I have said for the past year that in today´s times, we need a young strong Pope.
There IS a very conservative black Cardinal from Africa in the running.

#4 I get that. Pelosi talks like she´s Pope. When Church teaching is contrary to Democrat politics (often) she starts quoting Augustine and telling Catholic voters to ignore that guy in Rome. She probably tells some staffer to google it. It´s actually very serious. There´s a word for deliberately misleading the faithful, but I forget what it is.

I pray God will guide the vatican to select a true Christian but fear the progressive demons have infiltrated the highest ranks of the church.

The next pope will speak volumes as to our future as a human race. Pray for God´s guidance & intervention.

Pope Benedict is stepping aside, in part, to fulfill the destiny of Cardinal Arinze, who´s already 80 years old but will become Pope Pius XIII.

Liberal cardinals will vote for him cuz he´s black and from Africa; conservative cardinals will vote for him because he´s a conservative who will be a champion of the Catholic faith and will drive out the heretics and CINOs.

#15 - I doubt it´ll be Arinze. At age 80, he won´t even be at the conclave. All Cardinal Electors must be under the age of 80. If the Cardinals wish to elect a conservative African, they´ll vote for Peter Turkson from Ghana. He´s a good man and might make a fine Pope.

Ultimately, it´s God´s choice. I am not worried.

True, at 80 he can´t vote, but he can still be elected. But Turkson would be good . . . I just wonder if he´s too young (64) for the club who probably don´t want another young pope like JPII hanging around for twenty+ years.

The timing is intriguing in terms of the liturgical year. Benedict´s last public ministry will be Ash Wednesday and the push will be on to have a new Pope in place for Holy Week, which begins on March 24.

Saint Malachy´s 12th century prophecy says the next and LAST Pope will be Peter the Roman. If this is true, get ready for the final ride, people.

B16 was always supposed to be a "placeholder", a short pontificate to finish out the things JP2 started. Then another younger Pope could be elected and set the tone for a generation of Catholics.
