The joint Obama-Rove betrayal destined to unite conservatives

| Thank God for Mark Levin, who tells it like it is, depressing as it is. American conservatives have an enemy every bit as destructive as President Barack Hussein Obama. Former Bush administration adviser Karl Rove should be renamed to identify who he truly is, ‘Karl Rogue’. As Levin describes it, in real time the ship of state Titanic is heading full-speed toward the iceberg known as the Fundamental Transformation of America. Obama is the captain of the Titanic, but the “barnacles on the side of the Titanic” are “Karl Rove and his puppet Stephen J. Law”.

Comments: I haven´t watched Fox News since before the election because I REFUSE to give viewership to a news station that gives minutes to phony conservatives who are wolves in sheep´s clothing. I´ve about had it with Hannity too.

I cringe every time I read a post by a Obama follower that FoxNews is biased and conservative. FoxNews is NOT to be trusted as a voice for true conservatism. I´m just putting that out there.

I heard Mark Levin´s expose´ of Rove and crew last evening. There is no refuting the record. Rove has been a failure insofar as conservative causes are concerned. For details, read the transcript of Levin´s show. Fox should cut Rove loose.

Mark Levin is just another complain about everything all the time conservative. I may agree with this type of conservative 90% of the time on specific policy issues but they will never be satisfied ever. Every thing that is done that they don´t agree with 100% is a slight to them and those they diagree with are framed as less than conservative.

Yes sir, there are times where people can be absolute in their political views. But that has to be within their own segment or their peer group.
To be absolute when it involves a majority of people who have different views. Which ranges from extreme to minor differences. To be absolute in this setting is “stupid, dumb and ignorant.”
We lost the Senate by following this ideology of the moronic imbecile thinking.
Remember the witch from DE. the duh, duh from NV., the moronic speaking Akin,. Likewise the most stupid loss was the Luger seat by the dimwit who knew the foreknowledge of Gods actions and thoughts.
I am a hard core, very religious Republican.
Lets not be stupid dumb and ignorant.
Remember the following; “Second place is nothing but first loser.”

Yes, the Rove-Overs are the same as the Marxists but go under the Republican name.
This choice of words is not helpful.
Conservatives need to engage in ideas. We have become noting more than intellectual tattle-tales. It´s not working.
Conservatives are the reason that America was that "shining city on a hill". Lately we have become a whining city in the dumps.
I agree with the principals of McLeod´s piece, but we need to be more careful in our rhetoric. We won´t win any hearts and minds this way.

If there was any uniting, Ron Paul was our chance. The so called conservatives house a huge portion of those who support the war machine and somehow think carpet bombing Iraq had something to do with the Saudi attack on the World Trade center. The Bush family is every bit as dangerous as Obama.

Ask any Liberal (ok even some conservatives), how many show hosts on Foxnews are Liberal? How many openly Gays are there?
If they are all still there it was five Liberals and one Gay (Shep). Not to mention all the hired Democrat "Contributors".
Based on this, how can any intelligent person say Foxnews is "right wing", "republican" and other ignorant names?
All those here who speak against Fox are those who want Fox to lick their behinds and be ALL Conservative. If they did that then they could not claim "fair and balanced".
So which do you prefer, "fair and balanced" with news of both sides, or "lick your behind your way or the highway"?
It will take a lot of money and influence to overcome Karl Rove. I suspect his goal is to get Jeb Bush as the next President. Jeb was a very popular Governor and did great things. Not sure, just yet, how he would be as President. Maybe one day folks will wake up and realize how Great Sarah would be as President.

Sad to see how the message lately seems to center on how horrible, bad, nasty everything done by any Republican - right, moderate, etal.....has become the news-of-the-day story. Wish we could try to stay united in some way, and direct our venom at the true problem - the Progressive/Leftist agenda.

#12 - the problem for many of us is that we don´t trust the Repubs anymore than the Dems. My RINO Congressman votes like a Dem as much as not. He votes like a Dem on big things - Cap and Trade, raising debt limit, increasing taxes, not cutting spending, and then makes a big deal on votes that don´t matter.
Many of us are focused on the Progressive/leftist agenda, but see too many of the Republicans do nothing more than make a whole lot of noise and lip service before they vote to move the Progressive/leftist agenda forward,
See how they are already positioning to cave on legalizing illegal aliens?

Apparently many find reality to painful to absorb. Republican politics never had anything to do w/principled conservatism. Never! Since post Civil War, the R party has been secular, progressive and corporatist. It´s POTUS nominees being mute testament to that home truth; excepting Coolidge and Reagan. Conservatism, born in classical Athens, evolved during Scholasticism, culminating during 18th&19th century Britain w/Hume, Burke, Pitt, Disraeli, Palmerston; among others. The claim, made regularly, that one is a republican and a conservative is brainless and delusional blather akin to claiming one is a Catholic Buddhist. Lincoln observed that a ´House divided against itself cannot stand´. The GOP rank and file is center-right w/a leadership that is faddish lefty typified by feckless and incompetent failures such as Bush, McCain, Romney and Rove. Time the GOP carcass was buried.

The Progressive Leftist Agenda is a child of the Republican Party starting with Teddy Roosevelt. Nixon "we are all Keynesians now" took us off the gold standard so that we could expand government and fund the EPA. The elder George Bush announced global government with his "New World Order" speech and he started the unaffordable unearned "earned income credit." George Bush the younger handed our country over to war racketeers and destroyed the Fourth Amendment via the Patriot Act. Two factions of one Progressive fascist takeover.

Speaking of feckless and not conservative enough, with few exceptions, is not correct. Reagan was considered a spendthrift, ditto with GW Bush, they were not but the paul, palin and gawd knows who else they would choose are just never satisfied. Taking a brief quote out of a speech is silly and proves nothing. Lincoln started the civil war and should be impeached. All because of a misplaced shot from a ship. We were never united after that guy left the scene.

The American public has been lied to for decades by its political class who, once corrupted, crave the fame, sex, drugs, wealth and most importantly the power. The lies are solidified into truth by the once media, now propaganda ministry.
The further this nation wanders from God´s path the worse our society will become.
Comrade Hussein ObaMao´s election was a turning point in America. She chose with great glee to become a nation of men instead of a nation of law. This will inevitably lead the new Amerika much more quickly away from God´s path and his hand of protection.
Those who have faith must unite, stand up and speak out before it is too late!

In midst of the modern, mindless battle to drive religion completely from American life, a small and inconvenient fact has been ignored: Virtually every important, original American idea is a product of Christianity. Further, had these doctrines never been developed, the US would arguably not been nearly as productive, free or happy. These ideas involve property, liberty, and the rule of law.Today the government bears down upon the Constitution, menacing the Bill of Rights and our entire way of life, offering to trade our freedoms for the supposed security of state control. For the many whose complaints were marginalized when New York Cardinal Timothy Dolan invited President Barack Obama to the legendary Al Smith dinner two weeks before the November 6 election on the weak-kneed alibi that “he invited Mitch Romney too”: Cardinal Dolan gave abortion-loving Vice President Joe Biden Holy Communion and a gleeful shout-out from the altar of St. Patrick’s Cathedral, New York City on Palm Sunday. If President Barack Obama is serious about pioneering a Congress-paid, $100-million mapping expedition into the human brain, he should seek the help of celebrated brilliant brain surgeon Dr. Ben Carson. But it’s far more likely that megalomanic Obama is only jumping onto the human brain study bandwagon because that’s where the increasingly popular Dr. Carson is. “Obama, who jokingly labeled himself “Scientist-in-Chief”, said the so-called BRAIN Initiative could create jobs and eventually lead to answers to ailments including Parkinson’s and autism and help reverse the effect of a stroke.

The new battle-cry to save a disappearing Republic should begin with the words: “Set our children free”. While the President Barack Obama-led Socialist regime in Washington calls the tune by keeping the bouncing ball over the concept of Government-Fighting-Patriots, the real battle is the one where it gets to take over your children. With all eyes trained expectantly on the latest Obama executive order; with the definition of one man, one woman marriage being rewritten by the Supreme Court, progressives in office have been working out the details to come up with a way to capture your children.

Former famed CIA director David Petraeus apologized last week for his blackmail-able extramarital affair with sycophant author Paula Broadwell that “caused such pain for [his] family, friends and supporters,” during an event honoring the military at the University of Southern California. While it must have been devastating for his wife Holly of 37 years to have to go to the family doctor to be tested for sexually transmitted diseases thanks to her husband’s infidelity and lies—something all spouses and partners need to do under such circumstances, that is between them. The truth is Petraeus is getting off easy.

It’s Good Friday and a government holiday in Ottawa. No point trying to reach Canadian Finance Minister Jim Flaherty today. So rather than wait until Monday, Canada Free Press (CFP) is posing this cliff-hanger question: “Is that a Cyprus-style “Bail In” proposed in the newly-minted 2013 budget?” That’s what economic gunslingers on both sides of the border and dozens of letters to the editor are charging. What began as a rumble is growing into an ear-splitting cacophony—and the Canadian government should post a truthful, detailed and in-plain-English explanation on its website.

Radio talk show giant Mark Levin may want to know now that President Barack Hussein Obama’s back from his Israel trip, his White House schedule remains totally empty for Holy Week and Passover. What’s going on in Cyprus should be Textbook Lesson 101 how Big Socialist Governments will always find new ways to rip off the Little People to continue their profligate lifestyles. Taking full advantage of the public they were elected to serve, Cyprus Parliament and their banks worked out the details of a fait accompli while folks went about their own business. In other words, the horse was already out of the barn before social media was able to tip off the masses. Does it surprise any that today the mainstream media is rife with stories

The mainstream media downplaying of what is happening in the Mediterranean Island of Cyprus this weekend is already muddying the water. Tens of thousands of unwitting little people have had their bank accounts ripped off over the long weekend by their own government, in a fashion where their ripped off funds were already a fait accompli before word began to leak out over social media. Media downplaying notwithstanding, the unvarnished truth about what is happening in Cyprus is both precedent setting and staggering in dimension.

Get your money out of the banks.Due to an “emergency deal reached today in Brussels”, a one-time 9.9% tax is to be levied on Cypriot bank deposits of more than 100,000 euros effective Tuesday, March 19. Virtually overnight and with no warning of any kind, the emergency tax deal was imposed on the people of Cyprus without vote or debate. People ran to ATM machines today only to discover that the taxed amount of their cash had already been frozen. Monday in Cyprus is a national holiday, the first day of Greek Orthodox Easter.

President Obama´s biggest gaffe yesterday when speaking of California Attorney General Kamala Harris was not in flirtatiously complimenting her as "the best-looking attorney general," but in introducing an observation from the system of beauty into a forum that was about the system of power. What´s that, you say? Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”

Put out an all-points bulletin: Millions of Americans have gone missing from the workforce. Every month that those would-be workers are gone raises the odds that they might never come back, dimming the prospects for future economic growth. The vanishing trend is more than a decade old, but it accelerated during the Great Recession. Throughout 2012, economists held out hope that it had stopped. But then came Friday’s jobs report, and hopes were dashed. The Labor Department reported that the U.S. labor force — everyone who has a job or is looking for one — shrank

Gluten-free diets are all the rage, but they can be dangerous if not done right. What is gluten? It´s the spongy complex of proteins, found naturally in wheat, rye, and barley, that gives elasticity to dough and allows it to rise. When flour is moistened and either kneaded or mixed into dough, gluten molecules form an elastic, microscopic latticework that traps the carbon dioxide produced when yeast ferments, causing dough to inflate like a hot air balloon. Baking hardens the gluten, which helps the finished product keep its shape. Wheat — and gluten — is ubiquitous in the American diet.
