| North Korea touched off another underground nuclear test today, large enough to register as an earthquake on foreign seismographs. The hermit kingdom confirmed the shot in a statement shortly after, saying this device was a lighter, miniaturized version of its previous ones. South Korean officials said the explosion was far larger than the tests in 2009 and 2006. And then President Obama replied with -- wait for it -- another prepared statement calling the dictatorship´s latest nuclear test "a highly provocative act." He also promised to remain "vigilant."

Yeah, I´m sure the North Koreans are just quaking in their boots at Øvomit´s threat of ´´firm action´´.
I´m guessing Øvomit means that the US will be issuing an appology for all of our ´´hostile aggression against the peace loving people and government of North Korea´´, followed by our surrender.
Anybody else remember when we used to be the world´s superpower, and the beacon of light and hope for all the world??? Yeah, it´s been awhile...

The enemies of America have long since lost any fear they ever had of Barack Obama and the Democrats.
Obama claims he can rid the world of nuclear weapons. He really seems to believe this, having said it on many occasions.
North Korea would be a good place to start. But Obama and people like him think that America and Israel are the logical starting point. After all, we have more such weapons. If we demonstrate our peaceful intentions and desire to be friends, our enemies will certainly turn in their nukes just like criminals in America´s ghettos turn in their guns.

In a swift and strange reversal, Obama administration officials Thursday rushed to play down their own recent announcements of defensive U.S. military movements in response to threats and provocations from North Korea. Like many holidays, Easter is often associated with family memories. For me, Easter is associated with the memory of other families. It was 1975 just before Easter. The Vietnam war was ending ignominiously, with President Ford promising full American support right up through the time we left thousands of South Vietnamese sympathizers behind to confront new Communist rulers. Or risk death at sea as desperate boat people. Thanks to a tip from intelligence sources that the end of South Vietnam was near, my news employer had arranged to evacuate its two local Vietnamese interpreters and their extended families to Guam.

These electronic Obama fundraising missives are always about money, even after an historic record number of fundraisers throughout 2011 and 2012 and the incumbent´s estimated $1 billion, second winning presidential campaign, which saw him actually reap millions fewer votes than the first one. The messages are usually filled with ominous talk of fights and struggles against unnamed, but evil special interests.

RUSH: Folks, I don´t know how else to categorize this. We are living in a dying country. I don´t know how else to categorize what´s happening -- 88,000 new jobs. The unemployment rate, because of a terrible statistic, is down to 7.6%. The number of people in this country who are not working is shameful. Ninety million Americans are no longer in the workforce. Ninety million. People not in the labor force grew by 663,000, and now 90 million. That´s the labor force participation rate. This is 1979 levels.
