| According to Fox (and others) Mitt Romney´s son, Tagg “is reportedly considering a run for the open U.S. Senate seat in Massachusetts.” Leading one to ask ... why? Mr. Romney hasn´t held public office. His experience in politics, so far, amounts to advising his father in his two unsuccessful Presidential campaigns. He isn´t identified with any particular school of thought or body of ideas when it comes to public policy. Hasn´t written any books suggesting that he has thought through any of the issues of the day. So if he were to run,

It´s not as if Tagg Romney raised his hand and shouted, "I´m next!". It is my understanding that the Mass. GOP was begging Mitt or Ann or ANY Romney to run. I don´t think Tagg will do it, but it shouldn´t be a capital offense among some for him to simply consider it.

I like your post #8 except for the "no nothing". We don´t know that Tagg is a no nothing. I guess we couldn´t expect him to bew as knowledgable as Elizabeth Warren, but I would think he has inherited a good brain from Ann and Mitt.

If Warren is qualified then Tagg is over qualified. I don´t know why he´d run. The Romney´s are done in MA. They should move to utah where a seat will be basically handed to them.. I´m not saying that in a bad way. I´m just saying that the people in Ma are a bunch of retards and wouldn´t know a good thing if their lives depended on it.

Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. was the deadline for members of the Senate Judiciary Committee to propose amendments to the Gang of Eight comprehensive immigration reform bill. There were a lot of amendments. When it first became clear that the CIA’s Benghazi talking points had been altered, many of us viewed the White House as the prime suspect. After all, it served President Obama’s political purposes to claim, at the height of a political campaign in which he was taking credit for the fall of al Qaeda, that the death of a U.S. ambassador was down to spontaneous outrage over a video, rather than pre-planned terrorism. Former Gov. Mark Sanford completed the trail to political redemption Tuesday with a win over Democrat Elizabeth Colbert Busch to reclaim his old seat in Congress. Sanford defeated Colbert Busch 54 percent to 45 percent, according to full unofficial results. Mark Sanford has won the South Carolina special election in a competitive race for what in normal circumstances is a safe Republican seat. The former governor beat Democrat Elizabeth Colbert Busch, the sister of comedian Stephen Colbert Busch, for the state’s 1st congressional district.
