| A former Navy Seal, expert sniper and best-selling author was reportedly gunned down at a Texas shooting range Saturday by a veteran who is recovering from post-traumatic stress syndrome. Ex-Navy Seal Chris Kyle, 39, and another man were shot point-blank around 3:30 p.m. at a charity event on behalf of Kyle´s security firm at the gun range at Rough Creek Lodge and Resort in Erath County. The suspect, 25-year-old Eddie Ray Routh, was arrested roughly five hours later in Lancaster, Texas after a police chase. He was driving Kyle´s truck at the time of the arrest, police said.

There is a design here, my friends. RIP, Chris, and God be with you now, and your loved ones left behind.
But there is something smelly about this. Something more is going on, and we´re all right in the middle of it.
Take our Hero out..... by the very method for which he was known, and which is currently the topic of hot debate in this country. And by another veteran. (Recall the DHS publication on domestic terrorism....) And IN TEXAS.
Same day that the WH releases a ´photo´ of their Kenyan Flycatcher Hero. Are we expected to transfer loyalties now, and realize the error of our ways? /s
Steel yourselves. There is a plan at work here......, and it is being expedited.

For the record, Chris was a SEAL...a US Navy sailor, not a Marine as Semper Fi would suggest. He was a hero´s hero. What a shame. What a waste.

Very tragic. Chris Kyle was a true American hero. I´ve yet to tell my husband, a former SEAL as well, since he´s still in bed sleeping.
None of the articles I´ve read so far have named the second victim. Apparently Kyle was working with Routh, who was suffering from PTSD.

My only thought is check the shooter´s voting card, and when he last had contacts with leftist organizations. PTSD might have been a factor, but I would not put it past this Administration to orchestrate tragedy.
1. the abandoned at Bengahzi. 2. the hundreds dead in Mexico. 3. Almost all of the tragic school shootings were done by young men who were under the care of ´Mental Health Professionals´ who themselves tend to be hard left leaning.
I may be paranoid, but when someone IS after you, being paranoid is a survival factor.

The government wants to take weapons away from vets that suffer from PTSD. But, they also want to declare ALL vets suffer from a form of PTSD in varying degrees. Watch this play out.

I watched with great honor the TV show ´stars earn stripes´ and loved the way our service members who worked one-on-one with the ´stars´ to train them on the use and tactics of the weapons they were to use in their exercise. To see the ´stars´ go from an arrogant person to on of great humility was priceless. I would recommend viewing the show for anyone to see what our heroes do everyday!
I hope his killer gets what he deserves and these acts by or for our government does make you pause with a suspicious eye. The removal of high ranking officers and military men who disagree with the administrations views does seem strange. If I were a former military man, I would definitely be watching my back.

It fits right in with the current memes, guns are evil and must be taken away and military veterans are more dangerous to the nation than Al Quaeda so big Sis needs to carefully monitor them. Obviously we can´t therefore let veterans have firearms, can we? Just go back to sleep now sheeple, your government will take care of you.

I´m heart sick. And anyone who doesn´t take note of the number of SEALs killed in the last two years alone is burying their head in the sand. Something stinks.
The only plus is that this happened in Texas and I really hope Rick Perry is not the type to say it´s all confidential. We need to know what the motive was.

The solution seems easy enough: don´t allow anyone with PTSD to own, or even handle, a firearm. Treat all those crazies like the felons they are only one step away from becoming. Cold-blooded killers -- all of them.
Not only so, but it´s also easy to determine who has PTSD: obviously anyone who has ever served in the military. Add anyone who has ever applied for a concealed carry license.
We don´t need to put them all in jail. Just confiscate there cop-killer bullets and their child-murdering guns.
If they resist, perhaps they belong in a mental hospital. It´s a good thing we´ve got Obamacare...

I´m more suspicious of the media in all of this. Murders happen day in and day out all over the country and we generally never hear about them except possibly on our local news. Now we´re hearing about them all the time in the national media. I think they are pushing these stories to the forefront to help zippy in his anti-gun efforts. They are trying to scare the LIV´s into accepting gun confiscation.
RIP Chris.

Since the mass shootings at Aurora, CO, and Sandy Hook, CT, the USA has been experiencing a number of lone wolf shootings perpetrated by people with serious mental disorders who know that if they engage in criminally insane homicidal actions that the news media will instantly make them famous. Are these murders another instance of that?

With the loss of so many heroes, I can´t help but think there is something more smelly going on here, as #2 said. Maybe it´s just living in this age of fundamental transformation that has me thinking this way.
Everything is suspect. I didn´t read anything in this article that said Chris was working with Routh. I did read that Chris had started his own company dealing with security, so I don´t know why he would put a gun in the hand of someone he knew was suffering PTDS. None of this makes sense. Prayers for the family.

This was more than "PTSD". That fits their narrative of trying to disarm as man law-abiding veterans as possible. PTSD doesn´t turn you into a homicidal maniac.
I have little doubt that when all is said and done you will find that Eddie Ray Routh had far more serious issues than PTSD, look to see if there was an unsuccessful effort to have him committed, also see if he was placed on some particularly strong psych meds.

Pro-life organization Project Defending Life has released a new video exposé featuring an undercover telephone call placed by a young woman to Planned Parenthood of New Mexico in Albuquerque. The caller, who gives her age as 14, states she is seeking an abortion and that she is concerned because her boyfriend is 21 and is "worried" he will be reported. The Planned Parenthood employee tells the young woman that she and the doctor will discuss these issues but that the clinic "probably won´t" report her circumstances, even though her pregnancy by an adult qualifies as statutory rape.

On Thursday, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) said one reason illegal immigrants must be legalized as soon as possible is so they can help fund border security measures by paying taxes and fines. During an interview on "The Andrea Tantaros Show," Rubio, as Byron York points out, first said there was no choice but to legalize at least 11 million illegal immigrants because he said the country "cannot wait another four years" to enact immigration reform. He then said illegal immigrants needed to be registered "as soon as possible" so the fines they pay into the system help

Talk show host Andrea Tantaros had a very pointed and uncomfortable question for Sen. Marco Rubio today. She interviewed the Florida Republican about his support for the Gang of Eight’s “comprehensive” immigration reform bill, which puts legalization for millions of illegal aliens ahead of the border security that a majority of American voters want. “People are saying, Senator, that [the immigration bill] is just like ObamaCare, just like McCain-Feingold. It will be an albatross around your neck and Democrats are pleading with Obama to stay on the sidelines,” Tantaros said.

The same man who railed against Bush for wiretapping terrorists wiretapped all of us. That same man has now nominated Avril Haines to the number two post in the Central Intelligence Agency. It’s an important job, one you’d think would require some intelligence or military background of some kind. Haines has none of that. What is it with Chris Christie and Democratic presidents? First, the Republican governor from New Jersey surprised his party by embracing -- both figuratively and literally -- President Obama. Now, Christie´s headlining the closing ceremonies of Bill Clinton´s annual international forum in Chicago. Today´s session, called "Cooperation and Collaboration: A Conversation on Leadership," is the product of an odd-couple pairing of Clinton and Christie that has developed in the four years since the popular former president tried unsuccessfully to end Christie´s political career before it really took off, sources close to both Clinton and Christie said.

Throughout United States history, the group of men who assembled in Philadelphia in 1787 to write the nation’s Constitution had been known as the “Founding Fathers,” a moniker used even on official government websites. But the use of the “fathers” may have been a step too far for the Obama administration. In a Thursday post on the White House’s blog, Keith Donohue, the communications director for the National Historical Publications and Records Commission at the National Archives, announced that the papers of the “Founding Founders,” otherwise known as the Founding Fathers, are available online.

Rep. Trent Franks (R-Ariz.) said Wednesday that the incidence of pregnancy caused by rape is "very low," prompting criticism from Democrats who said the GOP is waging a "war on women." Franks made the comment during a committee mark-up of his late-term abortion ban bill, which is expected pass the House next week. The Republican lawmaker was arguing against a Democratic amendment allowing rape and incest victims to procure abortions. As written, the bill only exempts women whose lives are in danger. "You know, the incidence of rape resulting in pregnancy are very low," Franks said.
