Beyoncé´s publicist asks for ´unflattering´
Superbowl photos to be pulled

Telegraph [UK], by Alice Vincent

Beyoncé´s energetic Super Bowl performance came with its own fan-filled audience, a contribution from her rapper husband Jay-Z and a costume wild enough to enrage animal rights protestors. One thing the singer didn´t plan for, however, was "unflattering" photos. It appears not even divas are immune from an awkward snap, and when American website Buzzfeed decided to publish 33 of the less photogenic photos of Beyoncé´s performance, news site Gawker found out that her publicist called for them to be taken down. The publicist sent an email to Buzzfeed "respectfully asking" that they remove some of the "unflattering" photos, specifying

Could it be that, for instance, the facial expressions on the first two photos bear an uncanny resemblance to someone whose name I can´t quite recall at the mo. . .

No kiddin´- of the five photos, all bear a facial resemblance to the most popular woman in the U.S. -if not the world. I wonder who really requested that they be pulled?

Oh man did you two nail it. Is it true what they say, animals and besties grow to look like each other? Beyonce is right though, a couple of those shots are extremely rude, to put it mildly.

It was a disgustingly vulgar, ultimately boring performance which consisted primarily of Beyouch tossing her hair, humping the air, all the while screeching into the microphone. Not suitable for children or self respecting adults for that matter. The photos merely expose who and what Beyouch really is and her resemble to that other disgustingly vulgar sad excuse for a less than first lady is startling. Seperated at birth or their plastic surgery operations were performed by the same surgeon minutes apart.

When one bumps and grinds right 3 feet in front of a camera, one should expect ungraceful and unflattering photos. Sorry, Beyonce, when one lives by the camera, one......well, you know.

I´m surprised she hasn´t tried to get the video of her fake pregnancy pulled from Australian tv. The video where her baby bump literally deflates when she bends over. Everything about Beyonce is fake, just like her BFF´s the Obama´s.

Vulgar, raw, fierce (Buzzfeed´s word) - all of those and more I can see. But unflattering? If those 33 pics are unflattering, then the whole act was unflattering. I can see her mother or grandmother saying so, but not her publicist. I don´t get it, but it feels way too lofo to spend any more time thinking about it.

Beyonce´s publicist has to get with the program. Why is he asking? Just get Barry on the horn and have the website shut down, or raided. Then have any and all publishers of the unflattering photos taken off to be reeducated. Isn´t that where we´re headed anyway?

The two photos at the top of the page bear a startling resemblance to Mrs. Obama. I wonder if they´re related or she had plastic surgery to make it so.

The superbowl is watched by millions of kids. It was bad enough that some woman sat down while performing the National Anthem at a tempo that would make a dirge sound peppy. Aren´t there any people who can sing left in the country?

Truth be told, it´s not that Beyonce or Jay-Z give a fig about the pictures being unflattering. With their relentless self-promotion, they don´t want to give away for free what they could sell, so these photos will show up in her next book, "Postpartum Kegel Dance Moves".

Look for it on the same shelf at the bookstores where you find her other titles, like, "How to Bump & Grind for $$$", "Gain the World, Lose Your Soul in 30 Days"...

Now we have Beyonce (who actually did strip away her clothing on stage) and 2 others in black leather bathing suits basically strutting around looking "fierce". They bore me.

Millions of people saw her extended gyration and grotesque moves, contortions, and facial expressions. It was all "unflattering". She looked slutty and ugly. And intentionally so. That was the image she wanted to project. That is what the adjective "fierce" that her sistahs toss about admiringly - often about Moochelle - all the time.

How many photos are taken at a Super Bowl? Back in the days of film I recall reading in Editor & Publisher one year that over 30,000 rolls of film were shot by the professional news cameramen at the game. Today you know almost everyone in the stands has some sort of camera device, if for no other reason than to prover they were actually at the game.

Just as Franklin Roosevelt promised never to send “American boys” to fight in Europe, so Barack Obama vowed that US military strength would henceforth “pivot” towards Asia. For anyone who still takes the security of the West seriously – and I fear I am in a distinct minority – the manner in which Russian President Vladimir Putin has effortlessly achieved his audacious land grab in the Crimea should serve as a dramatic wake-up call for Nato. And yet, to judge by the mood music coming from the meeting of Western leaders in The Hague this week, the likelihood of Nato doing anything to dissuade Moscow´s macho man from undertaking any further acts of military adventurism in central Europe or the Baltic states does not seem at all

The latest report from the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is due out next week. The number of homes where no-one has a job has fallen by nearly half a million in just two years, new figures showed yesterday. There were fewer children living in families where nobody works even than at the height of the boom a decade ago, they said. The rapid drop in the ranks of benefit-dependent families comes against a background of rising employment, and of welfare reforms designed to make it less lucrative to choose to live on the state rather than to work. Media Matters, the website of choice for Fox News haters everywhere, attacked the cable news network on Monday for using the term “homosexual” in its programming — advancing the peculiar argument that the scientific term has a “pejorative connotation.” The online “media watchdog” contends that calling gay people “homosexual” is “a practice that’s quickly falling out of favor with major news outlets due the term’s often pejorative connotation and frequent use by opponents of LGBT equality.” Fox News, they chide, “has yet to update its language when referring to gay and lesbian people.” Buttressing their argument? WASHINGTON — Mitt Romney said Sunday that President Barack Obama is naive when it comes to Russia, has shown "faulty judgment" about Moscow´s intentions and could have done more to try to deter its annexation of Crimea. The 2012 Republican presidential nominee said Obama didn´t have the foresight to anticipate Russia´s moves and should have been working earlier with allies to make clear the penalties that Russia would face if it moved into Ukraine. Romney did acknowledge that such steps may not have been enough though to hold back Russia President Vladimir Putin. "Had we communicated those things, there´s always

London - A remarkable piece of high-tech data detective work has provided what looks to be the missing clue to the tragic fate of missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370, an expert said Monday. Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak earlier on Monday said that information provided by British satellite company Inmarsat and the British government´s Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) confirmed that MH370 had flown to a remote part of the Indian Ocean where the flight ended. (Snip) Inmarsat had come up with a theory to apply to the data it had collected from MH370 during the flight, and had then tested the results on aircraft in

Former President Jimmy Carter is back in the news this week publicizing a new book about women’s rights. But, as is often the case with Carter, he drew more interest for comments he made about Israel and its supporters. When asked on NBC’s Meet the Press yesterday by Andrea Mitchell why it was that Barack Obama never called upon him for advice, he made it clear that the Jewish state was the reason he has been treated like a pariah: I—that’s a hard question– for me to answer—you know, with complete candor. I think the problem was that– that in dealing

A few weeks ago, I wrote about how the sweeping acceptance of gay marriage in recent years is owed in large part to Christianity. Rejecting the rigidly hierarchical and stratified societies of the ancient world, Jesus Christ taught the equal dignity of all persons, proclaimed that the meek shall inherit the earth, and declared that the last shall be first and the first shall be last. The Western world has been working out the logic of these subversive teachings ever since, with the institutional transformation of marriage being the latest, though surely not the last, example of its social, moral,

First daughter Sasha Obama cut a stylish figure in jeans and shades as the Obama girls visited the Great Wall of China today. Michelle Obama, Malia, 15, and Sasha, 12, were left alone to explore the Mutianyu section of the historical landmark in the northern Beijing suburbs though Chinese police officers looked on protectively. The three walked a stretch of the wall that looks out to a massive rock inscription on a hillside that reads in Chinese: ´Loyal to Chairman Mao.´ The country has been fascinated by Mrs Obama´s ´elegance´ during the weeklong visit to the country to promote educational

WASHINGTON — Spring break was never this dull. First Lady Michelle Obama’s kids finally hit the wall on their whirlwind visit to China, showing signs they’ve nearly reached their limit tagging along with mom as she visits site after site on what’s billed as a “person-to-person” tour. Accompanied by Malia, 15, and Sasha, 12, the first lady on Monday toured Xi’an, an ancient city in the ancestral province of Chinese President Xi Jinping. They inspected the city’s 600-year-old wall, a day after touring the Great Wall near Beijing. Photos show Sasha looking like she’d rather be back home with her pals than hitting the

Most Supreme Court watchers are fixated these days on Sebelius v. Hobby Lobby—the important challenge to the Affordable Care Act’s contraception mandate scheduled for argument Tuesday. And why wouldn’t they be? With its potent mix of religion, sex, Obamacare, and prayerful corporations, it’s the blockbuster case of the term. It is also a crucial test of Chief Justice John Roberts’s leadership on the Supreme Court. Just two years ago, Roberts cast the deciding vote to largely uphold the Affordable Care Act. While the country remains divided over whether he acted like a traitor or a statesman, all would have to agree
