Krauthammer on SOTU: ´This speech is
about spending your way to prosperity´

Daily Caller, by Jeff Poor

Original Article

Posted By:Donttaxmebro, 2/13/2013 12:01:01 AM

Washington Post columnist and Fox News contributor Charles Krauthammer on Tuesday criticized President Barack Obama’s State of the Union address as unrealistic and egocentric, arguing that the president made clear he is more concerned about his own image than the realities of governance. Specifically, Krauthammer suggested Obama’s call for legislative transparency was mere lip service that might even backfire on the Democratic Party. “One of the things that these red-state Democrats who are going to go up for re-election in the next year are scared to death about is precisely having to vote,”

One of these days the died in the wool, yellow dog democrats are going to realize they have been suckered all these years. Most will just quietly go away and die. The rest of them will put on their big-boy pants and start voting for people who still love our country. When they start replacing the old line democrats with younger thinking republicans, that is the day we´ve all been waiting for and the US of A will come back and regain it´s rightful place as the leader of the free world. But they are going to have to think for themselves and that could be a problem. GOD help us. We must do something.

#1 - I think it is younger thinking Indepdendents we need. No more Republicans. They are as useless as the Dems.

Someday its gonna trickle out that one of obama´s role models is Ferdinand Marcos. Of course obama has more ambition than Ferdinand Marcos, who was just a piker.

"Marcos´ family and cronies looted so much wealth from the country that to this day investigators have difficulty determining precisely how many billions of dollars were stolen. However, it is estimated that Marcos alone stole at least $5 billion from the Filipino treasury.[67][68] The Swiss government, initially reluctant to respond to allegations that stolen funds were held in Swiss accounts ..."

Well our president also said that by his issuing an executive order he could change the earth´s climate. He has truely assumed God like powers, and by making such a public claim, we should question his sanity.

What Obama says and what Obama does are usually two different things in the spirit of a true snake oil salesman.

A lot of dems lost their jobs in 2010,mostly due to the Obamacare backlash. That was before people´s eyes bugged out over their new premiums that were supposed to go down.

Obama has done nothing but lie for 4 years and still people haven´t caught on. One simple but stupid reason is people believe the president isn´t allowed to lie or the media would call him out if he did.

Obama promises billions more in new spending without adding a dime to the deficit and people believe him. Rubio takes a drink of water and that´s their leading storyline.

I thought the President´s speech was a bore. Proposal, proposal, proposal. Compromise, compromise, compromise. He is setting a trap for 2014. He´s going to throw the kitchen sink at the GOP, and many of his offerings will be reasonable, but he knows the GOP cannot strike deals with him because his brand is so toxic. So instead he´s going to campaign across the country about the "obstructionist Republicans". The GOP must pick their battles wisely.

Only things I thought that mattered were the Afghanistan pullout and the immigration stuff. Everything else was kind if wishful thinking unless you´re trying to get what Obama´s philosophy is. But we know that already.

FDR tried this and the depression was made worse and lasted for over a decade. Because the democrats are in charge and Boehner and McConnell are going along with the huge taxes and spending we are seeing a repeat of the depression along with the coverup by the news media of how bad it is.

On his radio show this week, conservative talker Mark Levin said that Fox News host Bill O’Reilly, who on Tuesday claimed that opponents of same-sex marriage do nothing but “thump the Bible,” should stop degrading his audience. “Thump the Bible?” Levin asked. “Have I thumped the Bible once in an hour and a half on the air today? … Why are you putting down your audience? I thought you stood for the folks. And you sound like [President Barack] Obama, with the ‘clinging to their guns and religion’ line. You should show respect to your audience.”

On Dennis Prager’s radio show on Monday, conservative commentator Ann Coulter offered her takeaways from last weekend’s Conservative Political Action Conference held outside Washington, D.C., where Kentucky Republican Sen. Rand Paul won the event’s presidential straw poll. Coulter, author of “Mugged: Racial Demagoguery from the Seventies to Obama,” explained how that happened, which led to her critique of the libertarian movement within college campuses and its antics. “’How did that happen?’ you’re wondering,” she said. “Ron Paul used to win every year because these libertarian

In covering the selection of Pope Francis I, many in the media speculated as to whether the new head of the Roman Catholic Church would take a more liberal theological position on homosexuality and abortion. But in his regular Thursday appearance on Hugh Hewitt’s radio show, Mark Steyn, author of “After America: Get Ready for Armageddon,” viewed that media speculation along with other “trivial” aspects of the coverage to be ridiculous considering the church has held those same beliefs for thousands of years now. “Well, you know, I think the papal coverage in the so-called serious media

On Rush Limbaugh’s radio show on Monday, National Review’s Mark Steyn explained why an incident involving a seven-year-old boy’s punishment and the subsequent reaction for chewing a Pop Tart in the shape of a gun is a sign the country is “doomed.” Steyn, author of “After America: Get Ready for Armageddon,” compared this generation of children, who may have felt threatened by the so-called Pop Tart gun, to the American generation that stormed the beaches of Normandy. “You’re doomed, America,” Steyn said. “You’re done for. Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”

Ms. Smith first relayed how her son, prior to the attack, requested additional security in advance and warned the State Department: He did tell them, ahead of time, he typed it into his little typewriter over there,

Put out an all-points bulletin: Millions of Americans have gone missing from the workforce. Every month that those would-be workers are gone raises the odds that they might never come back, dimming the prospects for future economic growth. The vanishing trend is more than a decade old, but it accelerated during the Great Recession. Throughout 2012, economists held out hope that it had stopped. But then came Friday’s jobs report, and hopes were dashed. The Labor Department reported that the U.S. labor force — everyone who has a job or is looking for one — shrank

Her betrayal consists of being gauche enough to acknowledge publicly a truth that everyone who’s come up through Ivy League culture knows intuitively —

Gluten-free diets are all the rage, but they can be dangerous if not done right. What is gluten? It´s the spongy complex of proteins, found naturally in wheat, rye, and barley, that gives elasticity to dough and allows it to rise. When flour is moistened and either kneaded or mixed into dough, gluten molecules form an elastic, microscopic latticework that traps the carbon dioxide produced when yeast ferments, causing dough to inflate like a hot air balloon. Baking hardens the gluten, which helps the finished product keep its shape. Wheat — and gluten — is ubiquitous in the American diet.
