Prison ´Godfather´ O.J.
Simpson has a TV in his
cell and hosted a SUPER
BOWL party

Daily Mail (UK), by Helen Pow

Original Article

O.J. Simpson threw a Super Bowl party in prison, with inmates cramming into his 80-square-foot cell to watch the game on his personal TV. The ex-San Francisco 49er who is serving a 33-year sentence at Lovelock Correctional Center in Nevada is one of only a few prisoners to have his own TV. Simpson was convicted in 2008 of kidnapping and armed robbery. He is extremely popular in the correctional facility and has been dubbed ´The Godfather.´

All prisoners are equal. Some prisoners are more equal than others.

OJ has a $300,000/yr pension from the NFL which cannot be touched by the Brown Family or any other creditor. That much money makes life in prison a bit more comfortable.

I don´t like OJ, but he was acquitted by a jury for the murder charges. Let it go.
The time levied for the conviction in Vegas is outrageous and a complete travesty of justice.
Plaxico Burress should have received probation and never seen the inside of a cell. OJ should have seen 3 to 5 years max based on any consistency in sentencing.
Keep giving black men time that whites will never see and watch how those race relations develop.

#6, let it go? Never. This man butchered 2 innocent people and walked. THAT´S the true "travesty of justice." So, if the lady of justice peeked out from under her eye mask and smirked just a little that his current sentence was over the top, that´s just fine with me. I´m sick and tired of watching a constant parade of guilty people getting away with whatever they want.

They’re big. They’re ugly. They’re noisy. And they’re coming. So get ready. The blockbuster brood of the periodical cicada, large insects that emerge en masse from the ground in 17-year intervals across the northeast, is on its way — and New York City’s largest public radio station is encouraging residents in Central Jersey and beyond to help track the invasion. “The whole idea came from our news director, Jim (Schachter, of Summit), who lives in New Jersey — he promised his wife that they would move from their home before the 17-year cicadas came back,”

The night began like many at Boorda Hall, a five-story barracks at Naval Station Great Lakes, the Navy´s premier training base on the shore of Lake Michigan in Illinois. Somebody announced a party, and the hard drinking and beer pong began. A 21-year-old Marine lance corporal, so drunk on rum and Mountain Dew she was slurring her words, went to look for Kyle Antonacci, a Navy seaman she´d been dating off and on. Antonacci soon texted his friend Mike Pineda to help him deal with her. Both men had sex with her that night. But what distinguished May 8, 2009,

ATLANTA – Luke Hancock came off the bench to score 20 points, walk-on Tim Henderson sparked a second-half rally with a pair of monster 3s and Louisville advanced to the NCAA title game Saturday night, escaping with a 72-68 victory over Wichita State. As the final buzzer sounded, a Louisville player tossed the ball high into the air and injured Kevin Ware stood up, thrusting his arms above his head. It was the 15th straight victory for the top-seeded Cardinals (34-5), who will play the winner of Syracuse-Michigan for the national title Monday night.

The Keystone XL Pipeline has emerged as a major issue in the Massachusetts special U.S. Senate election, with environmental groups committing nearly one-third of the $1.25 million in outside money already spent on campaigns. The biggest spender so far is the League of Conservation Voters, which has already spent more than $545,000 to help elect Democratic candidate and Rep. Now that it’s almost departure time for Julius Genachowski, Obama’s first chairman of the Federal Communications Commission, The Hill newspaper has noted one important sign of his priorities. In his four years at the helm, the FCC hasn’t issued one fine to Hollywood for indecent content on broadcast television. Now there’s a legacy. Hollywood sends its gratitude, Mr. Chairman, for an absolutely perfect record of inaction. Who says that in Obama’s America, your campaign contributions can’t buy regulatory paralysis in Washington when needed? Few media outlets noticed. Communications Daily described Genachowski’s perfect zero as a “restrained approach.”

Weighing in on the other side, national civil rights leader Julian Bond sent a letter urging legislators to grant equal rights to “my gay and lesbian brothers and sisters.” George met with prominent Chicago area black pastors and bishops
