| In case you missed the Super Bowl pregame, Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis finally spoke about the double murder in which he was implicated in 2000, and basically said God has proven his innocence. Indicted on murder and assault charges in the stabbing deaths of Jacinth Baker and Richard Lollar, Lewis struck a plea deal for obstruction of justice in exchange for testimony against two other defendants, who were eventually acquitted. I don´t buy Boomer´s opinions on football, he was wrong... again.
The other 2 guys were acquitted, deemed self defense. Lewis did say however, his limo had 14 bullet holes in it. That´s nuts.

Lewis is creepy. That overplayed tent preacher bit is a bit much. And he knows the camera follows him everywhere but to the bathroom.
I agree with Esiason.

Well, someone needed to talk about it. Ray´s been keeping his nose to the grindstone and spending his money on charity causes in order to put things behind him and out of the spotlight. And now he´s a Christian. Okay, Ray, time for some real confession - not just "God has never made a mistake."
Cbs news should take a cue from their fellow employee over in the sports department. Sharpe was the same guy not afraid to call out Belichick for his most-recent refusal to interview following a loss.

Well Ray really hasn´t been doing too well on the charity front. Ray Lewis Foundation started in 2002 lost its IRS tax exempt status because it failed to file returns for three years. A second charity, the Ray Lewis Family Foundation started in 2010 gives away school supplies and food mostly supplied by businesses.
Regarding the murders, the clothes Ray was wearing that night were never found. A Private Investigator got to all of the witnesses all of whom began to have faulty memories. Is it possible that cash changed hands? Is it possible that the NFL wanted to have clean hands?
Ray certainly sets a good family example. Six illegitimate kids with four different women,,,can you say baby momma?????
Way to go Boomer, you didn´t roll over for Ray like so many other talking heads.

Ray Lewis was, and still is, a thug.
Plain and simple.
He can talk to the media about God and Christianity all he wants. Doesn´t change a thing.
He was a thug in 2000, and got off because of bribery, intimidation, and special treatment.
Hope he enjoys his retirement. I hope to never see his face again.

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. North Korea’s young leader Kim Jong-un is waiting for United States President Barack Obama to make a phone call to Pyongyang to discuss easing tensions on the Korean peninsula, according to Russia’s news agency Itar-Tass.
