How the Obama Administration
Defies Federal Law on
Immigration and Welfare

Power Line, by John Hinderaker

Original Article

Posted By:StormCnter, 2/2/2013 6:23:20 AM

Immigration is in the news, and legislation is being proposed that relies on the Obama administration to execute, in good faith, the nation’s laws. But the Obama administration doesn’t do that. Instead, the administration arrogantly ignores laws it doesn’t like, in violation of Barack Obama’s constitutional duty to “take care that the laws be faithfully executed.” This is most notoriously the case with respect to immigration and welfare. We have written about this on several occasions; Jeff Sessions, ranking member on the Senate Budget Committee, sums up the administration’s sorry history in a press release

I think it´s important to be able to prove you can support yourself and that´s how it used to be. I did not have a sponsor when I applied to the U.S.A. for a work visa in 1954--I was young (22) and had no doubt I could get a job but (embarassingly) I had to go to my banker and entreat him to write to the American authorities to vouch for me on the basis of a set of sterling silver flatware that I owned! Can you imagine such a thing today?!!!

Maybe it´s just time to do away with the stupid pretense of the oath of office.Obama has taken the oath 4 times now and has become more anti-constitution with each passing day. Here we are revving up gun laws on people minding their own business while the criminal element in this country has never had it so good. That goes from wall st crooks down the street hustling thugs, there´s no room in jail for anymore.

A lot of big famous companies were founded and built by conservative people but because of sellouts and mergers, the formally successful companies are now being ran by Ivy League grads who don´t understand the first thing about business except if they´re slick enough, there´s a nice year end bonus for them.

Even the ones who want to play by the rules are being forced by Obama regulation thugs and trail lawyers into doing the wrong things, such as making bad home loans, which are back again.

Everytime one of these loans fail there´s a hedge fund crook or derivative schemer that cashes in The home buyers are dupes intended to enrich crooked liberals down the line.

But anyway, now Obama is enticing more illegal immigration with the lure of free healthcare on top of food stamps and the rest.

Obama has the gall to claim the border is already secure, even though their own figures show 30% of border bangers are making it through. They´re trying to get in here before amnesty is imposed and they won´t have to worry about being deported.

All they have to do is make it a felony to break in here and that would disqualify them from many gov´t benefits and be thrown in jail instead.

With a totally corrupt DOJ and Press under his thumb Obama can do whatever he pleases. Unless the GOP members of the House and Senate are willing to take him on he will remain an out of control monster. D.C. Democrats must be scared witless of him.

That is exactly the point Rush made following his Rubio interview. The pResident is lawless so any plan will not work while Obama is in office. Rubio made the point that Obama won´t always be in office several times during the interview. Although Rush was very skeptical about the plan what he likes about Rubio is his passion and his ability to express his ideas clearly. He is also young and the GOP definitely needs new, young blood to carry on in the future.

He is a fraud, an enemy, and a usurper who is dismantling our America as the legislative and judicial branches look on, as if they´re powerless, indifferent, or complicit. How did we get to this stage?

This skinny, Kenyan, choom-smoker, is like an unruly, undisciplined child left to throw temper tantrums and wreak havoc in someone else´s home without consequence.

History bears out that there is always a point in time when an evil agenda could be stopped. It is discussed, books and articles are written about it asking why the people did not see it coming in order to prevent it from happening. We analyze it because we don´t ever want it to happen in the future. However, I fear we have passed the point in time when this Obamination could be stopped. There has been opportunity after opportunity to stop this but it seems to keep barreling on. Each time I think it can´t get worse, it does. I believe it is going to take divine intervention to stop Obama because my confidence in the elected officials in Washington DC is gone.

I think many can see the Great American Experiment slipping away. What was borne of Europe is returning to its roots. The discrediting of the founders and the Constitution is a major part of today´s curriculum. Young people have no clue. What is being lost is the Horatio Alger version of the American Dream as well as the notion of E pluribus unum. In it´s place a strange Balkanization based on race and sense of entitlement.

Benjamin Franklin said it best... “Well, Doctor, what have we got, a Republic or a Monarchy?”

“A Republic, if you can keep it.”

# 5 Other than making speeches railing against his policies and lax or non enforcement of federal laws,
Republicans don´t have many options.
Everything the decreased Republican majority in the House passes , like budgets that
cut spending- Reid ignores.
The Democrats 10 seat majority in the Senate
is an incredible protection
and shield for Obama.
Plus, the national media continues to protect him and cover up his lawless behavior.
The 2014 midterm elections in 21 months
should scare us all.
Obama only needs to flip 17 more seats in the House to retake control of that body.
If he then totally controls Congress, the presidency
and the media , it will be like
his first two years -only on steroids.

This is precisely why I cannot stand Marco Rubio. He is neither stupid nor naive, but apparently thinks all the rest of us are.

Rubio insists that amnesty will be conditioned upon first securing the border. But we all know Obama has a history, outlined in this article, of ignoring and refusing to enforce the laws he doesn´t like. Rubio knows very well, just like we do, that the Obama administration will just declare the border secure (oh, right, they already did that), ignore any such condition, and proceed directly to handing out amnesty cards.

The only way immigration can be responsibly addressed is to secure the border first, now, with no strings and no related legislation. There should not even be a discussion of amnesty until the border is as close as possible to 100% locked down. Then, in a couple years after the construction has been completed, we can begin to discuss what to do with all the illegals that are here.

Rubio must think Republicans and conservatives are the stupidest, most gullible beings on the face of the planet. I trust him about as far as I can throw 100 miles of border fence.

Reply 20 - Posted by: strike3, 2/2/2013 4:41:46 PM     (No. 9154753)

Any new immigration reform will work just like it does now, fence or not. The law abiding will wait years to enter and will not have a chance at a job when/if they do because there will be no jobs. The ones who break the law will work underground or join drug and prostitution enterprises, just like they do now. The only way to ever get control is to round up and sentence all illegals to 1-2 years hard labor (not prison) and then deport them. Then make them eligible to go to the end of the line and re-apply the legal way. I don´t care how many children they have, the children can go with them. Their friends in Mexico will get the message. Then tell the Mexican government that we will cut off all aid and ban US tourism to Mexico until they start to control border crossing from their side.

Tell me one other country that is as generous with its taxpayer´s financial support of immigrants outside of the euroweenie nations.

I am always amazed — amazed — when anyone has the gall to dismiss, even laugh off, the suggestion that the right to keep and bear arms is a smart and necessary provision for a free society. Human history (not to mention current events!) is too chock-full of examples of nefarious regimes violently abusing and controlling their people, and the freedoms enjoyed by American citizens are the exception, not the rule. Frustration is taking its toll in the liberals’ war against guns. President Obama, pushing his broad gun control agenda, said we should be ashamed if we’ve forgotten the Newtown shooting so soon. The New York Times opined that Obama is being shouted down by the “gun lobby,” even though he and Biden had been crisscrossing the country “…making a forceful case for a package of laws that would reduce gun violence.” That, of course, is the media narrative on gun control. Is it time to give up the fight against Obamacare? That’s a question some conservative health-care experts, pundits, and — more quietly — politicians are asking. In the first years after its passage, opponents had hoped that the Supreme Court would strike down the law or that a new president would sign its repeal before most of it took effect. But the Supreme Court decided to modify a few of its provisions instead of striking it down, and President Obama was reelected. Repeal is almost certainly off the table for four years. Obamacare will continue to be implemented.
