| What is it about “compromise” that President Obama doesn’t understand? Is it that he and Democrats would have to give up something—perhaps numerous things—to reach an agreement with Republicans? Or is a bipartisan deal unappealing simply because Obama and Democrats would have to share the credit with Republicans? The issue this time is immigration. And Obama has resumed his familiar role not as compromise-maker but as compromise-wrecker. He spurned bipartisanship on the stimulus and Obamacare and twice raised his demands so high that a grand bargain with Republicans on taxes and spending was impossible, first in 2011, then in 2012.

Obama continues to jet set around the country in front of cherry picked crowds to get a soundbite on the evening news,same as when running for election. His campaign advisers have been rehired in other roles so the same tactics are being used to fool people.
He´s taking on guns and immigration at he same time in front of a bitterly divided country while also pushing more old school liberals to cabinet posts.
Nobody´s taken any serious actions on his power grabs so he´ll keep doing them while pretending to be bipartisan. He´s taken the advice of the leftist journalist to go for the throat.
We have a swiss cheese border that Obama says is secure and that´s good enough for the media.

1) the guy´s a narcissist. That means serious emotional problems.
2) he does not identify with U.S. citizens. He described himself in 2008 as a "citizen of the world". His goal is to take us down a notch. Or maybe all the way down to a total crash. He is not playing for the Home Team.

For crying out loud Professor Barnes, these people are, first and foremost, law breakers and illegal aliens, not "immigrants." Please read Title 8 Section 1325 of The United States Code before penning anymore dissertations on Obama´s so-called "immigration policies."
It would also be helpful if you occasionally ventured out beyond the Washington, D.C. 495 Beltway and visited some of the Western Union Money Order Transfer Centers, Family Dollar Stores and Walmart Centers out here in flyover country.

Secretary of State John Kerry is worth some $200 million, give or take a yacht. So his decision to slap a 5% pay cut on himself in solidarity with government employees squeezed by sequestration won’t likely hurt him much. But he’s saving taxpayers another way, too — if unintentionally. And it’s downright troubling. How else is Kerry saving money? He’s failing to hire folks to fill key spots at his agency. Terrific. In March, the number of Americans who dropped out of the labor force increased by 663,000 which adds up to a record 90 million Americans who are no longer looking for employment. Zero Hedge reported: This was the biggest monthly increase in people dropping out of the labor force since January 2012, when the BLS did its census recast of the labor numbers. It would take superspin powers to portray the March jobs report as anything other than a huge step in the wrong direction. The US economy added just 88,000 jobs last month, 95,000 in the private sector as public payrolls fell by 7,000. The official unemployment rate ticked down a tenth of a point to 7.6%. 1. That is a paltry number of jobs, more or less matching assumed labor force growth per month. So the economy must add at least that many jobs just to keep the labor market at current depressed levels.

DENVER -- One of two members of a white supremacist gang linked to the killing of Colorado´s prisons chief has been arrested just miles from where the state official was shot to death answering the door to his home. James Lohr was taken into custody early Friday, said El Paso County sheriff´s spokesman Jeff Kramer. Lohr was wanted for questioning in the killing of Colorado Corrections Director Tom Clements. It´s unclear if Lohr has been charged. Authorities believe Lohr was in contact with gang associate Evan Ebel days before the slayings of Clements and pizza delivery man Nate Leon.

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs.
