Ignatius Begs Obama: Spare Rubio
Rushlimbaugh.com, by Rush Limbaugh

Original Article

Posted By:Desert Fox, 2/11/2013 5:42:49 PM

RUSH: A most amazing thing, to me, anyway. This may not be that big a deal to you, but to me it is. I found this on Newsbusters. I didn´t actually see this. Chris Matthews has a syndicated show that runs on Sundays throughout the country. This is not his nightly MSNBC tingle-up-the-leg show. And on his show yesterday was Washington Post columnist David Ignatius who literally begged Obama, implored Obama not to destroy Marco Rubio in the upcoming immigration debate. I think this is a tantamount admission to what´s going on.

Senator Rubio is a grown man.

I believe he can withstand the attacks of a tyrant.

What person being questioned about the attributes of the President of the United States would say trying to destroy people is an admirable way to lead?

Anyone but Rubio in 2016. Even Hillary would be preferable, provided we keep a GOP House. Rubio has McCain disease -- he desperately wants to be loved by the liberal media. You cannot trust a man like that -- biography or no biography, fancy suit and all.
He has no accomplishments, other than being a career politician with a hot wife. He has already shown a willingness to sell out the GOP with his Schumer amnesty plan. Some of you are falling for this con just like the liberals fell for Oblama. The difference with Rubio is he doesn´t have the rhetorical gifts

Senator Rubio, PLEASE respond to zero and his regime of dirty, marxist, democRAT LIES, WHEN they are told. If they are LIES, call them LIES and don´t do what the idiot romney did, and just try to laugh them off. There are about 50 percent of the voters who buy that crap, hook, line and sinker. Don´t give them an inch or they will murder your reputation and them laugh in your face about it.

As Belgium´s capital and host to the EU and Nato, Brussels is used to deploying heavy security when big names pop by. But US President Barack Obama´s visit on Tuesday will strain the city like never before with €10m ($10.4m, £8.4m) of Belgian money being spent to cover his 24 hours in the country. The president will arrive on Tuesday night with a 900-strong entourage, including 45 vehicles and three cargo planes. Advance security teams orchestrating every last detail have combed Brussels already, checking the sewers and the major hospitals, while American military helicopters were last week given the green light

The Earth was once populated with enormous beasts, the likes of which we have never seen – from mammoths to giant beavers, and sabretooths to horned tortoises. Over the last two million years many of these giant beasts, known as megafauna, have either been wiped out completely, or replaced by smaller counterparts living side-by-side with an ever increasing human population. The debate on exactly what caused this mass extinction has been raging for years – on one side of the fence, the demise is being blamed on natural climate change, on the other, humans and our carnivorous ways have ‘destroyed’ the world. Michelle Obama encouraged rural Chinese students not to let humble beginnings stop them from aiming high, as she spoke during a visit to a school in southwestern China today. Mrs Obama drew from her experiences, speaking of how she did not let her own modest upbringing in Chicago stand in the way of completing a law degree at Harvard, as she addressed students in remote Chinese communities via webcam. The First Lady quoted her own mother Marian Robinson, who is accompanying her and her daughters on the trip, saying that ‘a good education is something that no one can take away from

Vladimir Putin and his American apologists like to blame NATO´s post-Cold War expansion for his territorial conquests, which ignores that the alliance refused in 2008 to let Georgia and Ukraine even begin the process of joining. Those are the two countries the Russian has since carved up, and the question now is whether Russia´s expansionism will slap Western leaders out of their self-defense slumbers. NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen sounded the alarm last week in a visit to Washington. "I see Crimea as an element in a greater pattern" of Russian strategy, he told an audience at the Brookings Institution. Moscow´s

President Obama on March 13 signed an order directing the Labor Department to expand the class of employees entitled to overtime pay. Currently, if a salaried employee makes more than $24,000 a year and is part of management—if he manages the business, directs the work of other employees, and has the authority to hire and fire—that employee is exempt from overtime coverage. The president wants to raise this salary threshold, perhaps as high as $50,000, demoting entry-level managers to glorified crew members by replacing their incentive to get results with an incentive to log more hours. At issue is a

The U.S. leadership vacuum has left NATO as ravaged as a post-World War II battlefield. In May 1945, a sizable force of Allied bombers flew photographers over European cities to document the destruction of what was then, and remains, the worst war in history. Their images of urban craters and flattened buildings are permanent reminders of the evils of totalitarianism. One can´t help wondering, if Barack Obama had been on board, whether he would have looked down and remarked on the day´s pleasant

WASHINGTON — Mitt Romney said Sunday that President Barack Obama is naive when it comes to Russia, has shown "faulty judgment" about Moscow´s intentions and could have done more to try to deter its annexation of Crimea. The 2012 Republican presidential nominee said Obama didn´t have the foresight to anticipate Russia´s moves and should have been working earlier with allies to make clear the penalties that Russia would face if it moved into Ukraine. Romney did acknowledge that such steps may not have been enough though to hold back Russia President Vladimir Putin. "Had we communicated those things, there´s always

Rejecting the rigidly hierarchical and stratified societies of the ancient world, Jesus Christ taught the equal dignity of all persons, proclaimed that the meek shall inherit the earth, and declared that the last shall be first and the first shall be last. The Western world has been working out the logic of these subversive teachings ever since, with the institutional transformation of marriage being the latest, though surely not the last, example of its social, moral,

A pair of potentially catastrophic cases will be argued before the Supreme Court on Tuesday. These cases are brought by privately held, for-profit corporations that are arguing their religious convictions should preclude them from offering employees the health insurance required by law. Specifically, these private employers don’t want to allow their employees’ insurance to cover some forms of birth control because, contrary to medicaland scientific evidence, they believe some birth control causes abortions. Corporations are not people. Corporations cannot have religious views. If religious rights are extended to corporations, it puts us on a slippery slope where any private company
