Bill Clinton is an Unusually
Good Liar and Hillary is No Slouch

American Thinker, by Neil Snyder

April 14, 2008 -- politically speaking, that was eons ago. New York Magazine ran an article by Kurt Andersen about Bill Clinton titled "Falling Out of Love with Bill." It began by focusing on one of the former president's most visible attributes: he's a consummate liar: Bill Clinton is our great living exemplar of Sam Goldwyn's great epigram: If you can fake sincerity, you've got it made. The joke, of course, is that sincerity is supposed to be more or less synonymous with honesty-truthfulness with a buttery frosting of earnestness. And although the honesty we want our presidents

it appears that the schools with high price tags and old established names produce liars, sexually roaming, notorious graduates. Two disgusting graduates who are self centered, dishonorable, irresponsible and yet lauded by the press.

I really don´t think the Banghazi incident
is behind Billary. Twenty people owe their life to one Marine, parents are outraged, as they should be, two respected military men ripped from their stations, and many
Americans not satisfied with the hearings on the issue. The truth shall prevail.

Does Mr.Snyder partake of a snifter or two? His statement "...one of her husband´s most significant accomplishments, imposing peace on the former Yugoslavia,..." Wow! If that´s an area at peace, what does he consider Mali? A world conflict? The Balkans have been fighting for hundreds of years, and they continue to do so. Kosovo, anyone? How about Bosnia, where our troops would be "home for Christmas", and were still there years later. Every country in that area is a powder keg just waiting for a match.
No, Clinton´s significant accomplishments were mostly involving women other than his wife.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) fended off questions about Sen. Robert Menendez (D-N.J.) at a press conference about immigration reform. (Snip) Reid defended the Menendez as a “friend” and “outstanding senator” but declined to discuss any details he may have had with the New Jersey lawmaker about media reports of allegations that he had sex with prostitutes in the Dominican Republic. “First of all, Bob Menendez is my friend. He’s an outstanding senator. Any questions in this regard, direct to him. I don’t know anything about it,” Reid said. The purpose of the press event

President Obama has been losing his TV audience — literally. With the State of the Union proving ever less entrancing for viewers, the White House is desperate to turn the speech into a multiday event in an effort to bolster interest in Mr. Obama’s policies, even if people don’t tune in to hear his words. With online question-and-answer sessions, a “virtual road trip” scheduled for Friday and a presidential video, the White House is determined to spread Mr. Obama’s message beyond Tuesday night’s hourlong address. “Literally, the conversation never ends,” said Lee Rainie, director of the Pew Research Center’s Internet

MSNBC host Andrea Mitchell recalled on Monday some of the most impactful State of the Union addresses in the recent past, focusing primarily on George W. Bush’s post-9/11 speech in which he called North Korea, Iraq, and Iran members of an “Axis of Evil.” Mitchell ripped into Bush and former Secretary of State Colin Powell for approving that remark which alienated Iran, a country she said had been “more or less an American ally.” Washington Post reporter Chris Cillizza said that the “Axis of Evil” address was among the most important State of the Union addresses delivered in recent memory. “That

WASHINGTON — President Obama plans to sign an executive order requiring that janitors, construction workers and others working for federal contractors be paid at least $10.10 an hour, using his own power to enact a more limited version of a policy that he has yet to push through Congress. The order, which Mr. Obama will highlight in his annual State of the Union address on Tuesday night, is meant to underscore an increasing willingness by the president to bypass Congress if lawmakers continue to resist his agenda, aides said. After a year in which most of his legislative priorities went nowhere,

Of all the troubling aspects of the Obama presidency, none is more dangerous than the president´s persistent pattern of lawlessness, his willingness to disregard the written law and instead enforce his own policies via executive fiat. On Monday, Mr. Obama acted unilaterally to raise the minimum wage paid by federal contracts, the first of many executive actions the White House promised would be a theme of his State of the Union address Tuesday night. The president´s taste for unilateral action to circumvent Congress should concern every citizen, regardless of party or ideology. “Repealing and replacing” Obamacare with market-oriented reforms has been the Republican mantra for years now. If you’re a long-time follower of this space, you know that we’re skeptical that Obamacare will ever be repealed, GOP slogans to the contrary. Today, however, a trio of experienced Senate Republicans—Tom Coburn (Okla.), Richard Burr (N.C.), and Orrin Hatch (Utah)—have put forth the most thoughtful and constructive plan yet developed to repeal and replace Obamacare. The plan seeks to ensure that as many Americans have health coverage as Obamacare does. It’s a proposal grounded in the real-world tradeoffs that all serious reformers must make.

President Barack Obama delivered a State of the Union Address on Tuesday that was important less for what he said than for what it says about him. The speech was long, more than an hour. At times it was defiant, at others it felt almost conciliatory. But mostly the speech was forgettable, disposable – a long list of modest policy proposals that will not be remembered for much longer than their echo in the House chamber. On domestic policy, we knew what to expect. The stars of last year’s speech – immigration and gun control – were mere afterthoughts this year,

Former Vice President Al Gore raised eyebrows last week when he suggested that “fertility management” was the key to fighting global warming and promoting economic development in poor countries. Gore’s comments drew criticism from free-marketeers who said his remarks amount to “eco-imperialism.” “Gore’s agenda for saving the world from global warming has always included population control,” Myron Ebell, director of global warming and international environmental policy at the free-market Competitive Enterprise Institute, told The Daily Caller News Foundation. “Advocating population control specifically for Africa is just another form of imperialism. Gore’s eco-imperialism is uncomfortably close to the original racist goals of

A year after saying it didn’t matter what sparked the vicious attack on the US diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Hillary Rodham Clinton is calling the incident the “biggest regret” of her stint as secretary of state.“My biggest, you know, regret is what happened in Benghazi,” Clinton told an auto dealers conference in New Orleans on Monday. Clinton didn’t acknowledge any particular blunder in the days or weeks leading up to the 2012 siege that resulted in the deaths of four Americans. Critics blame unmet security requests by the tragic US Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens, who was killed in the attack. Clinton

It´s a good thing I remembered where I stored all my old ski gear, including the thermal underwear that I hadn´t worn in years. I´ve needed it during a season in which even the Deep South has seen an epidemic of frozen pipes, single-digit temperatures and school cancellations without snow. School kids were allowed to stay home for a day or two because, according to administrators, the weather was too doggone cold. The deep freeze might have forced most of us into a shoulder-hunching slouch, but it prompted an Easter Parade-like promenade by a crew of familiar climate change skeptics

It started out like dozens of other interviews after Tuesday night’s State of the Union address. But when NY1 reporter Mike Scotto decided to press Rep. Deep within the Earth, a fierce molten core is generating a magnetic field capable of defending our planet against devastating solar winds. The protective field extends thousands of miles into space and its magnetism affects everything from global communication to animal migration and weather patterns. But this magnetic field, so important to life on Earth, has weakened by 15 per cent over the last 200 years. And this, scientists claim, could be a sign that the Earth’s poles are about to flip. Experts believe we´re currently overdue a flip, but they´re unsure when this could occur. If a switch happens, we would be exposed
