| Security in Benghazi, the eastern Libyan city where four Americans were killed Sept. 11 in a terrorist attack on the U.S. Consulate, has decayed to the point where Westerners are fleeing, assassinations and kidnappings are rife and residents worry that U.S. drone strikes on jihadist targets are imminent. “The situation has obviously deteriorated. It is a systematic deterioration,” said longtime Benghazi resident Jalal Elgallal, who was spokesman of the now-defunct National Transitional Council. Mr. Elgallal recently escaped harm from a nearby bomb blast as he waited in his car at a traffic light.

The left woke up everyday during the arab spring,hoping a missile took out Gadaffi who really hadn´t bothered anyone in 10 years or so.
Obviously gadaffi had his faults but he provided stability in an unruly country. Now these rebels are sitting there with nothing to do or no where to go and the US twiddles their thumbs while heaping praise on Hillary for what a great job she did over there.
The arab spring was supposed to be a uniting force among all these countries to get on the ball and wipe Israel out. What´s happened is people have terrible lives and realize getting rid of Israel isn´t going to change that.
Egypt is in just as bad a shape except they have some leftover structure from the old government. In Libya,nothing happened without Gadaffi knowing about it,including knowing where every light switch was.
Obama and his cohorts suckered these people with the promise that Mubarak and Gadaffi´s wealth would be redistributed. They had to know all this money was in secret accounts and wasn´t disposable.

I still can´t understand why even the lapdogs, oops- I meant to say the press, can still say she did a great job. I would hope that at they do not sleep well at night. It´s a simple question - who gave the order the stand down. Also, where are the people that the Seal saved? Surely one of them must a spine to come out and thank the Seal´s family.

It seems to me that Obama sat out the real Arab spring when he ignored the protests in Iran. Support for those men and women would have done more good than his actions in Lybia and Egypt. Apparently, he felt his support of the Muslin Brotherhood was a winner even though he ignored the deaths of the Iranians who were attempting to throw off an oppressive theocratic government. Makes you question his loyalty to the idea of freedom, doesn´t it? He may, indeed, have an affinity for tyranny. Nah, if he did we would be feeling here in the United States. /s

I think #5 has a very good point. Obama´s non reaction to the Iranian uprising (their Green Revolution) was a flashing neon sign to every Jihadist and Muslim Bortherhoodie to go forth and upset the apple cart.
The US under Obama did nothing for a status of forces agreement in Iraq so we may lose Iraq after all. Afghanistan - well, what more cna be said that hasn´t already about that he!! hole.
But hey, Hillary might get a Nobel Peace Prize...woohoo.

Good point, #8. With America´s future in the world in the hands of conceited "geniuses" like Obama, Kerry, and Hagel, the next few years should be an epic disaster, and not just in the Middle East. But College Graduates populating the Bos-Wash corridor are no longer embarrassed to be Americans, and are hopeful that foreigners will like them better and gush all over them the next time they go overseas for a vacation.

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”

Newtown killer Adam Lanza may have launched his murder spree at Sandy Hook Elementary School as an “act of revenge,” the Daily News has learned. A close friend of Lanza’s mother told The News that the troubled boy was a target of relentless bullying when he attended the Connecticut school years ago. “I think Adam felt betrayed by the school and this was his act of revenge,” said Marvin LaFontaine, a friend of Nancy Lanza’s. “Nancy told me he was being picked on at school.
