| While giving Senate testimony regarding Benghazi on Feb. 7, Sec. of Defense Leon Panetta said Obama was not present nor did he communicate with the Sec. of Defense during the Benghazi attack. Panetta was answering questions from Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) when he made it clear he had no communication with Obama outside the normal, "pre-scheduled" 5 p.m. meeting on September 11. When asked if Obama at least called to check in as the attack unfolded Panetta said "No." When asked if anyone from the White House called that night, Panetta said "No." According to Panetta, the President trusted that

Comments: This should be an impeachable offense. Obama is CIC. It was his call to authorize sending in backup. So what was it? Was he drunk or on drugs? This is dereliction of duty. I knew with their dog and pony show they were covering up something.

~~According to Panetta, the President trusted that the Sec. of Defense and Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCOS) Chairman General Martin Dempsey were aware of what military assets were and weren´t near Benghazi, so he left it "up to us."~~
Of course.....always, leave it up to someone else....how typical.

BHO, CINC, told Panetta to do whatever was needed that´s enough for Panetta and Dempsey to order support. So who stopped them? Val Jar? This smells like a campaign decision and BHO was out of the loop. I is not my intention to defend him but when the CINC tells SecDef to do whatever is needed that´s a green light for some pretty serious action. Who stopped them? It wasn´t BHO.

More of our Dear Reader´s leading from his behind - or whatever.
I guess the Bamster is trying out different excuse lines. First anything bad was W´s fault, but that started getting kinda old after 4 years.
Obama´s new excuse line is clearly SecDef and JCOS ate his homework...

A commander absent under such circumstances would be relieved of duty and face a courts martial, at a minimum. In time of war, some were taken out and shot if convicted - or at least they used to be.
Duty, Honor, responsibility - Oh, that´s right, we´re talking libtards here, which is to say scum of the earth.

And do not forget that hillary did not speak to panetta and dempsey during the attacks. And once again the republicans failed to as a follow up question - ´who in the administration did you speak with?´ That might have flushed out val jarrett, who probably was the one who told them to stand down.

The first phantom absentee ballot request hit the Miami-Dade elections website at 9:11 p.m. Saturday, July 7. The next one came at 9:14. Then 9:17. 9:22. 9:24. 9:25. Within 2½ weeks, 2,552 online requests arrived from voters who had not applied for absentee ballots. They streamed in much too quickly for real people to be filling them out. They originated from only a handful of Internet Protocol addresses. And they were not random. It had all the appearances of a political dirty trick, a high-tech effort by an unknown hacker to sway three key Aug. 14 primary elections,

Ann Arbor, Mich. - Want to see how quickly the look and business model of American public universities are changing? Visit a place like Indiana University. Five years ago, there were 87 undergraduates from China on its idyllic, All-American campus in Bloomington. This year: 2,224. New figures out Monday show international enrollment at U.S. colleges and universities grew nearly 6 percent last year, driven by a 23-percent increase from China, even as total enrollment was leveling out. But perhaps more revealing is where much of the growth is concentrated: big, public land-grant colleges, notably in the Midwest.

Washington - It´s not just the economy, stupid. It´s the demographics - the changing face of America. The 2012 elections drove home trends that have been embedded in the fine print of birth and death rates, immigration statistics and census charts for years. America is rapidly getting more diverse, and, more gradually, so is its electorate. Nonwhites made up 28 percent of the electorate this year, compared with 20 percent in 2000. Much of that growth is coming from Hispanics. The trend has worked to the advantage of President Barack Obama two elections in a row now and is not lost on Republicans

Banging on pots, tens of thousands of demonstrators took to the streets of Argentina yesterday to protest against a possible third term for President Cristina Kirchner. "Yes to democracy, no to re-election" chanted the flag-waving demonstrators, who also took issue with rampant corruption and crime in the South American country. (Snip) She succeeded her husband, Nestor, who died of a heart attack in 2010. She is currently barred by the Argentine constitution from running for a third consecutive term in 2015, but her supporters in congress have been lobbying for a constitutional amendment.

A Pennsylvania judge is issuing an order to reinstate Republican election officials across Philadelphia who allegedly were ejected or refused entry by on-site Democratic voting chief judges, GOP officials tell Fox News. One Republican official claimed that "just under 70" Republican election officials were blocked from Philadelphia polling sites Tuesday morning by Democrats on site. One of them, the official claimed, "was shoved out of the polling place." "For this many inspectors to be ejected from polling places is rare, even for Philadelphia," the official told FoxNews.com. Further, one polling site in Philadelphia apparently had a mural of President Obama

Even at a dinner dedicated to the Happy Warrior, the president seemed like the Unhappy Warrior. Barack Obama was elegant in white tie and got off some good gibes at the annual Al Smith charity banquet at the Waldorf-Astoria in Manhattan on Thursday. (SNIP) “President Obama and I are each very lucky to have one person who is always in our corner, someone who we can lean on, and someone who is a comforting presence,” Romney said. “Without whom, we wouldn’t be able to go another day. Housing construction numbers for September were “blowout” and “smashed consensus,” according to analysts who follow the sector. Single family starts rose 11 percent from August and are up nearly 43 percent from a year ago. This from the depths of the housing recession. Multi-family starts and permits, however, garnered a different headline: “Headline Risk as Data Cross 10-year Averages,” came the report from Cantor Fitzgerald. Building permits for multi-family buildings, which means five units or more, and which will be rental buildings, not condos, jumped 93.4 percent from a year ago to 323,000, which is above the 10-year average Source name corrected by staff

Michelle Obama has admitted that she is already tired of the bangs she first sported in January. The First Lady said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight: ´Bangs are a day-by-day proposition. They´re starting to grow out, get a little irritating.´ Still, she hasn´t let her hairdo woes get her down. ´It´s okay,´ she said after her initial complaint. ´We´ll be good.´ The first indication that her hairstyle was becoming a burden came about last weekend, when Malia, 14, was spotted adjusting her mother´s hair during the White House Easter Egg Roll.

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”

On Friday, Sean Hannity brought Pat Smith, mother of the late Sean Smith, on his radio program. The 34-year-old information management officer was one of four Americans murdered in the Benghazi embassy attack on September 11, 2012. In the chilling interview, a distraught Ms. Smith, in tears, pleaded for answers and spoke of the efforts to silence her. Ms. Smith first relayed how her son, prior to the attack, requested additional security in advance and warned the State Department: He did tell them, ahead of time, he typed it into his little typewriter over there,

Put out an all-points bulletin: Millions of Americans have gone missing from the workforce. Every month that those would-be workers are gone raises the odds that they might never come back, dimming the prospects for future economic growth. The vanishing trend is more than a decade old, but it accelerated during the Great Recession. Throughout 2012, economists held out hope that it had stopped. But then came Friday’s jobs report, and hopes were dashed. The Labor Department reported that the U.S. labor force — everyone who has a job or is looking for one — shrank

Gluten-free diets are all the rage, but they can be dangerous if not done right. What is gluten? It´s the spongy complex of proteins, found naturally in wheat, rye, and barley, that gives elasticity to dough and allows it to rise. When flour is moistened and either kneaded or mixed into dough, gluten molecules form an elastic, microscopic latticework that traps the carbon dioxide produced when yeast ferments, causing dough to inflate like a hot air balloon. Baking hardens the gluten, which helps the finished product keep its shape. Wheat — and gluten — is ubiquitous in the American diet.
