San Francisco greenies
devastate foodies

American Thinker, by Thomas Lifson

Original Article

The green religion has scored a small but highly symbolic victory in San Francisco, using the bureaucratic state and courts to vanquish a den of sin, where humans have used part of nature for their own benefit and enjoyment. In the process, two of the Bay Area´s most visible subcultures have been set against each other. Red staters can savor the cultural contradictions of America´s most liberal metropolis.(snip)Drake´s Bay Oyster Company, which has been operating for four generations, is violating the sacred wilderness state, which to the greenies is the only legitimate condition

Gotta feel sorry for the Drakes Bay Oyster Company and their employees and their loyal customers BUT - does this kind of thing happening in California really surprise anybody?

Agenda 21 on warp speed...Shutting it down is not enough for these miscreants; Destroying the oyster bed makes no sense other than punitive.

The one I find amusing is Cuomo planning on buying all the Jersey Shore homes & turning it into public lands. Can´t wait to see how Christie reacts to his new found pals now.

The area where the Jersey Shore homes were/are was empty land after a previous hurricane but in the 70´s? they started building there again. $$$ changed hands.

I suspect that several years will go by then they will build again.

President Obama has broken many promises. One that he has not broken is his boast that he would "fundamentally transform America." He and his fellow Democrats are on the verge of doing just that by turning us into a nation of loafers. A loafer is an idle person who lives off others. Barack Obama seemingly has no problem with such people. He might even relate to them. He does have a serious problem with his own work ethic, and finds work boring. (snip) But Obama and his Democratic Party allies seem to be gleeful about the rise of the loafer class.

The IRS scandal is so bad that Democrats are unleashing total war in an attempt to beat back a full airing of the abuse. The old adage, "The best defense is a good offense," is all the more valid when the major media outlets are on their side. It is not necessary to have any actual facts to use as rebuttal for the indefensible; it is enough to simply throw a cloud of dust, so as to discredit any charges - in the eyes of supporters and media sycophants.(snip)Such a man is Treasury Inspector General Russell George

One of the first acts of Barack Obama´s presidency was to send back to Britain a powerful Oval Office sculpture of Winston Churchill, looking beetle-browed and determined, the way Churchill really looked when he was defying Hitler. On May 12, 1992, Stan Greenberg and Celinda Lake, top pollsters for Bill Clinton’s presidential campaign, issued a confidential memo. The memo’s subject was “Research on Hillary Clinton.” Voters admired the strength of the Arkansas first couple, the pollsters wrote. However, “they also fear that only someone too politically ambitious, too strong, and too ruthless could survive such controversy so well.” Their conclusion: “What voters find slick in Bill Clinton, they find ruthless in Hillary.” The full memo is one of many previously unpublished documents contained in the archive of one of Hillary Clinton’s best friends and advisers, documents that

SAN ANTONIO — We recommend incumbent John Cornyn for the GOP´s U.S. Senate nomination, based on unmatched experience and decades of service to Texas. The theme among a bevy of challengers seems to be that Cornyn is a CINO, a conservative in name only. This is not just counter-intuitive but counter-factual. Various ratings — liberal and conservative — have agreed on one thing, Cornyn´s conservative credentials are genuine. Not conservative?
