Civil War is an ignored Constitution. Facial expressions and bold faced lies are not solutions to the current problem. And compromise is no longer acceptable. In addition, a lazy and disengaged populace has abandoned its oversight of the goobernment duties since 1932. There are a significant number of liberty desiring patriots that now realize that the USA no longer holds the promise of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness and that bold action is needed to form a new country and goobernment that meets these inherent rights. Thus, last night’s Kabuki Theater was now worthy of a real patriots time. What is now needed is the grassroots uprising to address the enormous grievances we have with our Federal Overlords.

Amen #4. IMO, there seems to be an unusually large number of "republicans" bashing the GOP here lately. There´s really no need for demonrats to denigrate, there are plenty in the "party" who are more than happy to assist them in calling out Republicans who don´t agree with "them". Not very productive, but it sure seems like fun for some..

It´s got to be hard mustering the strength to face down the Dems every day, realizing that no matter how right you are, American Pravda and the MSM propaganda machine will vilify you, give them credit for any good news, and blame any bad news on you.

Constructive to me is two years of thousands of people taking the time and trouble to march on DC to help them get the message that we´re tired of their do nothing agenda. Constructive is the thousands of phone calls and emails sent to our pansy a**ed electives to try to get their attention. All to no avail. John Boehner is a do-nothing, spineless leader we´ve HAD to put up with for 5 years now. I remember the exact same postings from the last SOTU about him. His face showed anger and disdain, blah blah blah. And we´re farther down the road to Hell. When he stops dealing behind closed doors with Zippy and eating canapes with the enemy, I´ll be glad to give him the recognition he deserves. I´m remembering him pulling all the conservative committee leaders after the last election. Ptooooooey John Tammy Faye Boehner.

President Obama expressed the White House’s frustration with news coverage of the Affordable Care Act’s rocky rollout by taking a jab at the press on Tuesday. During his ObamaCare enrollment victory lap speech in the Rose Garden, the president swiped at reporters, who the White House believes were too eager to spotlight every incremental development associated with the site´s botched launch. “I want to make sure everybody understands – in the months, years ahead, I guarantee you there will be additional challenges to implementing this law,” Obama said. “There will be days when the website stumbles. The White House is claiming that President Obama’s celebratory speech this afternoon in the Rose Garden was not a “victory lap” but it was clear to everyone who watched the address that it was more of a touchdown dance than a sober evaluation of the implementation of his signature health care law. Given the mistake-filled rollout of ObamaCare, the fact that the numbers reported by the government indicated that it had exceeded the seven million goal that had been set as the goal for the open enrollment period, the administration felt it had good reason to spike the ball and

Before getting to the speech itself, it’s worth noting a few things. When the Democrats passed and Barack Obama signed Obamacare, the majority opposed it. About 56%, in fact. A majority have consistently opposed that law ever since. The Obama administration touted 7 million sign-ups by March 31 as “success.” When that goal appeared to be unreachable, the administration suggested that maybe 5 or 6 million would be enough. Before the Obama administration gave an inaccurate narrative on national television that the Benghazi attacks grew from an anti-American protest, the CIA’s station chief in Libya pointedly told his superiors in Washington that no such demonstration occurred, documents and interviews with current and former intelligence officials show. A RAND study pours buckets of cold water on the Obama administration’s claims that it has nearly reached 7 million sign-ups for Obamacare. The whole point of Obamacare, supposedly, was to insure the uninsured and bend the cost curve down. Those who had insurance were supposed to be able to keep it. Families were supposed to start saving about $2500 a year. If you believed the Obama administration. Reality, according to RAND‘s study, is that the Obama administration’s 7 million figure is deceptive. Supposing 7 million have actually signed up and paid their first premium — which is not a given,

The former two-term governor of Florida speaks fluent Spanish, is a convert to Catholicism, and has high name recognition. Jeb could raise millions of dollars over night by just saying “yes” to running. Despite all this, there are strong reasons Republicans should say no to him. 1. His last name is poison. Let’s face it, if Jeb Bush had the last name of Something Else he would have already run for president in 2008 or 2012. According to a recent Washington Post/ABC News poll registered voters were asked if they would definitely NOT vote for Jeb Bush and 50 percent said they would not.
