On Friday, Hillary Rodham Clinton left the Harry S. Truman Building of the State Department after doing a grand media tour of every media outlet with a camera and a microphone. Meanwhile in Benghazi, where it was twenty degrees warmer, foreign organizations were fleeing the city while the killers who stayed behind still walked the streets. In her joint appearance with Obama on 60 Minutes, Clinton claimed that her critics were not living in an “evidence-based world”. This is the same world of which she wrote in her goodbye letter to her State Department colleagues; “I am proud

What I find most disconcerting is the fact that this woman may become our next president of United States. This fact is incomprehensible to me in light of her record, and propensity for corruption. The fact that so many women admire Mrs. Clinton is an example of the moral decay in this country.

After the "he give free phone, he gonna do more" (re)election of the ´Current Occupant´ of the WH, anything is possible. The hope that enough people will wake up and see the light is fading.

But again no one was held responsible. It’s a long way from Benghazi to Waco, but the Clintons retain their talent for walking over corpses to reach their ambition. And their critics, who notice the bodies, are accused of harboring personal vendettas and of not living in an “evidence-based world.”

Daniel Greenfield has stepped up his surgical exploration of The Hildabeast in this great article.

The beginning of Nidal Hasan’s trial and his open admission to being an Islamic terrorist has highlighted the cases of servicemen wounded by Hasan and the refusal to Obama Inc. to concede that they were wounded in a terrorist attack. Their voices are now being silenced by the same system that has bent over backward to cater to Nidal Hasan, flying him out daily on a chopper and continuing to pay his salary. Autumn Manning, wife of Army Staff Sgt. Shawn Manning who was wounded in the Ft. Hood terror attack, is speaking out on Twitter.

WASHINGTON — President Obama told a crowd of Marines Wednesday that sexual assault in the military will not be tolerated. “It undermines what this military stands for and it undermines what the Marine Corps stands for when sexual assault happens within our units,” Obama said, standing before an audience of Marines at Camp Pendleton in California “And that’s why we are going to work together, all of us, too stop these crimes of sexual assault and uphold the honor and the integrity that defines the finest military on earth.” “That message is coming all the way from the top,”

Few Americans outside of Knoxville, Tenn., know about the case of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom, two young people who were kidnapped, savagely assaulted, raped, and murdered by people of a different race. If Christian and Newsom had been black, and they had been raped, tortured, and murdered by a group of white people, the victims’ names would be painfully seared into the national psyche by the media’s saturation coverage of the atrocities and their aftermath. The reason the case attracted so little media attention was because Christian and Newsom were white.

In April, two black teenagers punched a Chinese immigrant, 59-year-old Tian Sheng Yu, in the mouth in downtown Oakland, California. He fell on his head, spent the next few days in critical care, and subsequently died. In late March, five black teenagers surrounded a 57-year-old Asian woman at a light rail bus stop in San Francisco; one of them grabbed her and threw her from the platform onto the rails before beating her. In January, black teenagers kicked and beat 83-year-old Huan Chen after he got off the same bus stop. He, too, died from his injuries.

Hollywood is in trouble. Some of that is thanks to the shifting methods of distribution and production in moviemaking; it’s cheaper than ever to make movies, and it’s cheaper than ever to sit home and watch them. That means that studios are interested in churning out huge-budget films that simply demand to be seen on the big screen, rather than streamed via Netflix six months later. Which is fine. The problem is that of late, Hollywood’s big budget flicks are missing more often than they’re hitting. And that is thanks to Hollywood’s continual desire to slap Americans

Most voters are unhappy with the way things are going in the country, and over half say they don’t see signs the economy has turned the corner, according to a Fox News poll released Wednesday. Those are two of the reasons why President Obama’s job approval remains below 50 percent -- and hits a new low among independents. Just 25 percent of independents approve of the job the president is doing, down from 31 percent last month. Independents were essential to Obama’s 2008 victory when 52 percent backed him. That support dropped to 45 percent in the 2012 election

On July 20, 1969, an audience of 500 million people watched a man set foot on the surface of the moon and plant an American flag in the gray powder of the Sea of Tranquility. In July 2010, NASA chief Charles Bolden, an Obama appointee, told Al Jazeera that his boss had given him three priorities… none of them involving space exploration. The foremost priority for the agency once tasked with sending a man to the moon was “to reach out to the Muslim world… to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science, math, and engineering.”

The 4 Most Unhinged Responses

The recent George Zimmerman acquittal drew predictable responses from the race-obsessed left: death threats directed at Zimmerman, his family and the jurors; protests with signs provided by and promoting Communist organizations; violence and vandalism; and of course community organizing by race hustlers Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson. But it also brought forth a few particularly irrational reactions. In no particular order of degree of insanity, here are four notably unhinged responses to the verdict, no doubt with more to come:

Today´s Chicago Tribune editorial on the Zimmerman verdict repeats some of the lies and misrepresentations that have helped create so much of the anger over this case for the past 16 months. The editorial which urges acceptance of the verdict none the less begins with the following quote: "Are you following him?" "Yeah" "Ok. We don´t need for you to do that". The quote leaves out Zimmerman´s reply of ok, an editorial decision that changes the clear meaning of the exchange which is that Zimmerman accepts the advice. More properly, what the transcript of the call reads - "Are you following him?"

In the civilized world, it is universally recognized and axiomatic that sport, whether tennis, judo or boxing, transcends politics. Sure the fans may root for the home team and wish to see their nationals triumph, but for the sportsmen and women involved in the match, it is a matter of love of the game, testing the limits of one’s own abilities, and respect for the opposing player’s talents. [Snip] But what is self-evident in the civilized West does not necessarily hold true for the Islamic East. Consider the strange case of Enas Moustafa Youssef Khourshid, a female Egyptian wrestler

The center of a Quebec town has been wiped out, according to the mayor, after a runaway freight train carrying crude oil derailed and exploded in a fireball at 1am on Saturday. One person was killed and about 30 buildings were destroyed as the unmanned train exploded. About 60 people are believed to be missing, but the force of the fire has slowed rescue efforts. Parts of the town were evacuated in the early hours as fireballs shot several metres in the air, flames spread to nearby homes and thick acrid smoke filled the air in Lac-Megantic

President Obama, in his weekly radio address, beseeched voters to get behind his climate change plan and punish politicians who don´t. He may want to be careful what he asks for. Several of those lawmakers come from the president´s own party. Coal-state Democrats have been as scathing as any Republican in reaction to the president´s plan, unveiled Tuesday in a speech at Georgetown University. The pushback was almost immediate, and a glaring signal of the trouble Obama may encounter as he charges ahead with new restrictions on coal-fired power plants. The Washington Post is a legend in the minds of the Washington elite, so its financial decline has caused quiet panic. As NPR media reporter David Folkenflik put it, “You think of stories like the Pentagon Papers, Watergate, these are all stories where The Washington Post led the nation’s understanding, the world’s understanding of some major issues.” Outside the liberal media, you wonder how long Post fans can wallow in their Nixon-crumbling polyester “glory days” in the early 1970s. But nostalgia ruled as the Graham family sold the Post to Jeff Bezos, the billionaire founder of Amazon.com.

Tonight, I went on Lawrence O´Donnell´s show, and Lawrence O´Donnell yelled at me. Or, rather, he O´Reilly´d at me. That O´Donnell interrupted and harangued and mansplained and was generally an angry grandpa at me is not what I take issue with, however. What bothers me is that, look: your producers take the time to find experts to come on the show, answer your questions, and, hopefully, clarify the issue at hand.

“IQ is a metric of such dubiousness that almost no serious educational researcher uses it anymore,” the Guardian’s Ana Marie Cox wrote back in May. It was a breathtakingly ignorant statement.
