More 911 calls won´t

The Chicago Police Department hopes to free up the equivalent of 44 officers a day by no longer dispatching cops for certain crimes, like burglaries and car thefts in which the offender is no longer at the scene and no one is in immediate danger. Police confirmed the change, which takes effect Sunday. Police Superintendent Garry McCarthy told aldermen last year he was considering a move in that direction. The change is not related to plans by Mayor Rahm Emanuel and McCarthy to shift what they indicated was as many as 200 officers from administrative duties to beats

If your car is stolen the only way to get the police to respond is to tell them it´s illegally parked.

Many agencies have been doing this for years. Some clerk (who may be the girlfriend of the suspect) takes the report over the phone.

It won´t matter if the criminal is still there either. The bad guy could be in the middle of raping and killing and nobody will show up for hours.

It´s always struck me as weird how people in these uncivilized areas of the country hate cops with every ounce of hate they have in them but are quick to call 911 at the slightest hint of a problem. I can´t imagine how many domestic disturbance calls they get on a Fri or Sat.night when Leroy staggers home at 4 am and Aunt Esther is at the door waiting with her mouth revved up.

Why should a cop go into a neighborhood where he is otherwise hated and may even be open season on him because Obama called the white cop out after first getting in office

To me,this looks like law enforcement is throwing in the towel in some areas which means Darwinism isn´t far behind. The survival of the fittest. This wasn´t supposed to happen with President Utopia in charge.

I have seen cops do the same thing even when the population is mostly white and hispanic. At McDonalds in downtown San Jose (which still has a lot of whites) near San Jose State Univ. had a incident in the afternoon where a some hispanic gang members were acting up. This is an area where this kind of thing is NOT common. Still the police refused to respond for over an hour. They just didn´t want to get their hands dirty. They especially didn´t want to deal with gangsters. But if you drive an old car that isn´t washed and waxed, they will pull you over and five cop cars will line up and park behind them while they check your pupils to see if you might be under the influence. Think I am making it up? No, it has happened many times.

In Chicago there is so much murder going on that the punks have no time left for anything else, so the rates of all other crimes including shoplifting and jaywalking have dropped to almost nothing.

Gun bill stopped; lawmakers

A push to fight crime by imposing stiffer penalties for having guns on urban streets came to an abrupt halt Thursday when black lawmakers in the Illinois House used a procedural measure to stall proposed legislation, saying the bill was too focused on locking up young men. The House adjourned shortly after, and the Senate followed a few hours later after failing to address a package of incentives to keep businesses in Illinois or lure other companies here. Adjournment left key issues undone and raised the specter of lawmakers returning to Springfield before the end of the year..

Government watchdog Judicial Watch has released an unclassified map showing the military fleet positions the night of the 9/11 Benghazi terror attack. The map shows dozens of military ships, including two aircraft carriers and 13 destroyers, were stationed in the North Africa Area of Responsibility when radical Islamic militants stormed the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, killing four Americans including U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens. Diplomatic Security agent David Ubben, a survivor of the attack, waited severely wounded on a roof with Navy SEALS Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty for 20 hours before help arrived. "Men on earth are not all the same. Black people are called Negroes. Most of them live in Africa." This is a part of a reading exercise for second grade children in Iceland, seven years old. Famed former CNN host Larry King said he has never heard of Juanita Broaddrick Thursday in an interview with Steve Malzberg on Newsmax TV. Broadrrick, a former Arkansas nursing home worker, accused President Clinton of raping her during the late 1970s in a 1998 Dateline interview. Malzberg was describing a double standard of media coverage during the 2012 conventions, noting left wing pundits dubbed the GOP convention a “convention of rapists” while remaining silent on President Clinton’s keynote address despite sexual assault allegations directed against the former president. King interjected “Hold up, hold up. Stop! Bill Clinton was accused of rape?” Malzberg reacted

Michelle Obama chose Venezuelan-American designer Carolina Herrera for the gown she wore Tuesday to the state dinner honoring French President Francois Hollande. The formal, ornate style of the sumptuous gown by Ms Herrera reflected French aesthetics, from the intricate beaded black bodice, to the train and full skirt in a color called liberty blue. ´From the White House to Versailles it´s not that far,´ said Susan Swimmer, author of Michelle Obama: First Lady of Fashion and Style. ´It´s much more keeping in a French aesthetic than I´ve seen her wear before. It´s very French in terms of how ornate it

House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Dave Camp (R., Mich.) said Tuesday that the committee’s investigation of the Internal Revenue Service found that 100 percent of the tax-exempt groups that were flagged and targeted with an audit were right-leaning. The Wall Street Journal reports: “We now know that the IRS targeted not only right-leaning applicants, but also right-leaning groups that were already operating as 501(c)(4)s,” Mr. Camp said in a statement. “At Washington, DC’s direction, dozens of groups operating as 501(c)(4)s were flagged for IRS surveillance, including monitoring of the groups’ activities, websites and any other publicly available information. Fiery Louis Farrakhan of Nation of Islam fame said during his weekly video sermon that white people have a history of stirring up trouble, and that Allah has chosen blacks “to give life” and sit at the “top of civilization.” He also “issued the final call,” as he termed it: “I say to the Pope and all the lovers of Jesus, if you desire, let’s have a showdown. You call the Jesus that you know, and I’ll call on the Jesus that I know, and let’s see which one of us really knows Jesus.” Mr. Farrakhan quoted widely from Elijah

Less than 24 hours after President Obama illegally rewrote the law he had previously jammed down Boehner´s -- and the country´s -- throat, Boehner handed the budding dictator a clean debt-ceiling hike. Last October, Obama vindictively shut down the federal government upon his having refused to delay ObamaCare, which of course is exactly what he himself lawlessly did on February 10, 2014! Of course, Boehner is hardly in a position to argue now, having foolishly (immensely so) accepted responsibility for the shutdown. Never mind Boehner´s cowardice (we´ll get to that in a moment); what kind of moron cedes that kind of maneuverability to

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius was in direct contact with President Barack Obama at least 18 times between October 2012 and October 2013, including seven occasions where her draft calendar showed Obamacare as the topic of conversation. The news appears to contradict her insistence that Obama was in the dark about problems plaguing the ill-fated healthcare.gov website in the months leading up to its October 1, 2013 launch. The Hill newspaper reported Thursday that documents released through a Freedom of Information Act request show meetings, events and phone calls where the two were together. They also show at

Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.) defended Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) on Wednesday after the House passed a clean debt-limit bill that raised the ire of conservatives. King branded as “morons” many conservatives in the GOP caucus who consistently oppose any effort to pass the debt limit, asserting they are the same faction that led to the government shutdown last year. “This is the same group that back in September and October went into a government shutdown that everybody knew was a disaster,” King said on MSNBC. “They ended up looking like morons following Ted Cruz over the cliff.” King had been

People misunderstood New York Gov. And anyone who heard the comments knows that’s not what I was saying,” Cuomo said when asked about his comments at a press conference. “To the extent people want to have a political dialogue, that’s what it is.” Cuomo came under fire from conservatives last month when he said “extreme conservatives, who are right-to-life, pro-assault weapon, anti-gay … have no place in the state of
